  • This Paper studies on thermal oxidation of alumina filled epoxy network polymer used in Extra-High voltage application. The thermal oxidation of surface has investigated by yellow index variation and various electrical properties which are surface resistivity, tracking resistance and AC dielectric strength are estimated by yellow index.

폴리카보네이트 소재의 자연폭로와 실내촉진 내후성 영향 (Influence of natural and accelerated weathering of polycarbonate)

  • Natural(outdoor) and accelerated(artificial) weathering tests were performed to investigate their influence on polycarbonate. The polycarbonate materials were prepared of various formulations divided into three batches, with existing, development materials1, development materials2, containing mixture of UV additives. Weathering tests were carried out as outdoor weathering(Seosan, South Korea) and accelerated weathering(xenon-arc), and the results analysis were evaluated based on yellow-index(YI), scanning electron microscope(SEM/EDS), energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(XRD), and gel permeation chromatography(GPC). Among the three materials, processing method development materials1 with UV stabilizer was excellent in weathering. This study can provide basic data for standardization of development and performance evaluation on livestock barn roof.

  • In order to utilize fisheries resources under a joint management scheme with adjacent nations, as well as detecting of fishing grounds, the factors which influence yellow croaker (Pseudosciaena polyactis) in Korean waters were studied using historical catch per unit effort and oceanographic data. The main fishing ground near Cheju Island was located along the thermal front formed between the Yellow Sea Bottom Cold Water (YSBCW) and northward moving warm current. When the YSBCW (index temperature: $10^{\circ}C)$ strongly extended southward, the fishing condition were worse than average. Especially, low temperatures greatly influenced stow net fisheries, which were operated in the deep water layer The concentration and dispersal of fishing ground and catch coincided with oceanographic features and the seasonality of water masses.

  • Fish, caught by bottom trawling in the middle of the Yellow sea (east of Korea), in the spring and summer of 2016 were assessed for species composition and fluctuation in their abundance. The fish were studied at four research stations (St.) and were found to be composed of 46 species, 31 families, and 14 orders. The dominant species caught were Engraulis japonicus, Larimichthys polyactis, Johnius grypotus, Liparis tanakae, and Larimicthys crocea. All the species were assessed for their numbers, richness, diversity, and dominance to gain a measure of the biodiversity. The highest number of individuals was recorded at St. 4 (50,053 individuals), while the lowest number of individuals was recorded at St. 1 (44,090 individuals). The evenness index was the highest at St. 2 (E = 0.65) and lowest at St. 3 (E = 0.62). The diversity index was the highest at St. 4 (H' = 2.31) and lowest at St. 3 (H' = 2.23). Furthermore, the dominance index was the highest at St. 3 (D = 54.9%) and lowest at St. 2 (D = 47.7%).

커피 실버스킨을 첨가한 옐로우 레이어 케이크의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Yellow Layer Cake Added with Coffee Silver Skin)

  • 본 연구는 커피 실버스킨을 밀가루 중량에 대해서 0%, 3%, 5%, 7%로 대체 첨가하여 옐로우 레이어 케이크의 특성을 알아보았다. 반죽의 비중은 실버스킨 첨가량이 증가할수록 유의적으로 증가하였으며, 비용적은 실버스킨 함량이 많을수록 유의적으로 감소하였다. 부피지수는 실버스킨 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 감소하였으며, 대칭지수와 균일지수는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 대조구의 부피지수, 대칭지수와 균일지수가 가장 높게 측정되었다. 조직감에서는 대조구가 가장 낮은 경도와 가장 높은 탄력성을 나타내었다. 시간이 경과함에 따라 실버스킨 첨가량이 많을수록 경도는 높아졌으나 탄력성은 낮아졌다. 관능검사 결과, 조직감을 제외한 모든 항목에서 대조구에 비해 실험군의 수치가 높았으며, 그 중에서 향과 맛은 SS5가 가장 높았고 외관과 전체적인 기호도는 SS3이 가장 높았다.

  • ZnS/$Na_3AlF_6$/ZnS/Cu multi-layered thin film were simulated by EMP. EMP is a comprehensive software package for the design and analysis of optical thin film. ZnS and $Na_3AlF_6$ was selected as a high refractive index material and low refractive index material And Cu was selected as mid reflective material. Optical properties including color effect were systematically studied in terms of different low refractive index materials thickness. $Na_3AlF_6$ were changed 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, $1.0{\lambda}$. The thin film showed $0.25{\lambda}$ : blue, purple / $0.5{\lambda}$ : yellow $0.75{\lambda}$ : blue, purple, red / $1.0{\lambda}$ : yellow, green, blue, purple. It was becaused by different optical thickness of $Na_3AlF_6$. The maximum of optical interference by refractive layer.

뽕잎분말을 첨가한 옐로우 레이어 케이크의 품질특성 (Effects of Mulberry Leaves Powders on the Quality Characteristics of Yellow Layer Cakes)

  • 본 연구는 뽕잎분말을 케이크의 제조에 기능성 소재로 이용하고자 실시되었으며, 이를 위하여 밀가루의 4, 8, 12, 16, 20%를 뽕잎분말로 대체하여 yellow layer cake를 제조하였다. 케이크의 품질은 반죽의 점도와 비중, 케이크의 baking 특성 및 저장기간중의 텍스쳐 변화를 측정하여 평가하였다. 뽕잎분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 반죽의 점도와 케이크의 비체적은 증가하였다. 케이크의 대칭지수는 뽕잎분말의 양이 증가함에 따라서 감소하였으나, 총부피지수나 균일성 지수는 변화가 없었다. 저장기간 중의 경도변화는 뽕잎분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 경도증가율이 낮았으며, 대조구보다 덜 단단한 것으로 나타났다. 관능검사결과 뽕잎분말을 첨가한 케이크의 부드러움성은 차이가 없었으며 촉촉한 정도는 뽕잎분말을 첨가한 케이크가 더 크게 나타났다.

  • 메밀가루의 첨가량(0, 10, 20, 30, 40)을 다르게 제조한 옐로우 레이어 케이크의 품질 특성을 조사하였다. 반죽의 비중은 메밀가루 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하였다. 케이크 단면의 색도는 메밀가루 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 L값과 b값(황색도)은 낮았으나, a값(적색도)은 증가하였다. 케이크 부피는 메밀가루 첨가량이 많을수록 부피가 작아지는 경향이었다. 케이크 대칭성 및 균일성지수는 대조구와 비교하여 유의적인 차이가 없었으나, 굽기손실률은 메밀가루 첨가 시 다소 낮게 나타났다. 경도는 대조구 보다 메밀가루 첨가량이 증가할수록 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 관능검사에서 맛은 메밀가루 20% 첨가 시 높은 점수를 얻었으며, 조직감과 종합적기호는 메밀가루 20% 첨가 시까지는 대조구와 유의적 차이가 없었다. 따라서, 밀가루의 일부를 메밀가루로 대체하여 옐로우레이어케이크를 제조하는 경우에는 메밀가루 20% 수준 첨가 시 케이크의 품질이나 기호적 특성이 향상된 제품으로 제조 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Glycine max 잎의 성장 분석을 위한 Plastochron 에 관한 연구 (Plastochron indices for leaf development of glycine max)

  • The dvelopment of leaves in soybean(glycine max cv. yellow grain and glycine max cv. black grain)plant were assessed for the applicability of the plastochron index. The plastochron ages versus time in days were respectively 6.4 days in black grain and 9.6 days in yellow grain. Plots of plastochron indes(pi) versus time were linear, there were two distinct groups of regression line. when a point of intersection in the lines were upper than the reference length, pi was estimated n+(ln Ln-ln LR)/(ln Ln-ln Ln+2) or (n-1)+(ln Ln-1-ln LR)/(ln Ln-1-ln Ln+1) . When a point of intersection in the lines were less than the reference length, pl was estimated n+(ln Ln-ln LR)/(ln Ln-ln Ln+2) or (n-1)+(ln Ln-1-ln LR)/(ln Ln-1-ln Ln+1) . The growth rate of black grain plants analysed by pl was higher than yellow grain plants.

인천국제공항의 안개 특성에 따른 안개 안정 지수 FSI(Fog Stability Index) 개발 및 검증 (Development and Verification of the Fog Stability Index for Incheon International Airport based on the Measured Fog Characteristics)

  • The original Fog Stability Index (FSI) is formulated as FSI=$2(T-T_d)+2(T-T_{850})+WS_{850}$, where $T-T_d$ is dew point deficit (temperature-dew point temperature), $T-T_{850}$ is atmospheric stability measure (temperature-temperature at 850 hPa altitude) and $WS_{850}$ is wind speed at 850 hPa altitude. As a way to improve fog prediction at Incheon International Airport (IIA), we develop the modified FSI for IIA, using the meteorological data at IIA for two years from June 2011 to May 2013, the first one year for development and the second one year for validation. The relative contribution of the three parameters of the modified FSI is 9: 1: 0, indicating that $WS_{850}$ is found to be a non-contributing factor for fog formation at IIA. The critical success index (CSI) of the modified FSI is 0.68. Further development is made to consider the fact that fogs at IIA are highly influenced by advection of moisture from the Yellow Sea. One added parameter after statistical evaluation of the several candidate parameters is the dew point deficit at a buoy over the Yellow Sea. The relative contribution of the four parameters (including the new one) of the newly developed FSI is 10: 2: 0.5: 6.4. The CSI of the new FSI is 0.50. Since the developmental period of one year is too short, the FSI should be refined more as the data are accumulated more.
