감국 정식시기와 거리에 따른 생육특성과 성분 분석 (Growth Characteristics and Ingredient Analysis According to the Transplanting Date and Distance of Dendranthema (L.).)

  • 시중에서 많이 판매되는 국화차의 대명사인 감국(Dendranthema indicum (L.) DesMoul.)을 산업화하기 위해, 2018년 가을에 자생지에서 감국(Dendranthema indicum (L.) DesMoul.) 종자를 채취하여 냉장 보관 후 종자를 발아시켰다. 어린 묘종은 2, 3, 4월에 노지에 시기별, 간격별에 따른 꽃의 수확량과 잎, 줄기의 성장에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위한 실험을 하였다. 감국(Dendranthema indicum (L.) DesMoul.) 꽃을 채취한 후 잎, 줄기를 채취하여 성분을 분석한 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 국화 묘종을 정식시기별로 심었을 때 꽃은 4월에 정식한 처리구에서 17.1개로 가장 많았다. 꽃의 지름은 2.9cm, 꽃수는 16개, 생체중은 6.5~6.6g, 건체중은 1.1~1.2g이었다. 잎은 3, 4월에 심은 처리구에서 46~47개, 엽장은 5.2~5.3cm, 옆폭은 3.5~3.6cm이었다. 2. 국화 묘종을 정식거리별로 심었을 때 꽃수는 20×20cm 간격으로 심었을 때 16.2개로 가장 작았고, 30~50cm 간격에서는 16.8~17.1개 이었다. 꽃 지름은 2.7~2.8cm, 꽃잎수는 8개, 꽃잎 길이는 0.8cm, 꽃 한 개의 생체중은 6.5~6.6g이었다. 잎수는 30×30cm, 40×40cm에서 47개로 가장 많았고, 엽장은 50×50cm처리구에서는 가장 긴 6.2cm로 나타났지만 그 외 처리구에서는 5.2cm이었다. 3. 국화 잎+줄기의 추출수율은 7.93%였고, 추출 용매색은 50, 60%는 연녹색, 70, 80, 90, 100%는 녹색으로 나타났다. 감국 꽃은 추출수율이 7.58%, 추출 용매색은 50, 60, 70%에서는 연노란색, 80, 90%에서는 노란색, 100%에서는 진노란색이었다. 4. 국화 꽃에 함유된 성분은 gallic acid, 4-hydroxy benzoic acid, methyl gallate, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic, caffeic acid, salicylic acid, p-coumaric acid, sinapic acid, naringin, 4-melthoxyben, flavone 등 11가지 성분을 확인하였다. 함량은 29.200~36.900ppm이었다. 5. 국화 잎+줄기에 함유된 성분은 salicylic acid가 6,129.526ppm으로 나타났고, 다음으로 4-methoxyben 1,966.714ppm이었다. 함유량이 10ppm 이하로 나타난 것은 methyl gallate 8.197ppm, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic 6.994ppm, caffeic acid 5.566 ppm, flavone 4.522ppm, p-coumaric acid 3.787 ppm, gallic acid 1.893ppm이었다.

한국 야생잡초 참외의 재배적 특성 (Cultivation Characteristics of Wild Weedy Melons Collected in Korea)

  • 국내 전역에서 수집된 야생 참외 계통 중 1986년에 20계통, 1990년에 16계통에 대해 재배시험결과는 계통간에 초장에 변이가 있었고 잎은 작은 편이었다. 성표현형은 양성웅화동주형 30계통, 자웅동주형 4계통, 양성화주형이 2계통이었다. 주지에서 암꽃착생은 양성화주형을 제외하고는 극히 드물었다. 양성웅화동주형과 자웅동주형은 측지의 제 1, 2절에는 암꽃착생이 현저하였다. 유과에는 모두 고미질이 확인되었다. 숙과의 색은 진황, 황, 연황, 황녹, 유백색이였으며 과중은 매우 작았고 숙과의 감미는 매우 낮았다. 일과당 종자수는 50.6-158.4개로 야생종 및 종족유지의 특징을 보여주고 있었다.

  • 화학약품(化學藥品)에 의(依)한 목재(木材)의 정색반응(呈色反應)을 이용(利用)하여 지피조성용(地被造成用), 사료자원, 밀원자원, 공예자원, 및 섬유자원으로서 중요시 되고 있는 우리나라의 싸리 속(屬) 중에서 다음 7 수종(樹種)에 대한 분류상(分類上)의 식별점(識別點)을 조사(調査)하였다. (1) Lespedeza bicolor Turcz 싸리 (2) Lespedeza bicolor var. melanantha(Nak.) T. 향끽미종 연초의 수확시기가 건조엽의 특성에 미치는 영향 (INFLUENCE OF HARVEST TIME ON CHARACTERISTICS OF AROMATIC-TYPE TOBACCO)

  • Normally cultured aromatic tobaccos, KA 101 and KA 103, were primed progressively in three-leaf segments, either 7 days before bud, bud, or early flower stage with 7 days interval, respectively, The cured leaves were weighed for yield, graded, analyzed for quality-related constituents including volatile aroma components. Also the cured leaves were manufactured and smoked by panelists. Yield and quality by price decreased with advancing ripeness. Reducing sugar, total nitrogen, protein nitrogen decreased with successive ripeness, but reverse in this trends with nicotine, petroleum ether extracts and volatile acids components. Among volatile neutral components, furfural, furfuryl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, penethyl alcohol and p-cresol decreased, but solanone increased with delayed harvest. Neophytadiene, oxysolanone, furfuryl aceton was highest at mid harvest, which was judged to be best by panelists. Mid harvest, first primed at bud stage when leaf color comes to pale green to yellow green, seems to be highly recommendable.

  • History of fashion and clothing is needed to understand modern fashion and to predict Future mode. The period of Romanticism in fine arts was from the end 18th century up to the first half of 19th century. The characteristics of shilouttes were found in the emphasis owomen's body line. This feature of romantic fashion is founded in 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990'mode. Major characters of this times are retro of romantic costume. As time goes by, more romantic fashion was set up and new corncern of 2000 fashion trend. The Characteristics of romantic image in 2000 of fashion trend are the emphasis of romantic details and decorations. Such as ruffle, frill, shirring, beads, spangle, sequin, flower. Trend colors are pink, lilac, aqua blue, yellow, green, pastel color. Trend materials chiffon, organza, satin, velvet, gauze, georgette, lace and glittery material. And floral print and stripe print. Forward­looking fashion is ethnic­romantic image influenced India. Trend and fashion have very close relationship and if it is fully comprehended, it will be good opportunity to awkardness againnst new fashion line.

'Honghwa' an Asiatic Hybrid Lily with Unspotted Orange Petals

  • 'Honghwa' an Asiatic hybrid lily was released in 2001 at National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI), Rural Development Administration (RDA), and Suwon, Korea. The cross was made in 1994 between Lilium Asiatic 'Avignon', a scarlet red colored, and L. Asiatic 'Connecticut King', bright yellow colored. It was preliminarily selected as 'A96-3' in 1996. Multiplication and bulbing, and characteristic tests were performed from 1997 to 2000. The evaluation of characteristics was made investigated as 'Wongyo C1-31' in 2001 at Suwon. 'Honghwa' flowers at the beginning of June and grows to 111.4 cm stem length. Flowers are upward-facing, unspotted with orange petals. Year-round flowering is possible by storing the bulb at $-1.5^{\circ}C$ conditions. It is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. It is needed to control Botrytis disease during wet season.

A New Variety, 'Yeeun', an Asiatic Hybrid Lily for Pot and Bedding Plant

Multiplication and bulbing, and characteristic tests were conducted from 1997 to 2004. The evaluation of characteristics was investigated as 'Wongyo C1-21' in 2004 at Suwon. 'Yeeun' flowers in the end of June and grows 41.6 cm stem length. Flowers are upward-facing, unspotted in petals and yellow green (RHS, 18C). Year-round flowering can be by storing the bulb under $-1.5^{\circ}C$ conditions. For forcing culture, it is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. It is needed to control Botrytis disease in wet season.

New Report of Vicia grandiflora Scop. in Korea

  • We have discovered Vicia grandiflora Scop., a newly invasive alien species in Baekun-ri, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea. This species is native to regions from Central and Southeast Europe to Central Asia and Iran and is reported as an invasive species in North America and Japan. This species is similar to the Vicia sativa complex (V. sativa subsp. sativa, V. sativa subsp. nigra) but can be readily distinguished by the undivided ovate to semi-hastate stipules of the upper leaves, yellowish petals, large size of its flower, and elongated hilum. In the field, V. grandiflora grows in disturbed sites near cultivated land, suggesting that their seeds are typically transported by vehicles along with fertilizer or livestock feed. Here, we present the morphological description, photographs, and sites of V. grandiflora growth, which will be useful in guiding the management of this invasive alien plant.

저장온도와 시간에 따른 국화병의 품질특성 (Quality Attributes of Gukhwa-Byung at Different Storage Temperatures and Times)

  • The quality of physical characteristics were measured, using sensory evaluation and mechanical characteristics where different storing temperature and period on Gukhwa-Byung, which is made of different percentages of Gukhwa (0%, Gukhwa powder:1%, 3% and 5%, and Gukhwa flower:1%, 3% and 5%) were added to rice flour, to promote the use of and liking for rice cakes that are a kind of korean traditional foods. The sensory evaluation showed that it is generally fine right after being made. Especially group F3 was evaluated the best for color, feeling after-swallow and overall-quality. As for color alone, it fumed out to be most distinctive in group F3 after storing 24 hours at 4$^{\circ}C$, in group F1 after 24 hours at 10$^{\circ}C$, in group F1 and F3 after 24 hours at 30$^{\circ}C$ and in group F1 after 48 hours at 30$^{\circ}C$, Gukhwa-Byung added with Gukhwa flower takes the higher degree of preference than the one with Gukhwa powder. Moisture decreased and overall-quality deteriorated as the storing time passed. The value of lightness in the color of Gukhwa-Byung, reduced as Gukhwa content increased and storing temperature rose. The values of red color and yellow color increased as Gukhwa content increased. In a mechanical texture measurement, springiness was high in group P5 right after being made. And it was high after storing 72 hours at 4$^{\circ}C$ and after 96 hours at 10$^{\circ}C$, and there was a significant difference according to Gukhwa content (p<.05). Springiness remained unchanged after storing, 24 hours at 30$^{\circ}C$. Cohesiveness was high in every group of P1, P3 and P5, in which Gukhwa powder was added, right after being made, but as temperature rose and time passed, it heightened in group F3, in which 3% of Gukhwa flower was added. In all the samples, hardness gradually increased as the storing time at each temperature passed, and decreased as Gukhwa content increased. Chewiness was getting high as the storing time passed and temperature lowered. Color in sensory evaluation and the value of lightness in mechanical measurement showed a positive correlation at storing temperature 4$^{\circ}C$ and 10$^{\circ}C$ (p<.01). Softness and the value of lightness showed a negative correlation (p<.05). In sensory evaluation, softness and moisture showed a negative correlation with the value of lightness when storing at 30$^{\circ}C$.

양성자 및 감마선처리에 의한 유채 유용형질의 변이계통 선발 (Selection of Mutant Lines with Useful Traits by Irradiation of Proton Ion Beams and Gamma Ray in Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.))

  • 유채(Brassica napus L.) '내한', '탐미', '한라' 등 3품종의 종자에 양성자 및 감마선을 0~2,000 Gy로 처리하여 조숙, 단간, 다수성 등 농경상 유용형질을 갖고 기름함량과 지방산 중 올레인산 함량이 높은 바이오디젤용 품종을 육성하고자 본 연구를 실시하였다. $M_5$세대까지 세대를 진전시키고 특성조사를 실시하여 고정성이 높고 농경형질이 우수한 조숙 단간 1 계통, 조숙 1계통, 단간 2계통과 대화 1계통, 엽록소변이 1계통을 선발하였는데, '내한' 품종에 양성자 600 Gy를 처리하여 선발한 NP600-1-1-198-2계통은 차별성, 균일성, 안정성 등이 인정되었다. NP600-1-1-198-2계통의 고유특성 중 엽형은 하부익상전렬이고 엽색은 농녹색, 줄기색은 녹색이며 꽃색은 황색, 종피색은 흑색이다. 개화기는 모품종보다 8일이 빠른 4월 14일, 성숙기는 5일이 빠른 6월 16일로 조숙이고, 경장은 105 cm로 10 cm가 짧아진 단간이다. 1수협수는 52개, 협장은 6.2 cm로 중간, 1협결실수는 23개로 많은 편이고 천립중은 4.2 g으로 무겁고 기름함량은 45.9%로 높다. 종실로 부터 추출한 기름의 oleic acid는 67.8%로 높으며, linoleic acid와 linolenic acid는 각각 16.7%, 7.3%로 낮았고, erucic acid는 없는 것으로 나타났다.
