Stability analysis of Au/YBCO film (Au/YBCO 박막의 안정성 해석)

  • One dimensional conduction equation is solved by finite difference method, to analyse the stability of Au/YBCO film deposited on a sapphire substrate. Jolue heat is included in the case of current sharing state. The analysis shows the quench and recovery of superconductor depending on the amount of thermal disturbance release on the center surface of superconductor. The critical disturbance energies for different filling factor and operating current are calculated.

  • YBCO materials in the form of large single crystals without weak link probleum is necessary. A refreshment and uniform distribution of the Y211 particles in the YECO were achived by sintering the Ag doped samples. The $em{\backslash}nhancement$ of the critical current density was ascribable to a fine dispersion of the YBCO particles, a low porasity and the persence of Ag particles. In $addir{\backslash}tion$, we have designed and manufactured large YBCO single domain with levitation force.

  • We transformed the shape of a YBCO sample with striation to reduce hysteresis and ac losses. And we chose several points to analyze in detail and visualized superconducting properties like critical transition temperature, distribution of the magnetic field, distribution of the current density and hysteresis in a non-destructive manner based on Low Temperature Scanning Laser Hall Probe Microscopy (LTSLHPM) to examine the homogeneity of the sample.

  • [$SiO_2$] film coated as a passivation layer for YBCO based electronic devices is investigated by measuring the micro wave properties of micro strip line resonators. The $SiO_2$ film coated resonators are compared with coated resonators for two degradation conditions, a $200^{\circ}C$ annealing in air and an exposure to air at $85^{\circ}C\;85\%$ relative humidity. The $SiO_2$ film reduces the YBCO thin film degradation caused by oxygen stoichiometry change and reaction with water.

  • This paper presents a study on the stability of bare and cu-laminated YBCO-coated conductor. we investigate the characteristics of quench/recovery behavior of YBCO test samples. bare and copper-laminated, by subjecting each test sample. immersed in a bath of liquid nitrogen boiling at 77.3 K. to a transport current pulse superimposed to a baseline DC current of 90-95% the critical current. The current pulse has an amplitude up to ∼4.5 times the critical current and a duration of 300 ms. This paper presents both experimental and simulation results.

  • Improved flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) is composed of a series transformer and superconducting unit of the YBCO coated conductor. The primary and secondary coils in the transformer were wound in series each other through an iron core and the YBCO coated conductor was connected with secondary coil in parallel. In this paper, we investigated the current limiting characteristics through initial line current after fault initiation. through the analysis, it was shown that the smaller initial line current is superior to current limiting characteristics and a point of view of power burden of the YBCO coated conductor.

  • 초전도체 선재를 제작하기위해 YBa$_2$Cu$_3$$O_{7-x}$ (YBCO) 와 Ni substrates사이의 계면 문제를 해결하기 위한 buffer layer로써 CaRuO$_3$ (CRO) thu film이 제안되었는데, 이런 buffer layer의 조건으로는Ni metal과 YBCO superconductor사이의 화학적 반응이 없어야 하고 metal component가 YBCO로 diffusion되는 것을 막아주어야 하며 substrates의 산화를 막아주어야 한다. 이런 조건을 만족시키는 것 중에서 CRO thin film이 가장 적절하였지만, CRO의 orthorhombic구조의 distortion에 의만 lattice mismatch 문제가 발생하였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 이론적인 구조 분석을 통한 CRO의superconductor buffer layer로써의 가능성을 검토해 보는 것이 목적이다.

  • 펄스 레이저 증착법을 이용하여 MgO 기판 위에 YBCO 박막을 c 축으로 성장시켰다. 이를 위하여 다양한 두께의 YBCO 박막을 여러 온도에서 증착시킴으로서 두께와 온도에 따른 YBCO 박막의 방향성을 조사하였다. 레이저원으로는 Nd:YAG 레이저의 355 nm의 파장을 이용하였으며, 증착시 기판온도는 $700^{\circ}C$$750^{\circ}C$에서 박막의 두께를 $3,000{\AA}$, $10,000{\AA}$, $20,000{\AA}$ 등으로 변화시켜 증착하였다. 이렇게 증착되어진 박막의 표면은 SEM으로 관촬되어졌으며, Raman Spectrascopy로 박막을 분석하였고, XRD를 사용하여 그 박막의 배향성을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 분석과 연구를 통하여 증착되어진 다성분 박막의 배향성이 기판온도와 박막두께에 따라 민감하게 변화함을 체계적으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과 기판온도와 박막 두께에 따른 YBCO 박막의 a 축, c 축 성장의 의존성을 확인하였다.

  • We have studied quench characteristics for current limiting elements of YBCO films in applied fields of 0 - 130 mT. The films were deposited on sapphire substrates and covered by gold top layer. The current limiting element consists of 2 mm wide YBCO stripes connected in series. The electric field - current density (E-J) measurements showed that the presence of applied magnetic fields induces uniform quench distribution for the stripes, otherwise non-uniform quenches were observed. We suggest that suppressing the critical current by increased fields due to fault current effectively forced the stripes of higher Jc(0) to quench, resulting in equalizing quench times.
