With the recent advance in smartphones, users are allowed to use mobile applications anytime anywhere, and change their way to interact with smart environment and people. As a result, the need for developing context-aware applications on smartphones has a great attention from users and developers. This paper proposes a context-aware framework for supporting UI/UX of smartphones. The proposed framework collects a wide range of sensory data from smartphones and allows developers to analyze and model context models for their desired apps. In addition, it also supports real-time inference within the apps to make them to adapt to context. In order to show effectiveness of the proposed framework, we introduce two smartphone apps: context-aware home screen and automatic detection of smartphone problem use. Therefore, we expect that the proposed framework will help developers easily implement their apps with respect to context-awareness.

In recent years, it is natural that the development and the maintenance of information systems are strongly dependent on outside service providers for economic reasons, especially in public sector. There has been an unexpected growth in the number of selection activities for outsourcing related works. At this time, selection of the contractor generally considers the proposals received based on the RFP(requested for proposal) and determines the ranking by experts committee. However, it is difficult even for expert giving a specific numeric score in weighting criteria or rating alternatives. In this context, an extended fuzzy TOPSIS method is applied for selection problem of IT proposals. A numerical illustration is also provided to demonstrate the applicability of the approach. This approach is very practical to help decision makers in assessing proposals during the selection phase under uncertainties.

In this study analyzed the reliability indices against the water supply ability of Andong dam. The water supply analysis of Andong dam used the HEC-5 model. So Andong dam simulated planed water-supply capacity of Andong dam as increase and decrease +5% ～ -5% of water supply quantity. Water-supply capacity of Andong dam estimated, deficit occurrence, deficit quantity, deficit period. As the results estimated reliability(occurrence based, time based, quantity based) and resiliency vulnerability and with water supply capacity evaluation indices of Andong dam. Also reliability(occurrence based, time based, quantity based), resiliency, vulnerability and resiliency indices are estimated to evaluated the performance of water supply on Andong dam, and their relationships are evaluated.

This study evaluated the photocatalytic oxidation of BPA using the RPOD reactor under various conditions. This study found that the RPOD was effective for BPA degradation. It could reduce 1 mg/L of BPA by half within 5 min under the optimum conditions. According to the study results, $TiO_2$ coating was important for the BPA oxidation. As the coating thickness increased, the removal efficiency improved. The light source, the light intensity and the drum rotating speed were important for the oxidation. The UV light was more effective for the BPA degradation than the visible light. The removal efficiency improved with increasing intensity. As the drum speed increased, the removal efficiency improved. The maximum speed was 240 rpm in this study. Addition of air and nitrogen was not beneficial for the BPA degradation in this study probably due to enough oxygen in the water.

In this paper, we present an algorithm for the detection of illegally parked vehicles based on a combination of some image processing algorithms. A digital camera is fixed in the illegal parking region to capture the video frames. An adaptive Gaussian mixture model (GMM) is used for background subtraction in a complex environment to identify the regions of moving objects in our test video. Stationary objects are detected by using the pixel-level features in time sequences. A stationary vehicle is detected by using the local features of the object, and thus, information about illegally parked vehicles is successfully obtained. An automatic alarm system can be utilized according to the different regulations of different illegal parking regions. The results of this study obtained using a test video sequence of a real-time traffic scene show that the proposed method is effective.

This study investigated the inhibitory effects of sea mustard on high-fat diet-induced obesity and hyperlipidemia in Sprague-Dawley rats. Sea mustard (Undaria pinnatifida) powder, sea mustard ethanol extract, and sea mustard ethanol-extracted residue were tested. The ethanol extracted residue had the most beneficial anti-hyperlipidemic activity. Alginate in the sea mustard was considered to be the key component. The ethanol-extracted residue of sea mustard also had antioxidant activity, which may be effective in preventing hyperlipidemia by increasing the enzymatic activity of superoxide dismutase, which can remove active oxygen from the bloodstream.

The systematic study of freshwater rotifers was conducted on the materials collected from 197 sites in South Korea. As a result, 9 species of Family Colurellidae were identified, 4 species ( 1 species and 3 subspeices) of which are new to the Korea fauna ; Courella uncinata uncinata, Squatinella rostrum rostrum, Lepadella patella patella, and L.elliptica. Total 165 species representing 13 families and 40 genera are now recorded by addign the species described in the present paper.

Commercial production line of FCEV was built in 2013 by Hyundai and followed by Toyota in 2014, with additional manufacturers planning to enter the market around 2017. Now there is limited hydrogen infrastructure over the world, but more hydrogen stations are planned, particularly in Japan, Korea, Germany, UK and USA. ISO TC 197 which was created in 1990 focused standardization in the field of systems and devices for the production, storage, transport, measurement and use of hydrogen. Total number of published ISO standards related to the TC and its SCs (number includes updates) is 17. Now there are 20 participating countries and 13 observing countries. The current status of activity of ISO TC197 was reviewed and particularly issues on hydrogen quality and hydrogen refueling station were discussed.

We have carried out $^{13}CO$ J = 1 $\to$ 0 line observations with spatial resolution of 2' toward 17 small globules selected from the catalogue of Clemens & Barvainis (1988) with a selection criterion of [b] $\ge$ 15 degrees using the Nagoya 4-m radio telescope. Overall characteristics and physical parameters are presented and discussed by examining the $^{13}CO$ integrated intensity map for each of the globules.
