A new operation termed competitive generation in the processes of genetic algorithms is proposed for accelerating the optimization speed of genetic algorithms. The competitive generation devised by considering the competition of sperms for fertilization provides a good opportunity for the genetic algorithms to approach global optimum without falling into local optimum. Experimental results with typical problems showed that the genetic algorithms with competitive generation are superior to those without the competitive generation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the preference of design and body shape for korean baby-boom generation women. For this study, in-depth interviews were carried out to 11 women who were born in 1955~1963. They are called korean baby-boom generation. The results were as follows; 1) Korean baby-boom generation women care to their body shape, and they make much of the balance of body, not just looking slim. 2) Korean baby-boom generation women become more interested in their clothing, and they want to look with casual image than elegant image before. But overweight women preferred elegant image. 3) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer mix-match style for everyday clothes, but they prefer suit-set for formal wear. 4) When Korean baby-boom generation women choose of jacket or coat color, they consider more of their body-shape than season color. 5) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer plain style and jacquard with metal yarn. 6) Korean baby-boom generation women prefer out-door cloth fabric, at special time, they choose pure wool and pure silk. At ordinary time, they like more comfortable fabric like cotton mixed spandex or wool mixed spandex blends.

전력계통의 전원설비 방식은 대규모 집중전원방식과 소규모 분산전원방식으로 크게 분류할 수 있으나 지금까지의 우리나라의 전원방식은 대규모집중방식 위주로 전원계획을 수립하여 왔다. 그러나 최근에 신에너지 전원설비인 태양광, 연료전지 및 풍력발전 등의 환경 친화적인 전원방식이 급증하고 있는 추세이고 국가적으로도 이러한 전원설비를 장려하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 신에너지 전원방식은 독자적으로 모든 부하를 충당할 수 없으며 고장시 전원공급에 차질이 발생할 우려가 있어 전력계통과의 연계가 필수적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 여러 형태의 신에너지 전원설비 중 풍력발전시스템을 저압 및 특별고압계통에 연계하는 경우에 발생하는 보호문제에 대해서 시뮬레이션과 분석을 통해 각종 사고에 대한 보호방식과 협조방안에 대한 방안을 제시하였다.

This paper aims to investigate generation conditions necessary for the most efficient generation by measuring electricity power under various irradiation conditions, since the photovoltaic generation system has high costs and low efficiency. This thesis aims to investigate generation conditions necessary for the most efficient generation by measuring electricity power under various irradiation conditions, since the photovoltaic generation system has high costs and low efficiency. Although the generation power increased with the irradiation, the former did not vary directly as the latter. This meant that the variation of the generation power was concerned in the temperature of a module, the ambient temperature, and the directions of irradiation as well as the irradiation. As for the monthly accumulated irradiation and monthly accumulated power, the maximum irradiation and generation power were observed in May and October and the irradiation, the power and the accumulated generation power were all the highest in spring, followed by fall, summer and winter.

A windheat generation system with a Savonius windturbine was developed and the performance was evaluated through field tests. The system consisted of a heat generation drum, heat exchanger, water storage tank, and two circulation pumps. Frictional heat is created by rotation of a rotor inside the drum containing thermo oil, and was used to heat water. In order to estimate the capacity of this windheat generation system, weather data was collected for one year at the site near the windheat generation system. Wind Power from the savonius wind turbine mill was transmitted to the heat generation system with an one-to-three gear system. Starting force to rotate the savonius wind turbine and the whole system including the windheat generation system were 1.0 and 2.5 kg, respectively. Under the outdoor wind condition, maximum speed of the rotor in the drum was 75rpm at wind speed 6.5 m/sec, which was not fast enough to produce heat for greenhouse heating. Annual cumulative hours for wind speeds greater than 5 m/sec at height of 10, 20, 30 m were 190, 300 and 1020 hrs, respectively. A $5^{\circ}C$ increase in water temperature was achieved by the windheat generation system under the tested wind environment.

How to maintain the optimal electric power generation mix is one of the important problems in electric power industry. The objective of this study is to develop a computer model which can be used to forecast the investment in power generation unit by the plant owners after restructuring of electric power industry. Restructuring of electric power industry will make difference in decision making process of investment in power generation unit. After Privatiazation of Power Industry, Gencos will think that profit is the most important factor among all others attracting the investment in the industry. Coal power generation is better than LNG CCGT in terms of profit. However, many studies show that LNG CCGT will be main electric power generation source because the rest of factors other than profit in LNG CCGT are superior than Coal power generation. Because the nst of factors other than profit in LNG CCGT are superior than Coal power generation. The impacts of the various government policies can be analyzed using the computer model, thus the government can formulate effective policies for achieving the desired electric power generation mix.

본 논문에서는 파도의 상하운동에 의해 발전되는 형발전시스템과 진동발전시스템이 결합된 하이브리드 발전방법을 제안한다. 선형발전시스템은 권선과 영구자석으로 구성되어있고, 파도의 상하운동속도를 직접적으로 사용하므로 파도의 주파수에 관계없이 안정적인 발전을 한다. 그리고 진동발전시스템은 진동시스템인 영구자석, 스프링과 발전시스템인 영구자석, 권선으로 구성되어 있다. 진동발전시스템은 파도의 주파수와 진동시스템의 고유진동수를 일치시킨 공진대역에서 구동함으로써 파도의 상하운동 속도보다 더 큰 속도를 이용하여 더 많은 전기에너지를 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안한 하이브리드 파력발전방법은 공진영역에서 더 많은 전기에너지를 얻을 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 공진영역을 벗어난 대역에서도 안정적으로 발전할 수 있는 장점을 가짐을 알 수 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 실버세대를 대상으로 하는 그림동화책의 필요성과 특성을 학문적 고찰을 통해 실버세대를 위한 그림동화책의 디자인적 특성들을 실증적으로 제시한 것이다. 고령화 현상과 문헌정보학, 교육학, 문학치료학 등 문헌자료의 분석결과를 통해 그림동화책은 실버세대들의 심신건강에 도움이 된다는 결과를 얻게 되었지만 실버세대를 위한 동화책은 수요에 비해 부족한 것이 현실이다. 그러므로 실버세대를 위한 동화책 연구개발에 대한 이론적 근거가 절실하게 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 실버세대의 시각기관, 몸 기능, 심리적 요인 등 특성을 반영한 그림동화책의 개발이 필요함을 제언하면서 동시에 실버세대를 위한 동화책을 디자인 할 때 그림의 특징 요소 중 스토리내용, 그림(표현방법, 크기, 레이아웃, 구도, 색채), 타이포 등에서 실버세대들의 독서 장애에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 실버세대의 특성에 맞춰진 세심한 주의가 필요함을 제시하였다. 또한 향후에는 실버세대를 대상으로 한 실증분석을 통해 실버세대를 위한 그림동화책의 구성에 적합한 디자인적 특성이 입체적인 분석 데이터를 연구함에 있어 선행 자료의 일부분으로 활용되길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to observe the elements of Japanese popular culture portrayed in Korean new generation fashion at the current point of time, when Japanese popular culture is first being opened to Korea. And the another purpose is to look into the fashion consciousness of them, which is made up of these aspects. The new generation plays the leading role in further excelling the culture of our society. They are the generation of sense and sensibility, the generation of "me", the generation of information, and the generation of individuality. Even before Japanese popular culture was officially opened, the new generation was already accepting fashion, comics and animation, video games, music, broadcasting, food, etc. The Japanese cultural elements that show most in Korean fashion are street fashion and the fashion of celebrities. These are mostly brought in by fashion magazines, the internet, satellite TV, the new media of cable TV, and street shops. The aspects of Japanese popular culture in Korean new generation fashion are many and varied. Such examples in fashion are : vintage style, school-girl style, sexy causal style, black coordination, soft avant-garde style. It can be said that the fashion consciousness of Korean new generation could be placed in the following order. First, the variety of fashion. Next, the internationalism of fashion. Third, the information of fashion, and last, the play value of fashion. Interest has peaked in Japanese culture after the official opening, and this study has explored the very same aspects which can be seen in Korean new generation fashion. This study was meant to help make a responsible and sturdy new generation fashion culture which can help face the new millennium.
