XML is being accepted as a standard for the next generation web documents, as it enables to extend the document structures. However, general users have difficulties in writing valid and well-formed XML documents, since the documents should satisfy the grammatical constraints of XML. In this paper, we present a syntax-directed XML document editor which will ease users in writing valid XML documents. The editor will help users, and increase productivity in writing XML documents.

XML is standard of web document, and is used in language for document data exchange. XML document is used as example that change existing document to XML or makes new document by XML increases and XML search system to search XML document efficiently accordingly is requiring. This paper describes design and implementation of query processing system for translating XML elements and data between XML documents and relational database and consist of XML to DB processor, DB to XML processor and XML document management processor. Through this, described for design and embodiment of efficient XML document search system of JAVA base using XQL that is proposed in language of quality of XML document.

An XML document processor should process the XML documents according to their purposes and semantics. It is very hard to automatically generate an XML document processor with DTD, because it does not provide the semantic information. In this paper, we introduce an XML document processor generator and a method for specifying semantics using the object-oriented attribute grammar. The XML document processor generator will reduce costs and efforts in developing XML document processors.

XML은 인터넷 상에서의 표준 데이터 형식으로 XML 데이터에 대한 구조적 제약 조건들은 DTD나 XML Schema에 정의한다. XML Schema에 유효한 XML 문서는 XML Schema에 정의된 모든 구조적 제약 조건들을 만족해야 하며, 갱신이 발생한 후에도 대응되는 XML Schema에 대해 유효함이 보장되어야 한다. 본 연구는 DBMS에 저장되어 있는 XML Schema에 대해 유효한 XML 데이터를 갱신 할 때 필요한 효율적인 유효 검증 기법을 제안한다. 이 유효 검증 기법에서는 유효 검증 범위를 갱신과 관련된 영역에 한정시키고 갱신 이전에 유효 검증을 수행하여 유효 여부를 판단한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 유효 검증을 위한 유효 검증 제약 조건들과 XML Schema문서의 특성을 분석하여 유효 검증 시 필요한 스키마 정보만을 효율적으로 추출할 수 있는 XML Schema 저장 방법 및 그에 따른 스키마 정보 추출 방법을 제안하고 실험을 통해 그 성능을 보인다.

최근 인터넷에서 문서 포맷의 기준으로 XML이 각광을 받고 있으며 XML schema를 통하여 DTD에서는 할 수 없었던 부분을 할 수 있게 되었다. 또한 e-카탈로그에서 XML 문서의 사용이 급증하면서 XML 문서의 설계가 점차 복잡해지고 XML schema 설계가 DTD보다 한층 더 복잡하게 되었기 때문에 XML schema 모델링이 중요한 문제로 대두 되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 복잡한 XML 문서를 체계적이고 구조화하기 위하여 XML 문서를 UML로 설계하고 UML 모델링 정보를 변질과 누락 없이 추출하기 위하여 REI를 이용하여 UML 모델링 정보를 추출하여 XML로 변환하였다.

미디에이터 기반의 데이터베이스 통합 방법론에서 랩퍼는 미디에이터에게 지역 데이터베이스의 스키마들 전달해야 한다. 여기서는 지역 데이터베이스의 스키마를 XML 스키마로 변환하여 미디에이터에게 전달하는 랩퍼 시스템에서의 스키마 관리기에 대하여 논한다. 이를 위하여 관계형 모델의 지역 데이터베이스에서, 지역 데이터베이스 스키마를 XML 스키마로 변환할 때 고려할 사항을 논한다 그리고 XML 질의어인 XQuery로 XML 뷰 정의 언어를 사용할 때, XQuery로 표현된 XML 뷰를 XML Schema로 표현된 XML 스키마로 변환하는 방법을 제시한다.

2003년 UN이 공식 표준 언어로 XML(extensblle Markup Language)을 승인함으로써 전자거래를 위한 정보검색과 데이터 전송에 XML의 활용도가 증가하고 있으며, 전자거래의 표준으로 그 중요성이 논아지고 있다. 이처럼 XML이 광범위하게 이용됨에 따라 XML 보안과 관련된 여러 정책들이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 보안 정책들 중에서 XML 서명 기법들에 대해서 살펴보고, 이러한 XML 서명 기법에 TSP(Time Stamping Protocol)를 제공할 수 있는 효율적인 기법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 TSP가 제공된 XML 서명기법에서는 사용자의 서명이 추가된 기법으로 기존의 XML 서명 기법과 비교하여 효율적인 특성을 가진다.

관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 XML 문서로 추출하기 위해서는 데이블에 저장된 데이타를 XML 문서 형식에 맞는 계층적인 관계를 가지도록 구조화하는 과정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이타베이스를 사용하는 XML 저장 및 검색 시스템인 eXDM(embedded XML Database Management System)의 내부에서 구현한 XML 문서 추출 서브시스템에 대하여 기술한다. 이 시스템은 XML 문서에 대한 질의(XQuery)의 RETURN 절과 SORTBY 절을 분석하여, 관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 구조화하여 계층적인 구조를 가지는 XML 문서 형태로 추출한다.

XML이 표준화 제정될 당시 XML문서의 구조를 정의하기 위해 DTD를 사용하였다 DTD는 XML의 전신인 SGML에서부터 사용되어 왔으며 여러 훌륭한 기능을 지원하고있다. 그러나 DTD는 그 고유의 형식으로 이루어져있어 XML 개발자는 XML구문분석기 이외에 DTD 구문분석기를 별도로 개발하여야하고, DTD는 지원하는 데이터 형식에 제한이 있으며, 데이터 값의 범위 등을 설정할 수 없어 XML 문서의 유효성 검사에 제한이 많다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 W3C에서는 XMLSchema를 제정하였다. DTD의 구문을 XML Schema로 모델링하였고, XML 문서에서 XML스키마를 적용하기 위한 도구와 DTD의 XMLSchema변환을 효과적으로 생성할 수 있는 GUI기반 XMLSchema Tool을 설계, 구현하였다.

Nowadays an information exchange on XML such as B2B electronic commerce is spreading. Therefore the systematic and stable management mechanism for storing the exchanged information is needed. For this goal there are many research activities for connection between XML application and database. Accordingly, A unified modeling methodology need to store the XML file on the variety database. In this paper, we propose a unified design methodology for XML applications based on variety databases using UML. To this goal, first we introduce a XML modeling methodology to design W3C XML schema using UML and second we propose data modeling methodology for object-relational database schema, object oriented database an schema and relational database schema to store efficiently XML data in databases.
