  • In this paper, XML form generator is designed and implemented on the basis of e-business's DTD (Document Type Definition) document. Rapid evolving for internet services and information infrastructure give many impacts on the e-business, it need to make a new kinds of web-based or electronic-based document formats for e-business transaction trading. In current situations, there are many kinds of document formats on conventional business documents for each companies. And, it has many problems on the aspects of the document reusability and cost to support interoperability between documents for the trading partners. To solve this interoperability of documents, the constructed XML form generator is changing XML form document into HTML (HyperText Markup Language) based web document by XSLT. And it also generates XML business message validating for e-Business DTD by user Inputs.

  • According to increasing requirements in embedded systems. embedded software has been more complicated then before. a optimum software is difficult in embedded system. software developer make a difficult optimum software. this paper suggests a software profiling tool with which a software developer can easily profiling the embedded system software in cross-development environments. the suggested tool is designed based on host/target architecture. this tool insert program source for make profiling log to target program. a target program executed in target system. a target system communicate profiling log to host system. this tool in host system analyze profiling log data. and make a XML of profiling log and a profiling report. a profiling report is graphic viewer based GUI. a target system in this tool needs a few computing power. and XSLT can conversion of profile log XML to other format data. and suggested tool based on eclipse plug-in, therefore developer can use operates in eclipse.

  • Recently, XML has been widely used as a standard for a data exchange, and there has emerged the tendency that the size of XML document becomes larger. The data transfer can cause problems due to the increase in traffic, especially when a massive data such as Data Warehouse is being collected and analyzed. Therefore, an XMDR wrapper can solve this problem since it analyzes the tree structures of XML Schema, regenerates XML Schema using the analyzed tree structures, and sends it to each station with an XMDR Query. XML documents which are returned as an outcome encode XML tags according to XML Schema, and send standardized messages. As the formalized XML documents decrease network traffic and comprise XML class information, they are efficient for extraction, conversion, and alignment of data. In addition, they are efficient for the conversion process through XSLT, too, as they have standardized forms. In this paper we profuse a method in which XML Schema and XMDR_Query sent to each station are generated through XMDR(extended Meta-Data Registry) and the generation of products and XML conversion occur in each station wrapper.

  • In a pervasive environment, there are various applications as much as connections of various devices. In this computing environment, XML is the most suitable data representation method. XML is able to transform data for other application areas using XSLT. XML is text-based, the file size of XML document is bigger than binary data file. Therefore, XML has a disadvantage that it is hard to deal with XML in a pervasive environment. In this paper, we survey encoding methods of XML documents, and then we propose a transform method that transforms an encoded EXI format XML document into an EXI format XML document suited for other applications. Among various applications, we present a system that transforms an EXI format XHTML document into an VoiceXML document. This system can improve reusability of EXI format XML documents in a pervasive environment and it is expected to contributes utilization of EXI format XML documents.

  • 본 논문은 XML 문서의 내용 및 구조 정보를 XSL 스타일시트(stylesheet)의 포맷팅(formatting) 정보를 적용하여 표현하는 포매팅 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 본 시스템은 XML 문서를 XSLT(XSL Transformations) 및 Xpath(XML Path Language)를 이용하여 문서를 변환하고, XSL-fo(XSL Formatting Objects)를 적용하여 포맷팅을 지정하는 XML 문서 표현 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이 XML 문서 표현 시스템은 웹 표준화 기구인 W3C에서 제안하는 XSL 포매팅 처리에 대한 구성을 기반으로 구현함으로써 표준화에 입각한 처리시스템으로써 변화에 능동적으로 대처 가증하고 모듈화 되어 있어 부분적인 수정 및 대체가 가능하도록 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 IBM 호환 PC에서 동작하며, 운영체제는 Windows 2000 환경에서 Visual C++6.0을 사용하여 개발하였다.

XML-Based Network Management for IP Networks

  • XML-based network management, which applies XML technologies to network management, has been proposed as an alternative to existing network management. The use of XML in network management offers many advantages. However, most existing network devices are already embedded with simple network management protocol (SNMP) agents and managed by SNMP managers. For integrated network management, we present the architectures of an XML-based manager, an XML-based agent, and an XML/SNMP gateway for legacy SNMP agents. We describe our experience of developing an XML-based network management system (XNMS), XML-based agent, and an XML/SNMP gateway. We also verify the effectiveness of our XML-based agent and XML/SNMP gateway through performance tests. Our experience with developing XNMS and XML-based agents can be used as a guideline for development of XML-based management systems that fully take advantage of the strengths of XML technologies.

A Method for Automatic Generation of OWL-S Service Ontology

  • We present in this paper the methodology for automatic generation of OWL-S service model ontology along with the results and issues. First, we extract information related to atomic services and their properties such as IOPE from the UML class diagram, and retrieve information related to the composition of services from the UML state-chart diagram. Then, the XSLT applications utilize the acquired information to generate the OWL-S service model ontology through the predefined mappings between OWL-S constructs for composite services and UML state-chart primitives. For the justification of generated service ontology, several validation checks are performed. Our service ontology generation method is general and fully automatic, as well as effective, in that it is achieved in an environment familiar to developers, and information needed to generate service ontology is provided necessarily during service development. It is also noticeable to facilitate representing the condition with GUI rather than a complex language such as OCL.

  • 기업의 웹사이트가 비즈니스의 중요한 부분으로 정착되면서 급격히 증가한 웹사이트의 컨텐트를 관리하기 위한 CMS의 필요성이 급증하였다. 그러나 CMS의 출판은 기존의 출판 방식과 비교하여 추가적인 처리과정으로 인한 성능 저하의 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 기반 CMS의 효율적인 동적 웹 컨텐트 출판을 지원하기 위하여 XML 기반의 CMS의 출판에서 필요한 컨텐트 저장소로부터 XML 객체의 추출과 XSLT를 이용한 HTML 변환의 추가적인 처리과정을 전처리하여 컨텐트 컴포넌트를 생성 및 캐싱함으로써 효율적인 출판을 지원하고, 동적 컨텐트 캐싱의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 URL 패턴을 이용한 페이지와 컴포넌트의 그룹화 관리를 지원하는 출판 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 OWL-S 서비스 온톨로지를 자동으로 생성하는 방법에 대한 연구결과를 제공한다. 자동생성을 위하여 UML 클래스 다이어그램 및 상태차트 다이어그램을 XMI 파일들로 변환한 후 원자 서비스 및 속성들에 대한 정보와 복합 서비스 조합에 대한 정보를 각각 추출한다. 추출된 정보는 UML 상태차트 다이어그램 구성 요소들과 OWL-S 복합 서비스를 위한 구조물들 사이의 매핑 규칙들을 통하여 XSLT 응용에서 OWL-S 서비스 모델 온톨로지를 자동으로 생성시키는데 사용된다. 생성된 온톨로지의 타당성 검증을 위해서 이용 가능한 여럿의 유효성 검사를 수행하였다. 우리의 방법론은 자동적, 효과적 및 일반적일 뿐만 아니라 서비스 온톨로지 생성자인 개발자들에게 매우 친숙한 환경에서 수행된다는 장점들을 가진다.

  • 최근 인터넷과 이동통신이 결합된 무선휴대단말기에서 인터넷의 접속을 가능하게 하여주는 모바일 서비스가 등장하게 되었으며, 성장단계의 새로운 차세대 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 시대로 진입하게 되었다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 장치들은 애플리케이션 및 인터넷을 통한 서비스에 연결되지 않으면 모든 잠재력을 발휘하지 못한다. 초기의 웹 애플리케이션들이 사용되기 시작되었을 때는 이러한 환경을 예측하지 못했으며, 현재는 기존의 웹 애플리케이션을 유비쿼터스 환경에서 활용의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 이런 문제점을 성취하기 위한 한 가지 접근법이 공통된 애플리케이션의 컨텐츠 변환이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 XML과 XSLT 기반의 접근방식의 켄텐츠 변환을 제안 구현하며, 유비쿼터스 환경에 맞는 유무선 웹 애플리케이션을 제공한다.
