Flood Inundation Analysis using XP-SWMM Model in Urban Area (XP-SWMM 모형을 적용한 도시지역의 침수해석)

  • The flood damage shows different types in natural river watershed and in urban drainage watershed. In recent, increasing of the impervious area gives rise to short concentration time and high peak discharge comparing with natural watershed and it is a cause of urban flood damage. In this paper, we use a XP-SWMM model developed based on EPA-SWMM version for analyzing the inundation area, inundation depth and inundation area considering building effect. The two events(2005.06, 2005.07) has been used for the validation of model. HEC-RAS model has been applied for simulation of changing water level, and the results has been used for calculating area of the inundation. The observed inundation area(21.41 ha) in August, 1998 was in good agreement with the simulated value(23.45 ha) of XPSWMM model. An influence of inundation area considering building effects has been analized by the DTM of XP-SWMM model.

The XP-table: Runtime-efficient Region-based Structure for Collective Evaluation of Multiple Continuous XPath Queries (The XP-table: 다중 연속 XPath 질의의 집단 처리를 위한 실행시간 효율적인 영역 기반 구조체)

  • One of the primary issues confronting XML message brokers is the difficulty associated with processing a large set of continuous XPath queries over incoming XML seams. This paper proposes a novel system designed to present an effective solution to this problem. The proposed system transforms multiple XPath queries before their run-time into a new region-based data structure, called an XP-table, by sharing their common constraints. An XP-table is matched with a stream relation (SR) transformed from a target XML stream by a SAX parser. This arrangement is intended to minimize the runtime workload of continuous query processing. Also, system performance is estimated and verified through a variety of experiments, including comparisons with previous approaches such as YFilter and LazyDFA. The proposed system is practically linear- scalable and stable for evaluating a set of XPath queries in a continuous and timely fashion.

Conv-XP Pruning of CNN Suitable for Accelerator (가속 회로에 적합한 CNN의 Conv-XP 가지치기)

  • Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) show high performance in the computer vision, but they require an enormous amount of operations, making them unsuitable for some resource- or energy-starving environments like the embedded environments. To overcome this problem, there have been much research on accelerators or pruning of CNNs. The previous pruning schemes have not considered the architecture of CNN accelerators, so the accelerators for the pruned CNNs have some inefficiency. This paper proposes a new pruning scheme, Conv-XP, which considers the architecture of CNN accelerators. In Conv-XP, the pruning is performed following the 'X' or '+' shape. The Conv-XP scheme induces a simple architecture of the CNN accelerators. The experimental results show that the Conv-XP scheme does not degrade the accuracy of CNNs, and that the accelerator area can be reduced by 12.8%.

  • Process model is an integral part of software industry. Different process models are used now a days in the industry for different software projects. Process models need to be tailored to address some specific project needs. Agile models are considered as the most widely used process models nowadays. They have distinctive features and the ability to address the dynamic needs of today's software development. Extreme programming (XP) is one of the extensively used agile process model especially for small projects. Many researchers have tried to mold XP to overcome its shortcomings and for better working in specific scenarios. Therefore, many customized versions of XP process model are available today. In this paper, we are going to analyze the latest customizations of XP. For this purpose, a systematic literature review is conducted on studies published from 2012 till 2018 in renowned online search libraries. This comprehensive review highlights the purpose of customizations, along with the areas in which customizations are made, and phases & practices which are being customized. This work will serve the researchers to discover the modern versions of XP process model as well as will provide a baseline for future directions for customizations.

Clinical association between serum cholesterol level and the size of xanthelasma palpebrarum

  • Background: Xanthelasma palpebrarum (XP) is a benign periorbital lesion. The relationship between xanthelasma lesion size and serum cholesterol levels has been poorly studied. In this study, we investigated this relationship in the context of the clinical etiology of XP. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records and pathology reports of all patients treated for XP at our hospital between June 2014 and June 2021; the data were used to analyze lesion size, underlying disease, serum cholesterol, and disease recurrence. Results: The mean values for patient age, serum cholesterol, and lesion size were 53.0 years, 235.0 mg/dL, and 69.2 mm2, respectively. XP mainly occurred in women (64.7%); furthermore, the incidence of XP and lesion size was greatest among patients in their 5th decade of life (41.2%). There was no statistically significant relationship between xanthelasma lesion size and serum cholesterol level. Conclusion: This study compared lesion size with various clinical features in XP patients. In patients who underwent surgery for XP, serum cholesterol levels tended to be higher than those in the general population. However, the trend between the size of XP and serum cholesterol level was unclear. Therefore, if a patient with XP visits the hospital for surgery, it is recommended to check the lipid profile to confirm underlying dyslipidemia regardless of the size.

  • Recently, runoff characteristics of urban area are changing because of the increase of impervious area by rapid increasing of population and industrialization, urbanization. It needs to extract the accurate topological and hydrological parameters of watersheds in order to manage water resource efficiently. In this paper, rainfall-runoff analysis in An-Yang stream basin was made using GIS(Geographic Information System) and XP-SWMM(Export Stormwater and Wastewater Management Model). The basin was divided into 13 sub-basins using GIS. The area, slope, width of each subcatchment and length, slop of each stream reach were acquired from topographic maps, and imperviousness rate, land use types, infiltration capacities of each subcatchment from land use maps and soil maps using GIS. We gave th runoff management method of urbanization area us ing XP-SWMM.

윈도우 비스타 보안기술 분석 : 포렌식 관점을 중심으로

  • 마이크로소프트(MS)의 윈도우 비스타(Vista, 이하 비스타)는 윈도우 XP의 뒤를 잇는 버전으로 06년 11월말 기업용이 출시되었고 2007년 1일 31일 개인사용자용이 출시되었다. 비스타는 이전 버전인 윈도우 XP에 비하여 한층 강화된 보안기능을 탑재하고 있어 인터넷 사용시 악성코드 감염 등의 위험이 많이 줄어들 것으로 예측되고 있다. 그러나 비스타에서는 하드디스크 전체를 암호화 할 수 있는 BitLocker 기능 등이 추가되어 포렌식의 관점에서 보면 기존 XP와 달라진 점이 다수 존재한다. 본고에서는 기존 XP와 비교하여 비스타에서 변경된 부분을 포렌식 관점을 중심으로 기술하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 최근 기상이변에 따른 집중호우에 의해 도시지역에서 빈번히 발생하고 있는 침수피해를 XP-SWMM모형을 이용하여 침수해석을 수행한 것으로서, 이를 위해 대상유역의 강우분석을 선수행하고 하천 외수위 상승에 따른 배수구역의 10년, 20년, 30년, 50년 설계빈도별 침수해석을 실시하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 과거 하천 외수위 변화에 따른 내수배제 불량으로 인한 침수피해가 일어난 지역을 산정하고, 도시유역의 강우-유출해석과 하수관거 해석을 실시한다. 이를위해 XP-SWMM 모형을 이용하여 하수관망 시스템과 하천 외수를 연계 해석하여 장래 하천의 빈도별 홍수량에 대한 침수가능 여부를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 대상유역 면적은 62.35ha, 총 관로연장 12,741m, 소유역 60개, 하수관로 175개로 모형을 구성 하였고, 유출해석결과 설계빈도 50년의 임계지속시간은 90분, 총 침수량은 $15,362m^3$, 침수면적은 $65,384m^2$였으며, 최대 침수심은 0.81m인것으로 산정되었다. 침수피해 경감효과로는 245세대, 585명의 피해경감 효과가 있을 것으로 분석 되었다.

  • 최근 이상기후로 인해 우리나라의 강수량과 집중호우가 증가하고 있으며, 태풍의 빈도는 낮아졌지만 태풍의 강도가 높아지는 추세를 보이고 있다. 지난 2002년 태풍 '루사', 2003년 태풍 '매미', 2006년 태풍 '에위니아' 그리고 2016년 태풍 '차바' 등에 의해 울산지역에서는 집중호우로 인한 많은 인명과 재산피해가 발생하였다. 2016년 태풍 '차바' 당시 300년 빈도를 초과하는 시간당 104.2mm의 강우가 발생했으며, 울산 시가지를 비롯한 전역에 막대한 침수피해가 발생하였다. 본 연구에서는 2차원 도시유출모형인 XP-SWMM모형을 이용하여 2016년 태풍 '차바' 당시에 울산 시가지 중심인 우정혁신도시를 비롯한 침수가 발생한 태화 우정시장 일대에 대한 침수원인 분석을 하였다. XP-SWMM모형을 이용하여 우수관거에 흐르는 홍수수문곡선을 산정하고 관거의 용량을 초과하여 범람한 유량은 2D 모델링을 통하여 침수분석을 하였다. 침수분석결과는 연구지역의 실제 침수심 및 CCTV자료 분석을 통한 침수심과 비교하였다.
