전국의 167개 시,도에 있는 교육과학연구원에서는 지역의 교사들이 개발한 각종 멀티미디어 교육 자료를 웹 서비스를 통해 전국의 교사들에게 제공하고 있다. 또한 한국교육학술정보원과 한국교육과정평가원에서도 교육 자료를 개발하고, 더불어 전국의 교육과학연구원에서 제공하는 교육 자료를 통합하려는 계획을 세우고 있다. 그 첫 출발점이 바로 2001년 개발된 한국교육학술정보원의 국가표준 교육정보 메타데이터 형식과 전국의 교육청이 작성하고 있는 교육자료 메타데이터이다. 이 메타데이터를 통해 전국의 교육 자료가 통합되어 서비스될 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 각 시도별로 작성된 메타데이터를 어떻게 통합하고 관리하느냐의 문제는 전국의 교육 자료를 통합하여 서비스하는데 있어, 먼저 해결해야 될 중요한 문제이다. 따라서 본 연구는 분산되어 있는 각 시도의 교육정보 메타데이터를 통합하여 서비스하는 방법으로 XML 웹 서비스 방법과 JDBC를 도입한 3 단계 (-ter) 시스템을 제안해 보았다. 제안된 두 방법을 MS SQL Server 2000과 Oracle 9i에 각각 적용하여 성능평가 한 결과 두 방법이 서로 비슷한 응답시간을 보였다. 따라서 XML 형태의 메타데이터를 검색하는 방법으로 기존의 JDBC를 사용하는 것 이외에 웹 서비스를 이용하는 방법도 고려해 볼 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.

According as IT environment changes from client/server system to the open system based on web service technologies, the exchange of data and services between independent applications and service servers in web environment is observed Recently. In this points, it is necessary that Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Imagery Information Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems based on the location and geometry information are inter-related each other. But, the inter-relation of these systems is very difficult because of the closed system architecture, different information format, and the absence of interoperability technologies. In this Paper, we describe 4S integration system based web service technologies that accept the international standard as WFS, WCS, WRS of OGC (OpenGIS Consortium) and UDDI, SOAP, WSDL of W3C. In detail, we study the system architecture design and implementation of traffic information service, routing service, and tracing service. These services are consisting of the data schema based on XML and GML, various functions of each layered service, each server platform, and web server. Specially, we represent that GML is being applied to a wide range of location-based services, telematics, and intelligent transportation

This paper describes a message model based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language) to present real-time data from sensors and instruments at manufacturing processes for web service. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is inadequate for describing real-time data from process control plants while it is suitable for displaying non-real-time multimedia data on web. For XML-based web service of process data, XML format for the data presentation was proposed after investigating data of various instruments at steel-making plants. Considering transmission delay inevitably caused from increased message length and processing delay from transformation of raw data into defined format, which was critical for operation of a real-time system, its performance was evaluated by simulation. In the simulation, we assumed two implementation models for conducting the transformation function. In one model, transformation was done at an SCC (Supervisory Control Computer) after receiving real-time data from instruments. In the other model, transformation had been carried out at instruments before the data were transmitted to the SCC. Various tests had been conducted under different conditions of offered loads and data lengths and their results were described.

Collaborative product commerce (CPC) is a newly emerging technology to support inter-enterprise collaboration through the product life-cycle. From the IT point of view, CPC is software technology to integrate product, process and resources of different enterprises using Web technologies. In this paper, we introduce a CPC framework for integrating product information across enterprises, which being developed as a part of the CPC project by ETRI. The product metadata represented by XML schema, which is compatible with ISO STEP PDM Schema standard, is presented to semantically and schematically integrate distributed product information. The web services technologies are discussed to support the interoperability of application systems related to the product development, such as CAD and PDM, where most of these applications run in a distributed environment. Finally, we implement the frame-work to integrate distributed product information.

본 연구에서는 지금까지의 GUI 중심의 웹 어플리케이션을 VUI 중심의 웹 어플리케이션으로 구현하기 위한 음성 인식 항공 정보 시스템을 설계 구현하였다. 이러한 ASP(Active Solver Page)로써 구현한 윈도우 서버 기반에서 운용되는 시스템에 관한 Web 관련 ASR(Automatic Speech Recognition)연구가 최근 상당한 연구가 이루어지고 있지만 ASP의 웹과의 제한성으로 인해 시스템의 속도면, 이식성 등에서 제약을 가져왔다. 이와 같은 제약성을 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 음성 정보 및 동적 VoiceXML을 구현하는 자바 빈즈(JAVA Beans) 컴포넌트 구조에 대해서 연구하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 Remote An(Abstract Windows Toolkit)기술을 이용하여 GUI 및 VUI 에서의 음성 및 그래픽 정보를 동시에 전달 가능하게 하는 Voice 웹 브라우징의 가능성을 확인하였다.

서비스 지향 아키텍처(SOA)는 최근 IT환경에서 급격한 성장을 하고 있다. 거대하고 복잡한 분산 환경에서 재빠른 변화에 적용하기위해 SOA를 기반으로 한 인프라 구축을 기업에서 많은 관심을 가지게 되었기 때문이다. SOA는 인터페이스와 서비스간의 계약을 통하여 서로 다른 기능을 단위로 하는 응용프로그램이 상호 연관성을 가지는 컴포넌트 모델이다. 본 논문에서는 SOA와 핵심 웹서비스 표준에 관계된 개념을 웹서비스에 적용하기 위한 아키텍처를 설계하고, 그 내용에 따라 SOA를 기본으로 한 웹 서비스 시스템을 모델링 한다. 웹서비스는 XML과 SOAP를 기본으로 도입하여, 응용프로그램과 비즈니스 서비스의 설계를 구현한다. 이렇게 설계된 SOA기반의 웹서비스를 통하여 상호 운영성, 재 사용성, 확장성 및 유연한 비즈니스 프로세스 처리와 같은 SOA의 각 특징이 어떻게 적용되는지 확인하고, 서비스 모델 프로세스에 대한 방법과 SOA기반의 웹서비스의 아키텍처 설계방법을 통하여, 서비스 간의 느슨한 결합(Loose Coupling)으로 중립성을 유지하는 웹 서비스 모델링을 제시한다.

When SOAP message in Web Services has sensitive and important data, it is necessary to protect the message from XML rewriting attacks. These attacks create a foundation for typical faults in SOAP message and make it vulnerable to use in Web Service environment. Currently, Web Services middleware offers limited functions to detect these faults and possibly fix them. In this paper, we propose a Security Description Assistance which identifies and fixes typical faults in SOAP messages. Our system adapts simulation-based approach, which allows system to self-optimize its performance in different conditions and thus improve the reliability of Web Services.

최근 정보기술 발전과 컴퓨터의 고성능화에 따라 인터넷과 지리정보 시스템(GIS: Geographic Information System)을 연동하여 많은 웹사이트에서 지도정보 및 POI(Point of Interest)서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 Web GIS는 시스템 구축이나 서비스 제공방법, 지도표현 형식에 있어 특정 시스템이나 환경에 의존적이며 제약이 많이 있다. 또한 무선인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 이동 환경에서 현재 위치정보를 적용한 실시간 서비스를 제공받기 원하는 사용자가 급증하고 있는 시점에서 이러한 서비스는 PDA와 같은 이동클라이언트에 LBS(Location Based Service)로 제공될 수 있어야한다. 본 논문에서는 국립지리원의 표준 지도형식인 DXF 수치지도를 이용하여 모바일 웹 서비스가 가능한 GIS를 구축하였다. 그리고 이를 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)에서 권고한 벡터 방식의 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) 포맷의 지도로 표현하고, XML 웹 서비스를 이용한 개방형 서비스로 제공하였다. 또한 이동클라이언트인 PDA에 GPS수신기를 확장하여 이동환경에서 위치정보를 획득하여 모바일을 위한 실시간 위치기반 웹지도 서비스를 설계하고 서버기반 G15 컴퓨팅 환경을 실용적으로 구현하였다.

웹과 네트웍의 눈부신 발전은 정보의 유통에 큰 역할을 담당하게 되었다. OGC에서는 XML을 GIS 분야에 도입한 GML을 개발하였고, GML을 서비스하기 위한 웹 서비스 구현 사양들을 발표하였다. 이는 지리정보를 웹에서 공유할 수 있는 기술이므로 지리정보유통측면에서 활발히 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 지리정보유통센터가 실시간 데이터 서비스를 할 수 있도록 GML을 적용하는 방안을 모색하고자 한다 이는 가변적인 지리정보를 유통하는데 있어서 자료의 최신성을 유지할 수 있는 방안이면서 플랫폼에 상관없는 다양한 응용프로그램의 개발을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있는 방안이기도 하다. 또한, 이질적인 포맷을 가진 지리정보의 상호운용이라는 문제점도 해결할 수 있다. 현재 운영되고 있는 국가지리정보유통망에 이러한 GML 웹 서비스를 적용하기 위해 지리정보유통망 아키텍처의 분석, GML 사양 및 GML 웹 서비스들을 분석하였고, 문제점 분석 및 해결을 위한 모의 시스템을 구축하였다.

본 논문에서는 다양한 종류의 서비스 지원이 가능하며, PC, 웹, 모바일 환경을 연동 할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 XML 기반 글로벌 P2P 엔진을 제안하고 이에 대한 설계 및 구현 경험을 소개한다. 제안된 P2P 엔진은 모든 메시지 교환 시 텍스트 기반의 XML을 사용함으로써 웹 연동 및 이기종간 데이터 교환이 가능하며, 다중 수준의 보안레벨과 여러 보안 알고리즘을 적용할 수 있는 기능도 제공한다. 이를 위하여 제안된 시스템은 모든 메시지를 스케줄링, 필터링 하는 Message Dispatcher, 보안 기능을 지원하는 보안 관리자와 전송을 담당하는 전송 관리자를 포함하는 SecureNet Manager, 피어를 검색하여 피어 네트워크 환경을 구성하는 Discovery Manager, 그리고 XML 문서처리 기능을 포함하는 데이터 관리자인 Repository Manager 모듈로 구성되어있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 시스템의 가용성 평가를 위해 커뮤니케이션 서비스인 채팅과 협업 중 공동 저작 도구로서 화이트보드 그리고 파일 공유서비스를 각각 구현하고, 기존의 타 시스템과의 성능 비교 평가를 하였다.
