인터넷의 폭발적인 성장으로 기존의 EDI를 인터넷상에서 적용하기위해 웹 EDI, Open EDI, XML/EDI 등의 기술이 등장하였다. 이중 XML/EDI 기술은 기존 EDI 시스템의 여러 가지 단점을 해결 할수 있으므로 향후 B2B 전자상거래에 핵심적인 프레임워크가 될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML/EDI 시스템을 구축하기 위해 기존의 EDI 문서를 XML로 변환하는데 필요한 XML Schemafmf 자동적으로 생성하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 방법을 소개한다. EDI 메시지에 대한 XML Schema를 작성하기 위해서는 EDI 뿐만 아니라 XML에 대한 전문지식이 필요하고 , 반복적이고 오류가 발생하기 쉬운 과정을 거쳐야한다. 그러나 본 논문에서 구현한 시스템은 입력된 EDI 메시지를 바탕으로 XML S초듬 르 자동으로 생성해주므로 XML/EDI 시스템을 구축할 때 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템을 사용하면 상당한 시간과 비용을 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

This thesis verifying mutual utilization between Traditional EDI and internet based XML/EDI systems with the fusion of XML elements technology. Applying integrated XML/EDI transaction model, This thesis make a programmable experiment between Traditional EDI and internet based XML/EDI systems with objects the remote ordering systems, the result between traditional EDI and internet based XML/EDI systems can be easily mutually Utilized.

본 논문에서 기존의 항만물류 EDI가 가진 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 제시된 XML/EDI에 대해 살펴보고, 항만 물류에 XML/EDI를 적용하기 위해 기존의 EDI 메시지를 처리하기 위한 브라우저를 개발한다. XML 문서의 논리적인 구조를 표현하는 방식에 DTD(Document Type Definition)과 XML Schema가 있는데, 여기서는 다양한 데이터 타입를 가지고 있는 XML Schema를 사용해 EDI메시지의 구조를 표현한다. 또한 XML/EDI는 인터넷을 기반으로 하므로 웹을 통해 EDI 메시지를 교환하고자, 메시지 포맷으로 XML을 사용하며, 통신방법은 HTTP를 사용한다.

As the Internet spreads rapidly, the industrial structure is changing to a new paradigm. The previous EDI system was asked to be changed and WEB EDI, E-Mail EDI, FTP EDI etc. based on the internet have appeared. Recently, the XML/EDI which is based on XML documents has appeared. EDI system has to assure a safe exchange between senders and receivers. But, the internet has security problems because it uses a open TCP/IP protocol. In this paper, we will propose an XML/EDI system with XML Signature.

The XML/EDI consider advantages and disadvantages of VAN/EDI and EDI which based on the internet. Also, EDI system has to assure a safe exchange between sender and receiver. But, the internet has security problems because it uses a open TCP/IP protocol. Although there are many methods for security, it is being studied with XML concept. On this paper, we will suppose the XML/EDI system model with XML Signature, and build a procedure of electronic signature and delivery of document between sender and receiver.

XML/EDI is different from traditional EDI because it offers the framework necessary for electronic commerce and extends the scope of the traditional EDI which focuses on data transfer. Since existing EDI services are moved to Internet platform and again to Web platform, users can use EDI in the integrated environment without inconvenience of using different EDI softwares, which have their own configurations. This paper describes the overall design and implementation of a Web-based XML/EDI system that is a core component for the electronic commerce. The constructed XML/EDI system in this paper is comprised of document generation module, document storage module, document search module, document management module, template document management module and e-mail transmission module. Requirements and design goal of XML/EDI system are introduced, detailed functionalities of modules and design facts are described and execution and execution procedures of the implemented system are explained.

XML 문서의 논리적 구조를 표현하는 방법은 크게 DTD(Document Type Definition) 와 XML Schema 의두 가지 방식이 있으며,k XML Schema 는 기존의 DTD 에 비해 다양한 데이터 타입의 지원, namespace 지원, open-ended 데이터 모델의 지원등 여러 장점이 있기 때문에 항만 EDI 메시지를 XML Schema 로 변환하면 DTD 로 변환하는 것에 비해 높은 표현력과 다양한 부가적인 처리를 지원할 수 있다.

급변하는 기업환경에 적응하고 경쟁력을 강화하기 위하여 정보 통신기술을 활용하여 업무처리 시간 및 비용을 절감하고, 품질을 향상시키기 위한 대안으로 EDI 시스템이 출현하였으며, 그중 다양한 문서구조 표현이 가능한 XML을 활용한 XML/EDI 가 급속하게 확산되고 있다. EDI 시스템에서는 보안 서비스를 제공되고 있으며, 그 중 전자서명은 중요한 비중을 차지하고 있다. XML을 이용한 전자서명 기법이 W3C에서 제안되어 표준호가 진행되고 있으며 이는 EDI 시스템에서 유용하게 이용 가능한 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 XML 전자서명을 XML/EDI에 적용하여 시스템을 설계하였다.

현대 산업에 있어 그 비중이 급속히 증가하고 있는 물류산업의 효율적인 업무 처리와 국제 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 물류정보시스템 구축이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이는 컴퓨터 기술의 발달과 함께 시간, 인력 및 비용이 많이 소요되던 종래의 거래서류 처리업무를 EDI 로 처리함으로써 가능해졌다고 볼 수 있다. 거의 30 여년간 기업간 온라인 상거래의 기본 수단으로 이용되어 온 EDI 의 동적인 변화 대응부족이나 고가의 네트워크 유지비용 등의 문제점을 극복하기 위해 유연한 변화수용 능력과 뛰어난 확장성을 가진 차세대 웹 문서인 XML을 이용한 XML/EDI가 등장하였다. XML/EDI는 XML, EDI, Agent, Template, Repository 의 5 가지 요소로 구성되어 있으며, 다른 요소들의 기본이 되는 Repository 는 거래에 필요한XML/EDI 태그들의 정의 및 의미를 저장하고 있으며 거래 당사자들이 검색하여 볼 수 있는 인터넷상의 공유 디렉토리를 말한다. 본 연구는 XML/EDI 물류정보시스템 구축을 위한 전 단계로서 현재 개념 적으로만 정립되어 있는 Global XML Repository 의 구성에 관한 연구이다. 특히 KEDIFACT 표준을 따르는 물류 EDI 를 바탕으로 Global XML Repository 내의 구성요소들을 정의하고 체계적으로 분류하는 것을 중점적으로 연구하였다.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) has been used for business-to-business communication for almost a quarter of a century. Initial efforts Involved inter-company agreements on how to exchange commercial data, initially as information stored on tape and later as messages sent over dedicated data lines. To avoid having to use different protocols to move data between different companies, various Industry groups identified sets of data that could form the basis of individual agreements. The industry groups also sought to agree the format in which fields in such data sets were interchange so that a company only needed to develop one methodology for decoding information received without resource to human intervention. The XML/EDI specific components are built on top of existing standards for transmitting and processing XML-encoded data. These standards define shared features such as: the standard Internet file storage/naming and data transport mechanisms, file and message transfer formats, the syntax of data coded in XML, the way in which XML files can be validated by an XML parser or document object model generator, the way in which XSL presentation and data evaluation scripts can be associated with parsed objects, the use of rules and data management robots to manage application and repository interfaces.
