400km/h 전차선로에서 사전이도가 집전성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 시뮬레이션 및 시험 (Simulation and Testing of the Effect of Current Collection Performance According to Pre-sag in 400km/h Overhead Contact Lines)

  • 400km/h급 전차선로가 우리나라에 시범 부설되었다. 400km/h 심플 커티너리를 설계함에 있어서 사전이도를 어떻게 해야 하는가는 관심이 집중된 엔지니어링 항목이다. 사전이도는 일정 고속 대역에서 집전성능을 향상시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 400km/h 속도에서 효과에 대해서는 아직 정립되어있지 않다. 400km/h 커티너리에서 적절한 사전이도량을 파악하기 위하여 사전이도 0과 1/3000 조건에서 전차선과 팬터그래프 사이 동적 성능 예측 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 이 예측에 근거하여 400km/h 전차선로 설계에서는 0 사전이도를 채택하였다. 그리고 400km/h 전차선로 시범구간(28km)을 건설하면서 일부구간에 1/3000 사전이도 구간(약 1km)을 조성하였다. HEMU-430X 열차를 투입하여 사전이도 조성 구간을 포함하여 시범구간에서 접촉력 측정을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 사전이도 조성 구간과 사전이도가 없는 구간의 동적 성능(접촉력)에 대하여 기술하며 그 둘을 비교한다. 결론적으로 400km/h 전차선로에서 사전이도를 주지 않은 구간이 1/3000 사전이도 구간보다 양호한 동적(집전) 성능을 나타냄을 해석적 및 실험적 검토를 통하여 확인하였다.

  • In the testing stage of HEMU-400X(next Korean high speed train) developing project, maximum speed(400km/h) tests will be conducted. On present and near future conditions of the overhead contact lines, 400km/h is over the design speed criteria. The predictions of current collection performance including the percentage loss of contact(arcs level) parameter through dynamic interaction simulation of HEMU-400X maximum speed test run are described in this paper. Various simulations are conducted at the condition of two different contact wire tensions to draw the proper contact wire increasing values in the 400km/h test line under the available contact wire tension supporting condition of that line.

350km/h 본선 주행시험을 통한 한국형 고속열차 판토그라프의 접촉력 특성 평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Dynamic Characteristics of the Pantograph for the Korean High-Speed Train through 350km/h Trial Running Test)

  • The Korean High-Speed Train(HSR 350x) had been developed by through 'G7-R&D project' in 1996-2002, and has been testing and evaluating it's reliability on the high-speed line until now. A number of core equipments designed and developed by using domestic technologies were boarded on the HSR 350x. In order to verify the performance of HSR 350x and core equipments such as traction system, brake system and pantograph, sophisticated testing and evaluating procedures should be considered and applied. In this paper, the tested and analysed results about the dynamic characteristics of HSR 350x pantograph are introduced in a view point of the mean contact force and it's variation trend, criterion of current collection, and up-lifting of contact wire when the MSR 350x running up to 350 km/h. Through the test and evaluation, we verified that HSR 350x pantograph had an excellent current collection performance and good dynamic characteristics as it had been designed.

  • 판토그래프와 전차선간의 접촉력 특성은 차량에 대한 안정적 전원공급 특성인 집전성능을 평가하는 중요한 지표이다.본 연구에서는 HEMU-430x판토그래프의 동적 접촉력 특성을 속도에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과 판토그래프의 접촉력 표준편차가 속도에 따라 증가함을 확인하였고, 주파수 분석을 통하여 전차선의 경간이 접촉력에 매우 큰 영향을 미치는 인자임을 확인하였다. 또한 400km/h 이상의 속도에서 안정적인 집전특성을 확보하려면 판토그래프와 가선간의 접촉력 표준편차가 작아져야 한다. 이를 위하여 전차선 장력증가, 판토그래프 집전판 경량화 등의 방안을 적용하였으며, 이에 대한 접촉력 측면에서의 효과를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 또한 개활지와 터널에서의 접촉력 특성의 차이에 대하여서도 주파수 분석을 통해서 분석하였다.

  • Developed in this research is a TP (tangible prototyping) system, which consists of two modules; (1) a virtual reality model to evaluate the functions and appearance of the product, and (2) a haptic device to emulate tactile and kinesthetic properties of mechanical dial knobs. As an example, a washing machine is modeled using a commercial CAD system and transformed in VRML and X3D formats. Some dynamic behaviors and kinematic characteristics are programmed using X3D script and Java. Various haptic behaviors of the dial are generated by modulating torque profile according to the rotation angle. A torque profile measuring system is developed to evaluate the behaviors of the haptic dial physically. Haptic sensibility evaluations are accomplished using the TP by semantic differential method.

  • 본 논문에서는 위성 통신망에서의 효율적인 키 분배 프로토콜에 대한 성능을 분석하기 위하여 지상망에서 적용되는 키 분배 프로토콜중에서 Kerberos와 같은 push 모델과 X9.17로 대표되는 pull 모델에 대한 키 분배 처리 전차를 분석하고 분석된 키 분배 프로토콜이 위성망을 통하여 수행되는 절차를 기술하였다. 아울러, VSAT 위성 통신에서 키 분배 프로토콜이 Inband/Outband 채널을 통하여 처리되는 경우에 키 분배 프로토콜의 성능을 처리 지연과 처리율 측면에서 분석하였다.

구속모형시험을 이용한 KCS 선형의 조종성능 추정 (Prediction of Maneuverability of KCS Using Captive Model Test)

  • Recently, ultra large scale of ship is being ordered continuously and because of that, the accurate prediction of ship maneuverability in design stage becomes important matter. The model test like PMM test or CFD analysis are representative methods for predicting the maneuverability of ship. In this study, the captive model tests were carried out for predicting maneuverability of MOERI container ship(KCS) which is opened to the public using X-Y Carriage of Ocean Engineering Wide Tank of University of Ulsan. Considering the dimensions of tank, 2m class model ship was used for captive model test. CMT(Circular Motion Test) was performed for obtaining purer hydrodynamic coefficients related to yawing velocity. For getting hydrodynamic coefficients which cannot be obtained using CMT, PMM test(Planar Motion Mechanism test) were also performed. The maneuverability prediction results by simulation are compared with those of other research institutes.

  • The pulley-type tensioning device subjected to a maximum tension of 34 kN has been developed for 400 km/h high-speed railway. The tensioning device is to maintain the tension variation within 3% of the normal value, irregardless of temperature changes. Field tests shows that the tensioning device had a variation of tension which was as small as 0.6% as temperatures changed from $-5{\sim}7^{\circ}C$. Along with the tensions, we measured its X and Y movements due to the temperature changes. Based on a combination of its X and Y movements, we proposed a new performance index with which we can see if the tensioning device has troubles in operation without tension measurements.

속도향상에 따른 열차속도와 전차선 파동전파속도에 대한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on Train Speed and Wave Propagation Speed of Contact Wire according to the Speed-up)

  • An overhead catenary system is the one of the main subjects for increasing speed in electric railway. When a vehicle increases the speed over 350km/h, vibrations and wave propagation reflections occur severely. Therefore, the system suitable for the speed are needed. A wave propagation speed of contact wire is the main criteria to determine the tension for the system. Therefore, a train speed is restricted below 70% of wave propagation speed of it in European railway code. In this study, we measured a strain and uplift of contact wire while HEMU-430X tain is operated for the speed-up trial test in Kyungbu high-speed railway. The measured strain and uplift are analyzed with wave propagation speed according to the speed-up. The more a train speed reaches to a propagation speed, the more measured strain is high. Through the study, an experimental approach is performed about the code which a train speed is restricted below 70% of wave propagation speed of it.

  • The 350[km/h] catenary system was successfully opened in Honam high speed line. This 350[km/h] catenary system is firstly constructed in South Korea. Therefore the current collection performance of this system should be tested and evaluated by the authority. This paper describes the testings by running of HEMU-430X train and the evaluation criteria and result analysis to determine whether the performance of the catenary is good or not as a verification of catenary-pantograph interface. In detail, the contact force by pantograph, arcs by loss of contact and uplift amount of the catenary support were measured and discussed as a category of the current collection performance.
