온라인 구전 커뮤니케이션: 온라인 쇼핑몰에서의 소비자 사용후기 작성동기 (Online Word-of-Mouth: Motivation for Writing Product Reviews on Internet Shopping Sites)

  • The online shopping environment has radically changed consumer shopping behavior. Without the actual physical shopping experience in a brick-and-mortar store, consumers make purchasing decisions over the Internet. They make an effort to obtain product information not only from online merchants, but also from previous purchasers in order to make an informed decision. Accordingly, customer comments are expected to have a significant impact on decisions to purchase goods and services online. This paper focuses on one type of electronic word-of-mouth, the online consumer review. It derives several motivations why customers post product reviews on shopping mall sites. Customer motives were identified through an in depth one-on-one interview with twenty female respondents conducted twice from June $17^{th}$ to September $11^{th}$, 2009. The interviews lasted between 40 and 60 minutes. The results showed that consumers write product reviews based on six motivations: to receive a reward or remuneration for writing a product review, to share information with other customers, to improve the quality of goods and services, to reduce customer dissatisfaction, to recommend products and services, and to derive pleasure.

  • In this paper, we describe how to represent lower case hand-written English alphabets by a sequence of two to seven fuzzy sets. Each fuzzy set represents an arc segment of the character and each arc segment is assumed to be a part of an ellipse. The part of an ellipse is defined by five quantities: its short and long radii, its orientation angle, whether it is a part of the lower half or the upper half and whether it is the full half or a part of a half. Hence, we use the Cartesian product of five fuzzy sets to represent each arc segment. We show that this representation is a translation, rotation, and scaling invariant and that it can be used to generate the hand-written English alphabets. The representation we describe is different from the one proposed earlier by the author and when compared with the previous representation, the one described in this paper simulates more closely the behavior of how one writes English characters.

  • 355nm UV pulse laser is irradiated on the surface of polyimide (PI) by LDW (Laser Direct Writing) method to produce a high sensitivity flexible humidity sensor using a simple one-step process. The LDW method continuously investigates 2-D CAD data using a galvano scanner and an F-lens. This method is non-contact, so it minimizes physical strain on the PI. Laser-induced graphene (LIG) produced by lasers has a high surface area due to its high flexibility and numerous pores and oxidizers compared to conductors. For this reason, it is highly useful as a flexible humidity sensor. The humidity sensor produced in this study was attached to the inside of a mask filter, which has become a hot topic recently, and its applicability was confirmed.The measurement of humidity measured the sensitivity, reactivity, stability and recovery behavior of the sensor by measuring changes in capacitance and resistance.

온라인 리뷰의 텍스트 마이닝에 기반한 한국방문 외국인 관광객의 문화적 특성 연구 (A study on cultural characteristics of foreign tourists visiting Korea based on text mining of online review)

  • Purpose The study aims to compare the online review writing behavior of users in China and the United States through text mining on online reviews' text content. In particular, existing studies have verified that there are differences in online reviews between different cultures. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare the differences between reviews written by Chinese and American tourists by analyzing text contents of online reviews based on cultural theory. Design/methodology/approach This study collected and analyzed online review data for hotels, targeting Chinese and US tourists who visited Korea. Then, we analyzed review data through text mining like sentiment analysis and topic modeling analysis method based on previous research analysis. Findings The results showed that Chinese tourists gave higher ratings and relatively less negative ratings than American tourists. And American tourists have more negative sentiments and emotions in writing online reviews than Chinese tourists. Also, through the analysis results using topic modeling, it was confirmed that Chinese tourists mentioned more topics about the hotel location, room, and price, while American tourists mentioned more topics about hotel service. American tourists also mention more topics about hotels than Chinese tourists, indicating that American tourists tend to provide more information through online reviews.

작업 수준의 행위 표현 언어를 이용한 사이버강의용 아바타 시스템 (CyberClass Avatar System using Task-Level Behavior Description Language)

  • 최근 웹이나 가상환경에서는 아바타의 활용이 증가하고 있으나, 아바타의 행위를 사용자가 직접 제어하는 수준의 서비스는 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 또한 기존에 제공되었던 언어들에는 제어에 필요한 복잡한 세부 정보들이 많이 포함되어 있어서 사용자가 작성하기에 까다로움이 많았으며, 작성한 언어를 다른 작업 도메인에 적용하고자 할 때에도 언어를 수정하거나 재 작성해야하는 번거로움이 있었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 아바타의 행위를 간단히 정의하기 위해, 작업수준별 아바타의 행위를 작성 할 수 있는 “작업 수준의 행위 표현 언어”와 동작에 관련된 세부적인 데이터를 작성 할 수 있는 “동작 표현 언어”로 각각 정의하였다. 또한 시스템 내에 “인터프리터”를 두어 동작 표현 언어를 자동으로 생성 할 수 있도록 함으로써, 사용자가 행위 표현 언어만으로 아바타의 행위를 쉽게 제어 할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하였다. 이러한 내용을 사이버 강의에 적용해 보고, 정의한 작업 수준의 행위 표현 언어를 기존 언어들과 비교하여 아바타의 행위를 얼마나 간단히 표현할 수 있는지 검토하였다.

FOLFOX 항암화학요법을 받는 대상자의 저림감과 일상생활 어려움 (Tingling Sensation and Difficulty in Daily Living of Clients Treated FOLFOX Chemotherapy after Colon Resection)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate difficulties in daily activities and tingling from patients having treatment of FOLFOX chemotherapy after colon resection. Method: This study included 103 patients hospitalized for FOLFOX chemotherapy in one of the university affiliated hospital from August 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009. Data were collected using the questionnaire comprised general symptoms, tingling, difficulties in daily activities and coping behavior. Using the SPSS 14.0 program, data analytic methods include Chi-Square test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test. Results: The tingling sensation occurred in hands, feet, mouth, throat. Contacts with cold objects and the number of chemotherapy cycle worsen tingling sensation. Patients experienced difficulties in daily activities such as personal hygiene, kitchen work, eating cold food, sleeping cold, using fine motors like button up, writing, or using knife. The coping behavior included drinking warm water, sleeping warm, using gloves and socks, wearing comfortable shoes, massaging hands and getting help from supporters. Conclusion: An educational guideline for promoting coping behavior to relieve tingling sensation and difficulty in daily living in patients with FOLFOX chemotherapy is needed.

주요일간지의 건강관련기사내용 분석 (An Analysis on the Contents of the Health Related Articles in the Newspapers. (From the points of view of Health Education))

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the educatconal function of the health related articles. The health articles of the four major daily newspapers from Jan. 1st, 1980 to Dec. 31th, 1984 were used and examined for the study. Editorials were excluded. The major results were summarized as follows: 1. The total number of the health articles subjected to the study in the four major daily newspapers was 4,431. On the whole, the health articles were appeared most frequently in 1981. As for monthly distribution, the health articles were appeared most frequently on June.(9.3%). As for weekly distribution, the health articles were appeared most frequently on wednesday and saturday(50.8%). As for the subjects of content; the health articles related to the health & disease management were appeared most frequently(52.8%), but the health articles on industrial health were showed least frequently(0.6%). 2. Reviewing the chronological trend of the health articles, the frequency of appearance of the public health administration was tended to increase year by year, whereas that of enviornmental health, industrial health and population decrease relatively. As for appealing method, it was observed that the articles providing health information were steadily increasing. As for the motives of writing the health articles, there was a tendency that seasonal motive, symphosium & seminar and compaign were increasing, but motive of legislative action and administrative action were gradually decreasing. As for type of the health articles, it was observed that interpretation and research result were steadily increasing. As for the writer of the health articles, there was a tendency that writing by reporter was increasing, whereas writing by experts was decreasing. As for tone of head, the health articles written by identification statement was tended to increase. As for the appearance of photograph & cut, it was observed that the health articles excluding photograph & cut were increasing. 3. When contents were analyzed by subjects, for the purpose of providing information was used most frequently as appealing method for all subjects. As for the motive of writing, "from the interest of writers" was most frequent. As for the type of articles, interpretation type was most prevalent for the public health administration, enviornmental health, food hygrene & nutrition, population and health behavior, while contribution by experts was most frequent for the health & disease management. As for the size of articles, all subjects except the population were appeared most frequently on the column. size between 100㎠ and 199㎠.

노래 만들기를 통한 완화의료 청소년의 자기수용 증진 사례 연구 (Case Study on the Use of Songwriting to Promote Self-Acceptance in Adolescents in Palliative Care)

  • 본 연구는 노래 만들기 활동이 완화의료 청소년의 자기 수용력 증진에 미치는 효과를 연구한 것으로, 연구의 목적은 완화의료 청소년의 심리 정서 지원을 위한 음악치료 프로그램 초기 개발 현장에 근거를 제시하고자 함이다. 본 연구는 경상북도 소재 대학병원의 생명윤리위원회(IRB)의 승인을 받고 제출한 절차에 따라 진행하였으며, 총 3명의 대상자가 모집되었다. 프로그램은 총 6회(주 1-2회, 1회기 당 50분)로 매회기 도입, 노래 만들기, 마무리의 순서로 중재당일 참여자의 수준에 따라 노래 만들기 활동을 단계적으로 제공하였다. 대상자의 자기수용과 관련된 변화는 무조건적 자기수용 척도 검사와 참여 과정에서의 음악적 표현 및 언어적 반응을 분석하여 살펴보았으며 그 결과, 대상자 모두 자기 수용력 척도 점수에서의 향상이 도출되었다. 또한, 참여자들 모두 노래 만들기를 통해 자신의 정서를 인식하고 자신을 있는 그대로 수용하는 변화를 보였으며, 타인의 판단으로부터 자신을 분리해 자신만의 수용적 힘을 발견할 수 있었다. 더불어 참여자들의 부정적 정서가 환기됨을 확인할 수 있었으며, 참여자들이 녹음된 결과물을 통해 타인과 소통하는 모습이 관찰되었다. 이와 같은 결론을 바탕으로, 완화의료 청소년들이 본 프로그램을 통해 긴 치료과정에 함몰되지 않고 올바른 자기수용을 경험할 수 있기를 기대한다.

머신러닝을 활용한 가짜리뷰 탐지 연구: 사용자 행동 분석을 중심으로 (A Study on Detecting Fake Reviews Using Machine Learning: Focusing on User Behavior Analysis)

  • 소비자 구전은 정보통신기술의 발전과 모바일 기기의 보급 가속화로 그 영향력 또한 급속도로 커지고 있다. 그러나 과도한 마케팅 경쟁은 가짜리뷰와 같은 거짓 온라인 구전을 확산시켰고, 이로 인해 소비자들은 온라인 구전에 대한 피로감과 함께 온라인을 통해 얻게 되는 정보를 불신하는 결과를 초래하고 있으며, 이는 소비자의 합리적 구매 결정 행위에 부정적인 영향을 미치기도 한다. 이에 대한 문제 인식의 확산으로 가짜리뷰의 형태적 특성에 대한 연구를 비롯해 가짜리뷰를 효과적으로 분류하기 위한 다양한 탐지 방법에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 네이버 블로그에 작성된 포스트를 대상으로 데이터를 수집하고, 사용자의 무의식에 기반한 습관적 패턴을 머신러닝 모형을 통해 분석해 보았다. 게시물이 작성된 블로그와 그 게시물에서 추출한 변수를 분석하여 향후 가짜리뷰 예측에 활용하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 광고성 리뷰 예측에 있어 해당 글 작성자의 블로그에 등록된 전체 포스트의 개수와 포스트의 등록 날짜는 매우 높은 상관관계를 보였으며, 해당 포스트가 속한 분류에 등록된 포스트의 개수, 포스트 본문에 사용된 이미지의 개수, 블로그에 포함된 메뉴 개수, 포스트 제목 및 본문의 길이, 포스트가 획득한 '좋아요'의 개수 또한 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 광고성 리뷰 여부를 판단하기 위한 머신러닝 모형에 있어서 랜덤포레스트를 활용한 모형이 가장 우수한 모형으로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서는 블로그에 작성된 리뷰 내용에 대한 형태소 분석을 시행하는 대신 리뷰를 작성한 사람의 행위를 분석하기 위한 시도를 하였다. 이를 위해 블로그와 포스트의 특성 데이터를 수작업이 아닌 웹 크롤링 기법으로 수집하고 머신러닝 모형을 통해 광고성 리뷰 여부를 판별할 가능성을 확인한 점은 향후 가짜리뷰의 빠른 탐지를 위한 효율성 및 효과성 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Information Needs and Information Seeking Behavior of Foreign Students in University of Delhi: A Survey

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the information needs and information seeking behavior of foreign students. A survey method was used for the undertaken study. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire, self-administered to 120 foreign students (60 males & 60 females) with 88 (47 males & 41 females) returns. The research is limited to post-graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. foreign students in University of Delhi. It was found that post-graduate students need information regarding their program of study while research scholars need information for writing research articles and for doing their research work. Most of them seek information through the internet. Research scholars used electronic resources such as databases, e-journals and e-theses and dissertations. 88.6% of the respondents also use books for seeking information. Their use of the library is limited with complaints about library staff and too few computer terminals. The present study will be helpful in designing new systems and services for the foreign students so that their information needs can be fulfilled easily. Further, findings of the study indicate that how the library professionals should assist foreign students to accomplish their information needs.
