우리가 살아가고 있는 시대는 각 분야와 영역의 경계와 한계가 사라지고 서로 유기적으로 융합되고 공유되는 초연결성의 시대이다. 초연결성의 시대를 살아가는 그리스도인들은 거룩과 세속, 교회와 세상, 영혼과 육체, 신앙과 삶, 인간과 자연 등 다양한 구분과 단절로 삶의 방향을 잃어가고 있다. 그러나 초연결성 사회에서는 단절로 인한 분열과 갈등에서 벗어나 인간과 자연과 세상이 서로 연결되고 연대함을 통해 하나님나라를 구현해야 한다. 이를 위한 기독교교육의 방향성을 모색하기 위해 본 연구는 초연결성 시대의 특성과 초연결성의 핵심인 연대성의 원리를 살펴보았다. 연대성의 신학적 의미는 인간과 자연과 세상의 측면에서 살펴보았고, 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 초연결성 시대의 기독교교육의 방향을 모색한바 첫째, 시대와 세대의 흐름을 인식하되 절대적 가치를 따를 것 둘째, 페리코레시스적 존재양식을 가진 호모커넥투스의 신앙적 인간이해를 할 것 셋째, 연대적 관계성 속에서 함께 더불어 살아갈 수 있는 정의와 평화의 하나님 나라에 대한 교육을 할 것 등으로 요약할 수 있다.

본 작품은 보통의 애니메이션에서 나타나는 캐릭터는 등장하지 않고 거의 시종일관 미술적으로 창조된 이미지들의 애니메이션이다. 흔히 구체적인 스토리에 의해 등장하는 캐릭터들의 움직임 및 그 감정을 표현하는 애니메이션과 본 작품과 같이 구체적인 대사나 캐릭터에 의존하지 않는 이미지애니메이션을 비교해 보면 이미지애니메이션은 감독의 의도와는 상관없이 관객에 따라 느끼는 감정이 다양할 수 있다. 이는 추상미술을 감상하는 것과 같이, 보는 이에 따라 전혀 다르게 해석할 수도 있지만, 전체적인 분위기에서 감독이 의도한 것이 무엇인가를 생각하면서 감상하는 것도 좋은 감상법일 수 있다.

Northeast Asia has a multi-layered security structure within which major economic and military powers both confront one another and cooperate at the same time. Major regional powers maintain mutually cooperative activities in the economic sphere while competing one another in order to secure a dominant position in the politico-military arena. The multifarious threats, posed by the North Korea's nuclear development, territorial disputes, and maritime demarcation line issues demonstrate that Northeast Asia suffers more from military conflicts and strifes than any other region in the world. Specifically, major maritime security threats include North Korea's nuclear proliferation and missile launching problems as well as military provocations nearby the Northern Limit Line(NLL) as witnessed in the Cheonan naval ship and Yeonpyong incidents. The ROK Navy has been supplementing its firm military readiness posture in consideration of North Korea's threats on the NLL. It has performed superb roles in defending the nation and establishing the Navy advanced and best picked. It also has been conducive to defend the nation from external military threats and invasion, secure the sea lanes of communications, and establish regional stability and world peace. In order to effectively cope with the strategic environment and future warfares, the ROK Navy needs to shift its military structure to one that is more information and technology intensive. In addition, it should consolidate the ROK-US alliance and extend military cooperative measures with neighboring countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Evolved steadily for the last 60 years, the ROK-US alliance format has contributed to peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the Northeast Asian region. In conclusion, this manuscript contends that the ROK Navy should strive for the establishment of the following: (1) Construction of Jeju Naval Base; (2) Strategic Navy Equipped with War Deterrence Capabilities; (3) Korean-type of System of Systems; (4) Structure, Budget and Human Resources of the Naval Forces Similar to the Advanced Countries; and (5) Strategic Maritime Alliance and Alignment System as well as Domestic Governance Network for the Naval Families.

Since their emergence in the 1960s, music festivals have attracted young people the world over with similar tastes, attitudes and styles. Now a worldwide phenomenon, music festivals such as Glastonbury in England, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain and Pentaport Rock Festival in Incheon, South Korea draw hundreds of thousands of attendees from around the world and have become a major event not only for music fans, but for trend forecasters who now chronicle what has come to be known as "festival fashion", which has several distinctive style markers. This paper provides a historical background of festival fashion, examines the phenomenon using fashion theory and discusses the controversies facing the music festival and festival fashion, in particular the role that sponsorship from major corporations currently plays as advertisers who want to get their products into the hands of influential festival attendees and allegations of cultural appropriation on the part of attendees. In conclusion, the future of music festivals and festival fashion as a category is examined.

Translation has attained an important role in transmission and maintenance of human culture. As the world gets closer translation is regarded as one of the most useful means to carry knowledge and information through the language barrier. Translations of literary works in particular have been regarded as one of the most valuable means of helping people to understand and cooperate with one another in the interest of world peace. Korea has maintained a very close relationship with the United States of America since she first opened her door to the States in 1882. No one can deny that American has had a strong influence on Korean culture, politics, economics and education through the long close relationship between two countries. This study has been carried to find out how many and what American literary works have been introduced into Korea through translation from 1882 to 1982.

The Oriental thought does not stay in self, society, or state, but goes further to expand its bounds as "Chunha(the World, 天下)", which is not just the spacious expansion but the moral expansion. It provides a clue to overcome the limitations of the Western international political thought resulting in nationalistic tendencies. Such a cosmopolitcan orientation in the East can be found in the concepts of "Wangdo(Just Way, 王道)", "Yinjung(Benevolent politics, 仁政)", which make Hua(harmony, 和) its essential characteristics. If the East Asian community is formed, it should be based on universal principles that all East Asian citizens can sympathize with from below, not in a one-sided and coercive way. In this regard, the formation of "Sahaeyilga(四海一家, We are the world)", the "Chunha天下" based on the philosophy of the peace seeking 'similarity' in 'difference', can provide philosophical clues to resolve the conflicts and contradictions of the current isolationalist and confrontational international situation.

This article examines the image of the nation of the Union of Myanmar (Burma) by comparing the history textbook and the civic textbook prescribed in state schools during the period of independence from 1948 to 1958. After the Second World War, the political conditions gave the way for the formation of the Union of Myanmar composed of ethnic nationals in Myanmar. To shape the national identity, the newly-founded independent nation in 1948, introduced textbooks in history and civics for the purpose of nation building. The paper concludes that the history textbook illustrated the golden ages of the Myanmar kingdom by way of national consolidation and portrayed ethnic nationals as homogenous; on the other hand, the civic textbook defined a citizen as one who is born and raised in Myanmar; it also included migrant Asians such as Chinese and South Asians in the fold. The history textbook aspired for the national consolidation of ethnic nationals for the strength and prosperity of the country while the civic textbook required cooperation from both ethnic nationals and migrant Asians for peace and development of the country and the world.

영상 콘텐츠는 매체적 특성인 재현과 정보 전달, 몰입과 경험 등으로 교육의 수단으로 자주 활용되곤 한다. 특히, 종교영화의 경우, 종립학교나 신앙공동체에서 신앙의 이해와 고취를 위해서 더 많이 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 대순진리회가 영상 콘텐츠를 어떻게 활용하고 있는지를 영화 <화평의 길>과 대순진리회박물관의 영상 콘텐츠의 활용 현황을 살펴보고, 과제와 제언을 하는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구의 제2장에서는 대순진리회 영상 콘텐츠를 영화 <화평의 길>과 대순진리회박물관의 영상 콘텐츠의 현황을 살펴보고 어떻게 활용되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 그리고 제3장에서는 대순진리회의 영상콘텐츠가 현재 종단 내부의 종교교육 자료로만 기능하고 있다는 한계를 장르영화로서의 '예수 영화'를 통해서 어떻게 활용 가능한지에 대해서 살펴보았다. 그리고 마지막 제4장에서는 대순진리회의 영상 콘텐츠가 종교교육을 넘어선 다문화 종교교육의 자료로 활용될 가능성을 제안해 보았다. 이를 통해서 대순진리회가 영상 콘텐츠를 활용할 때 좀 더 시의성 있는, 지역 종교를 넘어서 세계 종교로서의 확장 가능성을 탐색하는 데 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is China's contribution to the need for the world to collectively address deficits of peace, development, governance, and problems relating to climate, the environment and human health. The rise of China and the BRI do challenge the current 'rules-based global order' and the economic dominance and moral, political, economic, and cultural leadership of the United States and its allies. However, China's goal is not hegemony but a multipolar world in which common values coexist with principles of peaceful coexistence (including non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states). The evolution of the BRI is outlined, and the ways in which it reflects Chinese interests are summarized, including its roles in addressing natural resource dependence and excess capacity, a transition from investment promotion and factor-intensive growth to going out and industrial upgrading, going West, and the effective deployment of China's foreign exchange assets. Although China does therefore potentially gain, the BRI is designed so that partners also gain in a quest for win-win co-operation and mutual benefit. The values that underlie this approach and the call for a community with a shared future are compared with competing western values, whose roots lie in Enlightenment thought and are associated with a record of colonialism and imperialism. In this light, the article concludes with a consideration of the global implications of the BRI, the challenges it confronts and the likelihood that the unipolar moment will give way to a multipolar global development path.

This study began to confirm or review the balance of power theory by applying scientific methods through experiential cases. Though there are several kinds of national power, this study supposes military power as a crucial power when it comes to war and peace. This research covered balance and imbalance through comparing relative military power between nations or nations' group. Comparison of relative military power can be achieved by statistically processing the values of which has been converted into the standard variables in same domain, then calculating the values of nation's power which has been synthesized different experiential factors. In addition, the criteria of experiential experiment is highly dedicated to European countries, USA, Japan prior to 1st and 2nd World War, as well as USA, Soviet Union and North East Asia during Cold War era. In addition, the balance of power theory has been redefined to review the action of the state upon the changes of power as mentioned in the theory. To begin with, the redefined theory states that relative level of military power between nations defines the consistency of peace and balance of power. If military power is enough to be on the range of level required to keep the power in equilibrium, peace and balance can be achieved. The opposite would unbalance the military power, causing conflicts. While the relative military level between nations change, nations seek to establish 'nations group' via military cooperation such as alliance, which also shift relative military power between nations group as well. Thus, in order to achieve balance of power, a nation seeks to strengthen its military power(self-help), while pursuing military cooperation(or alliance). This changes relative military power between nations group also. In other words, if there exists balance of power between nations, there is balance of power between nations group as well. In this theory, WWI and II broke out due to the imbalance of military force between nations and nations group, and reviewed that due to the balance of military force during the Cold War, peace was maintained. WWI was resulted from imbalance of military cooperation between two powerful states group and WWII was occurred because of the imbalance among the states. Peace was maintained from cooperation of military power and balance among the states during the Cold War. Imbalance among continental states is more threatening than maritime states and balance of power made by army force and naval force also is feasible. Also the outcomes of two variables are found military power balanced ratio of military power for balance is 67% when variable ratio of balance is 100% and standard value for balance is 0.86. Military power exists in a form of range. The range is what unstabilized the international system causing nations to supplement their military powers. These results made possible the calculation and comparison between state's military power. How balance of power inflicted war and peace has been studied through scientific reviews. Military conflict is highly possible upon already unbalanced military powers of North East Asian countries, if the US draws its power back to America. China and Japan are constantly building up their military force. On the other hand, Korean military force is inferior so in accordance to change of international situation state's survival could be threatened and it is difficult to achieve drastic increase in military force like Germany did. Especially constructing naval force demands lots of time; however but has benefit that naval force can overcome imbalance between continental states and maritime states.
