This study is intended to find out the reason of interference phenomenon of a machine tool when it operates for 5-axises working. The researcher made a Virtual Machine which has same figures of the 5 axises machine tool and Virtual Manufacturing System which has both Software factors - controller and NC code data to manipulate the movement characteristics of the machine - and Hardware factors - fixtures, workpiece, tools, holders and so on. With these virtual tools, this study is designed to find out the relation between the movement and the interference or collision, and also intended to verify the simulation and work-processing. In this study, the researcher found out, in case of the vertical 5 axises type, that it has more chances to have interference between the fixture, the workpiece and the main spindle including the tool holder due to the tilting kinetics of the main spindle. In case of the horizontal 5 axises type, on the other hand, the researcher found out that it has more possibility to have the interference between the main spindle and the rotary shaft.
Since most CAD tool companies are carrying out very expensive license policies, designers are sharing CAD tools with a limited number of licenses within a design working or research group. It is important to share and use them efficiently, because CAD tool licenses are very valuable resources. Designers should know CAD tool license information such as available number of licenses, types, and configuration methods to use CAD tools properly in their group. Usually, this information is provided by managers who administrate CAD tool license servers in the specific design group. In the previous CAD tool licenses sharing methods, designers have to get CAD tool license information manually and setup the environments with their own hands, If a new designer comes into the design working group, the designer wastes unnecessary time and effort due to these manual processes. As a result, designer's productivity and utilization of CAD tools will decrease. Besides, managers also waste their time and effort, since they should provide CAD tool license information manually to each desiEner. In this paper, we present a more efficient scheme to share CAD tool licenses based on directory service. The proposed method automates not only the communication processes between managers and designers, but also the license configuration steps. We expect this scheme will reduce time and effort of designers and managers as well as enhance the utilization of CAD tools.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze dental laboratory's working environment and turnover intention level and to examine its correlation. Methods: 180 dental technicians in Seoul, Incheon, and Chungnam area were selected. Survey was carried out from April 6, 2009 to May 20, 2009 by using self-administered questionnaire. As for the tools for this study, the structured questionnaire was used with its proven reliability and feasibility, and the contents of questionnaire consisted of 43 questions on the basis of related references. The questionnaire consisted of total 32 questions which included general attribute of subjects(14 questions), working Environment(20 questions) and turnover intention(9 questions). The data analysis was processed by computerized system with SPSS 12.0. Statistical analysis techniques included frequency, percentage, T-test, F-test analysis and regression analysis. The average in the working environment was indicated to be high with 1.53. As a result of analyzing the research subjects' turnover intention level, there was difference in the item of working hours a day(Hour), job satisfaction level, plan for task continuity, most difficulty given task(P<0.05). The average of turnover intention was indicated to be high with 2.85. Conclusion: Correlation between working environment and turnover intention, most of variables were indicated to have reverse correlation, thereby having been shown that the worse working environment leads to the more turnover intention.
Recent trend of popularity of CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) tools and its availability, partly contributed by significant price reduction of H/W and SW, makes us believe CAE has already established terra firma as de jure tools, enablint the design improvement in the manufacturing am. However, if your jobs are required to be working closely with engineers located in the front line of manufacturing site, CAE is observed far from popularity, still being regarded as exclusive tools for engineers holding advanced degrees. Conventional methodologies depending on knowledge that was accumulated thorough trial and errors, depending primarily on engineering tables and formulas or proprietary know-how, are preferred as the de factor standard under the roof of contemporary development shops. Samsung camera, having stared its business since early 、80, has accumulated enough technological strength to compete in the world market. As today's consumers demand more sophisticated featured-lighter weight, built-in multi zoom and miniature size fitting in the palm-from camera manufacturer, so should Samsung camera respond to ever-delicate consumer's needs with great flexibility. Consequently conventional designers, without sophisticated analytical tools, with encounter solving the critical design factors that have never been treated as seriousness-marginal safety factors induced by reduced size of parts. In the study, CAE results of boss and gears were demonstrated as examples, which confirms the facts that the simple analysis done by front line designers, can bring distinguishable effects on the potential improvements of design and on the consequential influences on the future design process-simulation before actual tooling and productions.

Recently, the needs of system performances such as working speed and processing accuracy in machine tools have been increased. Especially, the working speed increment generates harmful heat at both moving part of the machine tools and handicrafts. The heat is a main drawback to progress accuracy of the processing. Hence, a oil cooler to control temperature is inevitable for the machine tools. In general, two representative control schemes, hot-gas bypass and variable speed control of a compressor, have been adopted in the oil cooler system. In this paper, the compressor's speed are controlled to keep reference value of temperature at oil outlet. The precision processing of a machine tool is required for an oil cooler guaranteeing ${\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$ temperature control. But the oil cooler with precision temperature control is expensive. Therefore in this paper, instead of a on/off(relay) control method, a PID and phase angle electric power control method is proposed for the precision control of an oil cooler. The proposed controller is implemented and tested at the temperature of $23^{\circ}C$, $24^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$.
Backround: Working condition surveys are widely recognized as useful tools for monitoring the quality of working life and the improvements introduced by health and safety policy frameworks at the European and national level. The Italian Workers' Compensation Authority carried out a national survey (Insula) to investigate the employer's perceptions related to working conditions and their impact on health. Methods: The present study is based on the data collected from the Italian survey on health and safety at work (INSULA) conducted on a representative sample of the Italian workforce (n = 8,000). This focuses on the relationship between psychosocial risk factors and self-reported health using a set of logistic and linear regression models. Results: Working conditions such as managerial support, job satisfaction, and role act as protective factors on mental and physical health. On the contrary, workers' risk perceptions related to personal exposure to occupational safety and health risks, concern about health conditions, and work-related stress risk exposure determine a poorer state of health. Conclusions: This study highlights the link between working conditions and self-report health, and this aims to provide a contribution in the field of health at work. Findings show that working conditions must be object of specific preventive measures to improve the workers' health and well-being.
This study examined the hygiene management of ultrasound probes by examining the cleaning tools for hygiene management of ultrasound probes, the presence or absence of wearing glove as a personal protective equipment, and the awareness of ultrasound probe hygiene. Parts 154 questionnaire about people working in the ultrasound room were surveyed and analyzed. The single gel removal tool of the ultrasound probe was most frequently used with a 48.7% cotton towel, and for double gel removal tools, the first gel removal tool was 42.4% cotton towel and the second gel removal tool was used with 57.6% wet tissue. Antimicrobial wipes were the most commonly used drug and instrument used in ultrasound hygiene management at 58.4%. According to the survey of the presence or absence of wearing glove during ultrasound examination, 46.8% were found to be unworn. When examining the intracavity ultrasound, 30.9% of those who do not wear glove and 61.0% of hygiene awareness of ultrasound probes are 'normal'. According to age, ultrasound probe gel removal tool was not significant difference(p>0.05). According to the working organization and the working department, it was significant difference to wearing gloves during ultrasound examination(p<0.05). Therefore, in order to properly sanitize the ultrasound probe, it is considered that a guideline for hygiene management of the ultrasound probe that fits the situation in Korea is necessary, and it is considered that thorough hygiene management training for inspector is necessary for efficient hygiene management of the ultrasound probe.

Purpose: Several screening tools have been developed to identify sarcopenia in rural community-dwelling older adults. We aimed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of two such tools, namely the SARC-F and SARC-CalF assessments. Methods: This cross-sectional study on 388 community-dwelling older adults comprised 254 women and 134 men with a mean age of 77.8 ± 6.26 year in Korea. We assessed muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical performance using a bioimpedance analysis device, hydraulic hand dynamometer, and 4 m gait speed test, respectively. Three widely-used diagnostic criteria [the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS), European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People, and the International Working Group on Sarcopenia] were applied. Sensitivity and specificity analyses were performed on the SARC-CalF and SARC-F tests. We used receiver-operating characteristic curves and the area under the curves (AUCs) to compare the diagnostic accuracy of the assessments with regard to sarcopenia. Results: An analysis using four sets of diagnostic criteria showed that the prevalence of sarcopenia was 27.6% to 41.0%. Using the AWGS 2019 criteria as a reference standard, the SARC-CalF had a sensitivity of 83.02% and a specificity of 53.71% in the entire study population, whereas the SARC-F had a sensitivity of 79.87% and a specificity of 41.92%. The AUCs for the SARC-CalF and SARC-F tests were 0.725 (95% confidence interval 0.678-0.769) and 0.645 (95% confidence interval 0.595-0.693), respectively (p<001). In the analyses using the other three diagnostic criteria, similarity was also confirmed. Conclusion: SARC-CalF showed better sensitivity than did SARC-F when diagnosing sarcopenia in rural community-dwelling older adults. Further studies are needed to verify this finding in different populations.

Since 1995, One of the NGIS(National Geographic Information System) projects, the underground utilities project has been finished in 2003. The 19 cities in korea for this project will use underground utilities management system using underground utilities database focusing on water and sewage system. However, special expert, technical and experience problem in computer environment has not been had in working department for water and sewage management and maintenance for each local government. The management and maintenance of underground utilities database by manual method is getting lowered a data quality of underground utilities database because of the data omitting, error in writing and securing of the lasted database. Therefore, in this study, Application test for field workers using a mobile tool and environment analysis of wireless communication in Korea and application test of GPS receiver for mobile tools had been processed and made a mobile working environment. The efficient management and maintenance method for underground utilities database has been developed an off- line method for modification and update of database about general work which has a high working frequency because of the limitation of wireless communication environment Also, the emergency working has been applied for on-line method.
This paper proposes a method for evaluating the work of manufacturing workers using MediaPipe as a risk factor for musculoskeletal diseases. Recently, musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) caused by repeated working attitudes in industrial sites have emerged as one of the biggest problems in the industrial health field while increasing public interest. The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency presents tools such as NIOSH Lifting Equations (NIOSH), OWAS (Ovako Working-posture Analysis System), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), and Rapid Entertainment Assessment (REBA) as ways to quantitatively calculate the risk of musculoskeletal diseases that can occur due to workers' repeated working attitudes. To compensate for these shortcomings, the system proposed in this study obtains the position of the joint by estimating the posture of the worker using the posture estimation learning model of MediaPipe. The position of the joint is calculated using inverse kinetics to obtain an angle and substitute it into the REBA equation to calculate the load level of the working posture. The calculated result was compared to the expert's image-based REBA evaluation result, and if there was a result with a large error, feedback was conducted with the expert again.
