  • The sum of each work duration are entire period in construction project. Each work occurs to be late, the total period of construction project will delays. Therefore, the total period of construction project will not be delayed if probability of working progress makes higher. Finding each work's constraints performs constraints analysis in process of construction for checking probability of working progress. Grasp work's constraints through the constraints analysis and removes. This research will show preventing delay of consruction project, through constraints analysis process.

  • One of the important roles of worflow is color management. In general, color management technique, which is called CMS(color management system), is a method to solve problems that show different characteristics of color regeneration in output devices, and the characteristics of output devices is created in data file called ICC(International Color Consortium) profile. In addition, ICC profile is used to manage color in workflow, and includes other functions, process management and printing quality management. In domestic printing market, workflow is in the pipeline at rapid speed along with CTP, and use of ICC profile required for color management is also in rapid progress. Therefore, this paper produced optimal ICC profile through experiment from the work of linearizing devices used in each field to color conversion work. Moreover, the paper confirmed how ICC profile will be used in printing field. In the profiling experiment based on hardcopy proofing, photographed copy and chrominance were compared by printing out in proof the image created through application and color conversion with the use of camera profile and proof profile produced in colorimetric method. By evaluating if color is expressed accurately from input to output through colorimetric color conversion experiment as above, the paper intended to propose color management method using optimal profile in printing process.

  • It is still difficult to share and utilize the information generated at each phase of a steel box girder production process due to the spatial gap and different level of management information. The physical distance results in the inefficiency of the information transmission, the accidental omission and typos of the relative information, and so on. Various levels of management information make it difficult to embody a new management system. Eventually, these factors incur the loss of cost and schedule and interrupt development of a new management system. This paper analyzes a current process and presents graphical process flow by using IDEF0. Based this analysis, the research for new production process and work breakdown structure (WBS) is conducted. At the end of this paper, the conceptual design of this system is suggested. Through new management system, it is expected that the model proposed in this study will improve the management process in the steel box production, and the improved process will reduce the redundant cost and schedule information, transmission and deposit generated by manual paper.

  • Purpose : This study was to provide a meaningful framework for establishment of the direction of Nursing Management area to get ready for Nursing Personal Licensing Examination Board. Method : Using methodological and descriptive research method, the research process was as follows: a preliminary work list which was performed by New Nurse related to nursing management area was made of such key information as the domain of nursing management work, the element of that domain, and the detail work content, by means of a broad review of literature related to nursing management on Licensing Examination for the new nurse. After this preliminary work list sought to obtain examination, consensus, and modification of expert group in the nursing management field, research instrument which was the work list performed by new nurse within nursing management area was to developed. And next, it was to survey various of the importance and the frequency of that work performance by registered nurse, nurse manager, and the professors to take responsible of nursing management. Finally, the educational content for nursing management at the level of baccalaureate was proposed by various analyzing of research results. Results : The work list which was performed by new nurse related to nursing management area consisted of 9 domains, 24 elements, and 80 detail work contents. After it was examined into such various analysis as descriptive statistics, ANOVA, mean range, and so on, of the importance perception of the work and the frequency of work performance, the educational contents for baccalaureate in nursing management which consisted of total 65 contents made up of 18 core contents and 47 essential contents, which new nurses have to necessarily know and perform within the nursing management area. Conclusion : The results of this study will contribute to identifying the work list of new nurses performed in nursing management area and also proposing the educational contents that was taught at the level of baccalaureate in nursing management area based on doing actually in nursing unit.

  • The manufacturing industries which played a major role in the rapid economic growth and industrialization of Korea in the late 20th century had considerable difficulties changing their manufacturing conditions from producer-oriented conditions to customer-oriented ones according to market changes. In this study, increase plant efficiency because grafts together modular system to plant layout and analyzes Work In Process(WIP) between product's cycle time and each process, family efficient plan wishes to choose opposite bank. Simulation approach used for presented methodology The effect will not gain the results for other reasons the inherent conditions of companies, people, and culture which have been hitherto described, but will be expected to help the direction for a new Lay-out production system to reflect on the native conditions rather than fixed technological means and methods in way of an analysis of fundamental problems which small and medium companies in Korea face.

  • Asbestos is a building material that has been actively used because of its excellent durability and heat resistance until 2009, when it was found to be a first-class carcinogen and prohibited in Korea. Currently, asbestos dismantling is an essential process in demolition of old buildings. Workers are likely to be exposed to asbestos in the process of dismantling and removing them, which causes various occupational diseases, suggesting related laws and work standards to ensure the safety of asbestos dismantling process. Accordingly, prior studies have been conducted to analyze the level of asbestos exposure and influencing factors occurring during work, but most of them are mainly concerning health issue while research on process risks considering field characteristics and safety aspects of the work processes is still insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to derive the process risks affecting the safety of workers based on the survey results of asbestos dismantling companies, and further proposed a cost calculation model taking those risks into account.

  • In the construction project, construction supervisor influences greatly the construction managements such as process management, quality management, safety management, and cost management. Therefore, from the first stage of the project, the managing activities of the supervisor are consistently needed. But the assesment of supervisor's work and cost has not been made enough in the public construction project. And there have been doubts as to whether a supervisor can take a consistent managing activity from the early stage of the project. Accordingly, the works between Korean supervisor and foreign supervisor in their public corporations are analyzed and compared in this paper. And the evaluation is made each of the cost for supervisor and the cost for engineer as a substitute of supervisor in construction project. This study is believed to contribute to improving the supervisor's work and reducing the personnel expenses and construction indirect cost.

  • Recently, the issue of construction safety is growing. In the construction industry, accidents have continued to increase since 2000. In particular, the number of accident deaths at small and medium-sized construction sites accounts for 72.11% of the total number of accident deaths in the construction industry. For construction safety, prior safety evaluation systems such as Design for safety and safety management plan preparation are in place. However, at construction sites, these systems are recognized as formal legal documents, and their effectiveness is greatly reduced. Therefore, in this study, a linkage model that links design safety review information and safety management plan information was presented so that the safety management plan can be efficiently established. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed process was verified as an example of actual work. The linkage model will contribute to improving the safety management environment at the site by increasing the productivity of safety management work by enabling easy sharing of risk factor information in the construction stage safety management work. The results of this study will be used as basic information for the development of the integrated safety management system.

An Argument-based Approach to Manage Collaborative Negotiations in Software Systems Design

  • To manage collaborative negotiation in software system design, we have built a socio-technical argument-based negotiation management approach by integrating a Socio-technical Co-construction Process (STCP) with an Argument-based Negotiation Process (ABNP). This paper reviews relevant research work and presents each step of this approach. The STCP provides rich contextual information of technical decisions and social interactions in a system design process. The ABNP provides STCP with a negotiation management and conflict resolution strategy by guiding software engineers to generate, exchange and evaluate their argument claims in negotiation activities. In addition, this paper describes a prototype system which implements this new approach using the advanced Web-based software technologies with the goal of demonstrating how to systematically enhance the negotiation management capabilities in a dynamic socio-technical framework.

A Linear Filtering Method for Statistical Process Control with Autocorrelated Data (자기상관 데이터의 통계적 공정관리를 위한 선형 필터 기법)

  • In many common control charting situations, the statistic to be charted can be viewed as the output of a linear filter applied to the sequence of process measurement data. In recent work that has generalized this concept, the charted statistic is the output of a general linear filter in impulse response form, and the filter is designed by selecting its impulse response coefficients in order to optimize its average run length performance. In this work, we restrict attention to the class of all second-order linear filters applied to the residuals of a time series model of the process data. We present an algorithm for optimizing the design of the second-order filter that is more computationally efficient and robust than the algorithm for optimizing the general linear filter. We demonstrate that the optimal second-order filter performs almost as well as the optimal general linear filter in many situations. Both methods share a number of interesting characteristics and are tuned to detect any distinct features of the process mean shift, as it manifests itself in the residuals.
