  • Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate a work of guards, using an ergonomic method(work analysis and posture analysis). Background: Most studies about guards were conducted in the field of medical, problems of shift, and the physical problems of old workers and social problems. But, guards consist of vulnerability group so it needs an ergonomic research in musculoskeletal disorders. Method: A head of an ergonomic estimation was work analysis(determination of combined task, work tool, work time and frequency of combined task) and posture analysis(upper body and lower body) of workers based on the video. Results: The result showed that combined task of guards was classification of patrolling, security, cleaning and waiting. The security indicated the highest ratio in the work time of combined tasks. The results of posture analysis for guards indicated high value in neutral. But, lower arm indicated high value in bending(left: 59%, right: 50%). Conclusion: The results of ergonomic methods indicated that guards' physical work load was not high during work, but comfortable work environment would be required for old guards. Application: If an ergonomic rule can be integrated into existing work environments, the risk of occupational injuries and stress will be reduced.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trends in patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders in South Korea and to check the major results by reviewing the literature on the risk factors and prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases related to work. Methods: Industrial disaster data from the Ministry of Employment and Labor from 2012 to 2021 were used, and the literature was reviewed regarding risk factors for musculoskeletal diseases related to work using PubMed and RISS. Results: The trend of patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders has increased overall since 2017 after declining until 2016, with a particularly notable increase in the average annual number of patients with physical burden work. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with body burden work, non-accidental lower back pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome among work-related diseases was high in the mining industry. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with accidental lower back pain was the highest in the fishing industry. Within the manufacturing field, it was the highest in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry. As a result of the literature review, the search rate for work-related musculoskeletal disease papers in unstructured work was high. In addition, physical stress factors were high among risk factors, and pain areas showed a high rate for the waist. Conclusion: Even after the institutional implementation of a hazard investigation system related to musculoskeletal diseases is implemented, the number of patients with occupational musculoskeletal disorders continues to increase. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct regular surveys and implement effective improvement activities for vulnerable industries or occupations.

  • For a time-multiplexed FPGA, a circuit is partitioned into several subcircuits, so that they temporally share the same physical FPGA device by hardware reconfiguration. In these architectures, all the hardware reconfiguration information called contexts are generated and downloaded into the chip, and then the pre-scheduled context switches occur properly and timely. Since the maximum number of the LUT's required in the same time determines the size of the chip used in the synthesis, it needs to be minimized, if possible. Many previous work use their own approaches, which are very similar to either scheduling method in high level synthesis or multi-way circuit partitioning method, to solve the problem. In this paper, we propose a method which estimates the lower bound on the number of LUT's without performing any actual synthesis. The estimated lower bounds help to evaluate the results of the previous work. If the estimated lower bound on the number of LUT's exactly matches the number of LUT's of the result from the previous work, the result must be optimal. In contrast, if they do not match, the following two cases are expected : the more exact lower bound may exist, or we might find the new synthesis result better than the result from the previous work. Experimental results show that our lower bound estimation method is very accurate. In almost al] cases experimented, the estimated lower bounds on the number of LUT's exactly match those of the previous synthesis results respectively, implying that the best results from the previous work are optimal as well as our method predicted the exact lower bound for those examples.

  • Various studies and business investments have been performed on UAV in the field of spatial information industry, and it is judged that this industry has being evolved into an expansion stage as a legalization progresses. In addition, public institutions such as Korea Land and Geospatial Information Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, and Korea Land and Housing Corporation which have relatively much utilized spatial information work have entered into the stage of settling with active introduction for reasons of work efficiency and business management. However, surveying drones are still classified as expensive equipment, which is a burden on general business application and technology popularization. Moreover, the stabilization of reliability of various location information acquired from UAV is a part of ongoing research and supplementation. Therefore, in this study, to use image information acquired from low-cost UAV as reliable spatial information data, the flight altitude was changed and compared with the result of double transverse flight with conventional photographing technique. As a result, there was no change in the result value at low altitude, but the result showed more than 30% accuracy and accuracy improvement for the X, Y value at the altitude of 130m or higher than the conventional method.

  • This study started with concerns for corporate philanthropy that is emerging as an alternative for resource development of social work field in Korea. However, corporate philanthropy is not operating as an accomplished conception yet, but as a type of the practical discourse. Therefore corporate philanthropy is interpreted a multiplicity of meanings is used ambiguously in social work practice field. This is because theoretical reviews on the conceptual thinking of corporate philanthropy are scant and is in need of empirical inquires into conceptual perception of social workers who uses this concept as a stakeholder to corporate philanthropy. After analyzing the data using Q methodology, the result shows that social workers' major perception patterns on corporate philanthropy perspective consists of three patterns; Win-Win Partnership, Social-obligation, Strategic Materialism. These patterns are classified by the dimension of 'classical view', 'socio-economic view', 'modern view' and 'philanthrophic view'. This result will attribute to develop theories, social work practice program and social worker' training program related corporate philanthropy. And to give facilities for lucid communication among practice and theory in social work field as it materializes the explicit conception of corporate philanthropy that is understood ambiguously in Korea.
