  • The purpose of this study is to examin the women' s issues in Library & Information Science and to develop a FLIS (Feminist Library & Information Science). This study sample consists of 83 articles published during 1970-1996 in 21 major LIS journals of Korea, America, and England. This study presents a women' s representation mode in LIS that allows categorization of women' s issues into three distinct but related categories: 1) women as information producer, 2) women as information user, and 3) women as information manager. This study suggests that FLI be based on Feminism and take gender as a analytic category of LIS research.

  • Cloud computing-related security incidents have occurred recently are beyond the scope of a enterprise's security incident is expanded to the entire range of customers who use the cloud computing environment. The control technology for the overall integrated security of the cloud data center is required for this purpose. This study research integrated and additional security elements for the cloud data center control to understand the existing control technology. It is a better understanding of the IaaS cloud environment to build the IaaS cloud environment by CloudStack. SW-IaaS cloud structure by combining CloudStack and IaaS cloud model presented by NIST is proposed in this study. This paper derive a security framework to consider in each layer of The SW-IaaS cloud components, which are composed of the Cloud Manager, Cluster Manager, and Computer Manager.

  • Although female entrepreneurship has started to receive scholarly attention, existing literature narrowly focus on firms founded by women or female founders thereby causing a lack of understanding about the antecedents of female entrepreneurship at a general level. To address this gap in the literature, the aim of our study is to explore the impact of organizational culture on female entrepreneurship. Specifically, we examine whether the horizontal nature of firms' organizational culture enhances female entrepreneurship. Futhermore, the moderating role of career self-management behavior is examined. Our empirical analysis is based on the third survey of 2022 Korea Women Manager Panel (KWMP) conducted by the Korea Women's Development Institute. All hypotheses were supported. We find that when companies have more horizontal organizational culture in place, the level of female entrepreneurship increases. Moreover, the positive relationship between horizontal organizational culture and female entrepreneurship is stronger when female employees are more proactive in career self-management behavior in order to achieve their individually set career goals. Overall, our study contributes to the literature on female entrepreneurship by providing implications for its antecendents.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the competing values leadership of restaurant general managers and to investigate the impact of their competing values leadership on employee job satisfaction and turnover intention. A sample of full-time restaurant employees (n=360, 36% response) completed an e-mail survey. The results showed that among the eight sub-dimensions of competing values leadership roles, the monitor (4.04), producer (4.01), and director (3.99) roles were perceived as the most frequently used leadership styles of managers compared to broker (3.78), innovator (3.83), and mentor (3.91) roles (p <0.001). Additional T-test results suggested that an employees' gender had an influence on how he/she perceived the leadership style of their manager. Male employees were more likely to perceive that the director and mentor roles (4.19) were performed very well by their managers, while female employees perceived that their managers concentrated more on monitor (3.98) and producer (3.96) roles rather than on broker (3.73) and innovator (3.79) roles (p<0.05). It was found that manager competing values leadership had a significant correlation with employee job satisfaction, and the mentor, coordinator, and innovator manager roles explained the relationship with 42.1% based on multiple regression analysis (p<0.001). In further findings, the manager competing values leadership roles had an effect on employee turnover intention. The results of the data were as follows: mentor and facilitator roles promoted a decrease in employee turnover intention and the director role caused employee turnover intention to increase. Ultimately, this study will be useful for restaurant managers to guide the application of appropriate competing values leadership roles in order to strengthen employee job satisfaction and to reduce turnover intention.

  • The Purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of maternity apparel style and job type on the likability and the occupational competence of pregnant working women. This study was 3'S factorial design. Independent variables of this study were maternity apparel style(feminine style, neutral style, and masculine style) and job type(assitant manager of bank and salesperson). Dependent variables were the likability and the occupational competence of the stimuli. One hundred eighty college females participated in the study, in which half of the subject viewed the stimuli as a salesperson and the other half as an assistant manager of bank. The results showed that maternity apparel style influenced the perception of likability(F(2,174)=6.97, p<.001) and occupational competence(F(2,174): 16.25, p<.001) significantly. Also lob type influenced the occupational competence(F(1,174) : 3.94, p<.05) signifcantly. There was a significant interaction(F(2,174) : 2.53 p(.10) between maternity apparel style and job type. In future researches, diverse job distinction other than the classification of being professional or non-being professional can be arranged to study the influence of job type. Also it is recommended to explore the interaction between the appearance cues except clothing and job type.

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time remote logging model for development of android applications using LBS(Location based Service). The model has two major parts: Mobile Log Management Service and Remote Log Server. Mobile Log Management Service consists of the log collector and the remote log manager. The log collector is an aspect of AOP which can collect logs from the target application without modifications of source codes. The remote log manager has a background service component so that it can receive logs whenever the log collector captures logs from the target application. Remote Log Server communicates with Mobile Log Management Service by socket interface. Therefore, Remote Log Server can show logs in real-time. To validate the efficiency of the proposed model, we show a case study, and compare the model with other models.

  • The purpose of this study is to review in light at women's subjective. Perceptions of manifestations Premenstrual Syndrome which are known to affect their labor productivity. To this end, 364 women workers were sampled from an industrial factory located in Chonan, Chungchongnam-do and supervised by health manager, through questionnaires, and collected data were processed using SPSS package program. The result of survey can be summarized as follows: The fact that some academic circles are recently raising the issue of premenstrual syndrome. Suggests that the syndrome is being accepted in academic terms, which is contary to the position that the syndrome is just the result of women's mental imagination. However, some factors which are concived to affect woman worker' productivity and efficiency seem to be related to their subjective psychological variables involving their working environment rather than their physiological variabls. Therefore, if a health-promotion program handling their subjective psychological variables be introduced, some factors caused by the pre-menstrual syndroml may be reduced thus increasing their working productivity and. efficiency around their menstrual days.
