This study is an attempt to analyze the daily life of the Western-yearning Seoul citizens and the inflow of the Western culture into certain social classes. The customs of the characters in the film are studied to illustrate the process of deconstruction of Korean traditional clothes due to the Western influence. The combined application of the Western and Korean styles is also observed. All this study leads to the sense of homogeneity of the times and the conformity to the culture the Korean women shared, which boils down to the social identity of the Korean women who sought an escape from the men-centered social structure by displaying their competence in the field of global modern fashion. As Seonyeong Oh, the main character of the film, , was wearing in the movie the Korean traditional dress, socks, rubber shoes, and then a western-style coat, it well shows that in 1950's, the traditional dress and ornaments were mixed with Western styles. In time, men's wear were completely changed from the traditional Korean clothes to suits, while women's could not break off from the traditional clothes and become westernized, which indicates that the men-centered conservative ideas to keep women within the feudal regime of the society remained. The military look of Seonyeong Oh while she was acting in the society was a symbol of anti-bias against women and anti-convention as well as the will of freedom as an independent woman. Besides, the modern girls would wear clothes of military fashion, Dior's trapeze line, and knit styles flattering the figures. All these well show their desires to embrace Western cultures, especially their dress fashions as well as manners as so-called enlightened ladies. All these elements show that the director was trying to represent the progress of the drama, characters, and psychological states by means of the dress and ornaments.

본 연구는 여성의 진로적응에 역할모델로서 직위의 중요성에 주목하였다. 이를 위해 '2017년 여성관리자패널조사' 자료를 활용하여 근속 여성관리자의 직위별 특성요인을 살펴보고자 다항로짓분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 과장직위는 삶의 만족도가 낮게 나타나 초급관리자의 어려움을 나타냈다. 둘째, 차장직위는 중급관리자로써 일에 대한 정체성을 확립해 가는 것으로 예측되었다. 셋째, 부장직위는 연령, 목표지위, 목표달성 가능성, 다음직급소요기간이 높게 나타나 친화적인 조직분위기에서 근속에 의한 안정화 기제가 작용되었다. 넷째, 임원직위는 높은 월평균임금에 차별경험은 가장 적게 나타났다. 차장직위에 비해 낮게 연령과 다른 직위에 비해 조직분위기 및 인사관리도 낮게 인식하여 개개인의 적극적인 진로개발이 중요함이 시사되었다. 모든 직위에 공통으로 연령, 조직분위기 및 인사관리, 목표지위, 목표달성 가능성, 다음직급소요기간, 월평균임금, 복리후생, 삶 만족도 요인이 여성의 진로적응에 결정적 영향요인으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 시사점 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

The present research intends to examine the herding aspect during the COVID-19 outbreak. The study is conducted to achieve specific objectives, so the underlying sampling technique is purposive sampling. The considered data source is the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Daily stock prices of 528 listed companies in PSX have been taken from the official website of PSX from 1998 to 2021. The current study envisions investigating the herding aspects for pre-pandemic and the time covering the pandemic period. The study has also targeted ten sectors of PSX. The present study's motive is to investigate investors' herding prospects before and during the pandemic in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and its selected sectors. Daily closing stock prices of listed companies have been collected from the official website of PSX to calculate the stock returns. The Cross-Sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD) has been used as a herding measure. Findings revealed that herding has not been observed in PSX during both time spans and even not during the bullish and bearish trends. However, robust sectoral evidence has been observed during the pandemic. It implies that investors in PSX tend to follow the crowd irrespective of making their own decisions to avoid further losses.

This study investigates the impact of gender diversity on the board of directors on corporate intellectual capital (IC) disclosure in Indonesia. For the study purpose, the sample was divided into two sections, i.e., companies with large capitalizations and companies with small capitalizations. A paired T-test was used to observe significant changes in the disclosure level between period and type of firm. Using linear regression analysis, the influence of gender diversity and other variables on IC disclosure was examined. The findings show that IC disclosure varies for large and small companies. The level of IC disclosure in large companies was stronger than in small companies. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the profitability, leverage, ownership, and type of business of the company significantly affect IC disclosure. For companies with large capitalization, the presence of women directors on corporate boards or gender diversity on corporate boards does not impact IC disclosure. This is because the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) does not insist on IC disclosure. However, for small companies, the existence of gender diversity has a significant effect on IC disclosure. The findings of this study suggest that policymakers and standard makers must consider the inclusion of IC disclosure on the annual report as mandatory.

We investigated the foodservice management practices in various operation types of childcare centers in Asan, Chungnam Province, with the intention of improving the quality of foodservice and providing the basic information for establishing more effective and efficient foodservice model system. Self-completed questionnaires were collected from the directors of 174 child care centers. The statistical analysis was completed using SPSS Ver. 12.0 program. The followings are about the results of this study. Approximately 94.8% of the directors were women with the average age of 40.3. All of the investigated facilities executed foodservice; the facilities of 96.2% had been self-operated, 1.9% was contract-managed and the remaining 1.9% served delivered meal from outside. Only 20.0% of the investigated centers employed a dietitian. In most of the centers, meals were prepared in a conventional manner and approximately 85.3% of the centers are serving only snacks twice a day as a supplementary due to financial difficulties. Menu planner of the facilities, which have no dietitian was the director (35.8%) or the cook (25.7%). In most centers, the directors purchased the food materials (67.5%). Material inspection was done by the director (54.9%) or the cook (40.5%). However, home care centers did not inspect the food material. These results indicate that food service management guidelines need to be established by the facility type with the government control and financial support. Especially, dietitian employment and the efficient foodservice model system establishment are questions that confront us.

Jane Campion's is a well-known film for a number of reasons, such as for being an Oscar winner, for having been helmed by an emerging director from New Zealand, and for having the reputation of being a feminist film. In this paper, the first scene of was chosen to examine the heroine Ada's language in terms of the gothic genre. Ada is a dumb woman who lives in the era of man's language. She represents the women's social position in the Victorian era but has her own and unique language for communicating with the outside world. The first scene of introduces Ada's own language, using her fingers. Her fingers speak for her all the time instead of her mouth, and there is someone who can understand what she wants to say when all others cannot. How the film depicts Ada's language and how the first scene well summarizes the film's core are examined herein.

Women were used as their own controls in the comparison of presterilization and poststerilization menstrual patterns. Five parameters were studied: regularity of cycle length, duration and amount of flow and incidence of dysmenorrhea and intermenstrual bleeding. Three parameters in the electrocoagulation group (regularity of cycle length and duration and amount of flow) and one parameter in the tubal ring group (duration of flow) showed significant changes after sterilization. However, by controlling for the effect of previous contraceptive methods used, no significant menstrual pattern changes following sterilization were discerned in either technique group.

This study aims to understand the importance of stage costumes, examine and analyze their theoretical ideas in order to propose new designs and support the studies and advances of stage costumes in play. The writer operated and produced the costume designs of Shakespeare's play, Measure for Measure as a costume director, which was played on September 16 to 17, 2011 at the Haneul Theater in the National Theater of Korea and on September 3, 2011 at the Jinnam Munye Theater. The study was followed by 1. Proposing a new modern point of view of the design of the traditional dresses in 16th to 17th centuries. 2. Expressing a symbolism based on personality, role and nature of characters in the play by a creative and modern image of the dress in color, line, and silhouette, which are basic factors of a clothes design.

우리나라는 1997년 IMF 경제위기 이후 기업의 지배구조와 관련한 상법과 증권거래법 등이 수차례에 걸쳐 개정을 통한 정비가 되었다. 기업지배구조에 대한 문제는 우리나라 경우에만 한정되는 것이 아니라 미국을 비롯한 유럽 등 많은 선진국에서 중요한 문제점으로 대두되고 있는 것이 사실이다. 특히 우리나라에서 기업지배구조와 관련하여 많은 문제가 발생되고 있는 것은 지배주주와 경영진의 기업경영에 대한 감독 등이 제대로 이루어지지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 지배주주와 기업 경영진들에게 그에 책임을 제대로 묻지 않았기 때문이다. 그리고 아직도 우리나라 대부분의 기업들에 있어서 오너 경영자의 소유주식 비중이 높은 관계로 의사결정권을 독선적으로 행사하는 등 사실상 경영의 건전성을 확보할 수 없었던 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이사회가 본연의 기능을 회복하고 바람직한 지배구조를 개선하는데 있어서 걸림돌이 되는 부분을 검토하고 그에 대한 효율적인 개선안을 제시하고자 함이 연구의 목적이다.

논문은 리안(李安)영화가 진행하는 여성 재현(응시)의식을 살펴보고자 한다. 미국 사회에서 활동하고 있는 리안의 문화적 정체성에 주목하며, 때로는 주류가 아닌 주변인으로 위축되고 억눌려졌던 자신의 불안한 위치와 정체성을 여성과 동일시했다고 하는 감독의 영화의식 속에서 '여성'을 들여다보고자 한다. 논문은 서양사회에서 대만인 디아스포라 동양 남성 감독 리안이 영화에서 '여성'을 어떻게 재현하고 있는지, 동양 남성으로서 가부장제 남성 의식을 내면화하고 있는 그가 '여성'에 대해 어떤 응시를 진행하는지 주변인(이방인)으로서 중심을 어떻게 해체하고 있는지 그의 방식을 살펴보고자 한다. 리안 영화는 여성들이 국가권력에 의해 구국의식 안으로 포획되고 있는 지점을 연출하고 있다. 국가는 그녀들에게 구국이라는 대의의 책무와 책임을 강제하고, 이런 국가에 그녀들은 때로 균열을 진행한다. 식민 조국의 해방에 적극 동참하지만 그 속에서 국가가 보여주는 기만성을 폭로하고, 또 생명을 조작하며 안보 강화만을 주장하는 국가의식의 허위성을 폭로한다. 또 그의 영화는 동 서양의 부권(父權)과 부권(夫權)을 해체하기도 한다. 감독은 중국 여성의 신체가 식민자 앞에서 발가벗겨져 전시되고 구국이라는 이름으로 강제되는지 주목한다. 그녀들의 신체는 가부장제 이데올로기에 억눌려 이상 징후를 보이거나 아들을 낳는 생산의 도구로 강요되고, 중화 전통 문화 아래 감정의 표출을 억압당하며 절제된 감정의 신체로 표상되고 있다.
