Wireless mesh networks enlarge the wireless coverage area by interconnecting relatively stationary wireless routers (mesh routers). As wireless mesh networks are envisioned to provide high-bandwidth broadband Internet service to a large community of users, the Internet gateway, which acts as a central point of Internet attachment for the mesh networks, is likely to suffer heavily from the scramble for shared wireless resources because of aggregated traffic toward the Internet. It causes performance decrement on end-to-end transmissions. We propose a scheme to balance the load in a mesh network based on link quality variation to different Internet gateways. Moreover, under the mesh coverage, mobile nodes can move around and connect to nearby mesh routers while still keeping the connections to the Internet through the best gateway in terms of link quality. In this structure, gateways perform the balancing procedure through wired links. Information about gateways and mobile node's location is distributed appropriately so that every mesh router can quickly recognize the best gateway as well as the positions of mobile nodes. This distributed information assists mobile nodes to perform fast handoff. Significant benefits are shown by the performance analysis.

The requirements to use high speed internet under wireless environment are increased. To satisfy the requirements. the WiBro service combining high speed of wired internet service with mobility of wireless internet service will be launched as an alternative. This paper reviews and analyzes its overview, features, and comparison with existing mobile internet and wireless LAN in the information providing aspect. This paper also proposes how to adapt mobile information service and how to satisfy the requirements to construct mobile library based on the WiBro service. With the current problems in mobile-based information services provided by libraries. especially this paper proposes information service areas. considerations to provide information services, and service provisioning method based on the WiBro service.

Wireless Internet is capable of transmitting data for voice, text and video by wireless network, and recently wireless internet industry is one of the most widely issued. It is categorized into two parts: one is mobile internet and the other wireless internet. Wireless internet's major feature are anytime/anywhere connectionable, portable and multimedia service. And, the markets are increasingly bigger than any other time. In this paper, wireless internet standardization and protocols are described.

With the rapid development of heterogeneous emerging wireless technologies and numerous types of mobile devices, the need to support robust mobile video streaming based on the seamless handover in Future Internet is growing. To support the seamless handover, several IP-based mobility management protocols such as Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6), fast handover for the MIPv6 (FMIPv6), Hierarchical MIPv6 (HMIPv6) and Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) were developed. However, MIPv6 depreciates the Quality-of-Service (QoS) and FMIPv6 is not robust for the video services in heterogeneous emerging wireless networks when the Mobile Node (MN) may move to another visited network in contrast with its anticipation. In Future Internet, the possibility of mobile video service failure is more increased because mobile users consisting of multiple wireless network interfaces (WNICs) can frequently change the access networks according to their mobility in heterogeneous wireless access networks such as 3Generation (3G), Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMax) and Bluetooth co-existed. And in this environment, seamless mobility is coupled according to user preferences, enabling mobile users to be "Always Best Connected" (ABC) so that Quality of Experience is optimised and maintained. Even though HMIPv6 and PMIPv6 are proposed for the location management, handover latency enhancement, they still have limit of local mobility region. In this paper, we propose a robust mobile video streaming in Heterogeneous Emerging Wireless Systems. In the proposed scheme, the MN selects the best-according to an appropriate metric-wireless technology for a robust video streaming service among all wireless technologies by reducing the handover latency and initiation time when handover may fail. Through performance evaluation, we show that our scheme provides more robust mechanism than other schemes.

Until now, most of the studies about the internet service have focused mainly on the adoption of on-line(wired) internet services, while there have relatively been very few studies about the adoption and usage of wireless or mobile internet services. The generic model explaining the adoption behaviors of wireless internet services has not been made yet. Previous studies of that area is not so easy to find. The purposes of this paper are two-folds. The first is to find the factors affecting the users' intention and commitment behavior of mobile internet services. The second is to find the relative importance of the factors in users making decisions about users' usage intention and commitment behavior. In the theoretical part of this paper, the precedent studies concerning the technology acceptance model and the theories of on-line internet services adoption, the theories of the mobile internet services, are reviewed and analyzed.

Mobile Internet has different platform cause interrupt activation of mobile internet because contents providers have each different development environment. To use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) developer by KWISF(Korea Wireless Internet Standard Forum) founded to solve this problem guarantee independence of hardware and interpretation of mobile application. In this paper, we research method to activate WIPI which is standard platform to develop applications easily and efficiently in mobile environment and we implement WIPI application to show the excellent of WIPI in mobile development environment.

Studies about wireless internet have been focused on technology issues and few studies were shown in the adoption of wireless internet services. This study uses Technology Acceptance Model in order to understand influencing factors in acceptance of wireless internet services. Reviewing by TAM related studies, this study regards the influencing factors as personal and social environmental dimensions in the case of wireless internet services, and these two factors are used. Two dependent variables-intention and current usage-are adopted for analyzing the effects of the two factors on two dependent variables via mediating variables. The results of this study show that age, frequency of mobile phone usage, occupation, and the recognition level of wireless internet services affected the intention and current usage of these services.
