People with obesity or over-weight need nutritional intervention to reduce their weight, because weight loss reduces the incidence rate of chronic diseases such as hypertension, type II diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer in obese people. This study was to develop a system for individualized weight control program available both for wired and wireless internet users. This system is especially useful to users carrying wireless internet mobile device. If they input their physical information (height, weight and waist circumference) and mineral levels measured by hair tissue mineral analysis, the system provides evaluation of their health status and metabolic related functions such as endocrine and carbohydrate tolerance. Based on these evaluations, food menus are then offered to them to manage their health status and to improve their metabolic related physiological functions in a personalized way. The system also provides more information for recommended foods, such as nutritional information, food ingredients, recipes, and videos related to cooking. Bibimbap was selected as an example dish for customized contents for mobile web. Bibimbap is one of the most well-known Korean traditional dishes prepared with various kinds of ingredients including several different kinds of vegetables, meat, and egg so that it is a low calorie dish as well as a well-balanced diet. Therefore, this system developed in this study allows the mobile users to access web site through wired wireless internet everywhere and provides a customized content to the users to manage their weight and finally to achieve a desirable weight.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a technology of transmitting and receiving voice and data over the Internet network. As the telecommunication industry is moving toward All-IP environment with growth of broadband Internet, the technology is becoming more important. Although the early VoIP services failed to gain popularity because of problems such as low QoS (Quality of Service) and inability to receive calls as the phone number could not be assigned, they are currently established as the alternative service to the conventional wired telephone due to low costs and active marketing by carriers. However, VoIP is vulnerable to eavesdropping and DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack due to its nature of using the Internet. To counter the VoIP security threats efficiently, it is necessary to develop the criterion or the model for estimating the information security level of VoIP service providers. In this study, we developed reasonable security indicators through questionnaire study and statistical approach. To achieve this, we made use of 50 items from VoIP security checklists and verified the suitability and validity of the assessed items through Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) using SPSS 18.0. As a result, we drew 23 indicators and calculate the weight of each indicators using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The proposed indicators in this study will provide feasible and reliable data to the individual and enterprise VoIP users as well as the reference data for VoIP service providers to establish the information security policy.
The performance in combination of wired and wireless mesh network which will be a main access network in future internet is directly linked with service quality to users. In this paper, we evaluate variant TCP performance and analyze traffic characteristics on Wireless (Seoul National University Mesh testbed) - Wired (KOREN/Abilene) - Wireless (HP Mesh testbed in the USA) Network. We found that RTT is proper in this network to serve a VoIP service. Also we propose an enhanced TCP protocol which can perform well in both wireless network which has many packet losses and wired network which has high bandwidth and long delay.
Integration of mobile networks and Internet has started with 2.5 generation of mobile cellular networks. Internet traffic is today dominant traffic type worldwide. The hanger for higher data rates needed for data traffic and new IP based services is essential in the development of future wireless networks. In such situation, even 3G with up to 2 Mbit/s has not provided data rates that are used by Internet users with fixed broadband dial-up or through wired local area networks. The solution to provide higher bit rates in wireless access network has been found in wireless LAN although initially it has been developed to extend wired LAN into wireless domain. In this paper, we propose and describe a solution created for interoperability between mobile cellular network and WLAN. The integration between two networks, cellular and WLAN, is performed on the authentication, authorization, and accounting, i.e., AAA side. For that purpose we developed WLAN access controller and WLAN AAA gateway, which provide gateway-type access control as well as charging and billing functionalities for the WLAN service. In the development process of these elements, we have considered current development stadium of all needed network entities and protocols. The provided solution provides cost-effective and easy-to-deploy PLMN-WLAN Internetworking scenario.
Mobile internet has been emerged as a key IT infrastructure while mobile internet service equipments such as smart phones have been introduced in this mobile market. These mobile internet services would be more widely spread in shorter period because the wired internet services are already popular in our life and mobile internet services have the typical characteristics that ubiquitous has. This study investigates the research model for mobile internet services based on previous researches and tests it via questionnaire. The findings are that some of features such as joy and sufficiency are statistically significant as expected.

The recent Internet is changing from its best-effort service and needs the network structure and traffic engineering, which can support various applications requiring differentiated traffic processing and high quality of service. The extension of the Internet from wired to wireless system generating location-dependent and burst errors make more difficult to support a good service with the existing packet scheduling algorithm. In this paper, we propose a wireless diffserv packet scheduling (WDSPS) algorithm that can provide reliable service in the differentiated wireless internet service network. The proposed scheduling algorithm solves the HOL(head of line) blocking problems of class queue occurred in wireless network, supports the differentiated service for each class which is defined in differentiated service networks and makes possible the gradual and efficient service compensation not only among classes but also among flows to prevent the monopoly of one class or one flow. Through simulations, we show that our proposed WDSPS scheduling algorithm can provide the required QoS differentiation between classes and enhance the service throughput in various wireless network conditions.
A framework for structural health monitoring (SHM) systems is presented utilizing a recent 3.5 generation mobile telecommunication technology, HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access). It may be effectively applied to monitoring bridges, cut-slopes, and other facilities located in rural areas where the conventional Internet service is not readily available, since HSDPA is currently commercialized in 86 countries to make the Internet access possible in anywhere the mobile phone service is available. The proposed SHM framework is also incorporating remote desktop software to have remote control/operation of the SHM systems. The feasibility of the proposed framework has been demonstrated by field tests on a highway bridge in operation. One can expect that fast advances in the mobile telecommunication technology will further enhance the performance of the SHM network using the proposed framework for bridges and other facilities located in remote areas without the conventional wired Internet service.

IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)is the point in commercial and broadcast content from the numerous channels that are growing exponentially, Many people with mobile devices anywhere, anytime you want to use IPTV, demand will increase. Numerous channels for collecting information about EPG (Electronic Program Guide) service, IP (Internet Protoco) communications using a fast search of content for broadcast EPG is time to take advantage of the service. Using the current wired network, the Android-based IPTV services to take advantage of the EPG in the mobile environment to provide an environment being studied, and Country of the European digital broadcast standard DVB-MHP standard is followed by subsequent research and development of the EPG service is required. In this study, using the existing wired network, IPTV EPG service information of the channel in a mobile environment user-friendly as possible by providing channels for EPG service information to users quickly and easily search for content to provide an environment and Android-based mobile IPTV environment to take advantage of the EPG service channels of broadcast channels with in the EPG service for users to gather information retrieval system is proposed.
The objective of this study is to satisfy requirements for a variety of terminals to play wired web page contents in ubiquitous environment constantly connected to network. In other words, this study intended to automatically transcode wired web page into mobile web page in order to receive service by using mobile base to carry contents in Internet web page. To achieve this objective, we suggest the method that is to directly enter URL of web page in mobile device and to check contents of the current web page. For this, web page is converted into an image and configured into a mobile web page suitable for personal terminals. Users can obtain the effect of having web services provided by using computer with interfaces to expand, reduce and move the web page as desired. This is a caret unit play method, with which contents of web page are transcoded and played to suit each user According to the method proposed in this study, contents of wired web page can be played by using a mobile device. This study confirms that a single content can be serviced to suit users of various terminals. Through this, it will be able to reuse numerous wired web contents as mobile web contents.
Currently, the commercialization of the $5^{th}$ Generation (5G) service is becoming more prevalent in domestic communication network technology. This has reduced communication delay time and enabled large-capacity data transmission and video streaming services in real-time. In order to keep pace with these developments, K-water has introduced a smart process control system in water purification plants to monitor the status of the water purification process. However, since wireless networks are based on the public Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, communication delay time remains high, and high-resolution video services are limited. This is because communication networks still have a closed structure due to expense and security issues. Therefore, with 5G in its current form, it is very difficult to accommodate future services without improving the infrastructure of its communication networks. In recognition of these problems, this study implemented the authentication and management function of wireless networks on a wired network management system in the K-water Bansong water purification plant. The results confirmed that wired Local Area Network (LAN) services give a higher security performance than an expensive commercial wireless LAN system. This was achieved by using an Internet Protocol (IP) address management system of wired networks and the packet filtering function of the Layer2 (L2) switch. This study also confirmed that it is possible to create a wireless LAN service that is 3.7 times faster than the existing LTE communication network.
