This study investigates the customer satisfaction based on the various levels of many factors such as age, sex, period, motive, preference between wired and mobile service, frequency, and time. Customer satisfaction is measured by 13 dimensions. MANOVA reveals that preference between wired and mobile commerce service, mobile service frequency, mobile e-mail service frequency, wired Internet usage frequency, and mobile Internet usage time have a significant effect on the overall satisfaction. Transmission speed, fare, and ease of operation of mobile Internet service turn out to be improved for better customer satisfaction, the IMT-2000 service in particular.

This paper investigates the relationship of service quality and user satisfaction in the wired and mobile Internet services based on the integrative framework of both systems. Given a moderate level of reliability and validity, the commonly driven dimensions for measuring service quality include responsiveness, assurance, empathy, convenience, usefulness, and diversity. User satisfaction is measurable by the dimensions of communication/entertainment, finance/economics, location/geography, and information/consulting. We apply the MANOVA tests to evaluate whether each of the service quality dimensions has an overall influence on user satisfaction. Next, multiple regression analyses are conducted to check if unique positive effect exists between each combination of service quality dimensions and user satisfaction dimensions. The results show that service quality must be taken care of with respect to the assurance dimension in order to enhance customer satisfaction in the dimensions of location/geography, which will contribute to increasing the utilization of mobile service. For improving user satisfaction in the dimension of information/consulting, service quality must be supported with respect to assurance and empathy in the mobile Internet market, in addition to diversity, which is the only significant service quality in the wired Internet service.

현재 유선 인터넷 환경에서는 이미지를 표현하기 위하여 대부분 GIF와 JPG를 이용하며, 무선 인터넷 환경에서는 SVG, wBMP, SIS, PNG, Flash Lite 등과 같은 다양한 이미지 파일들을 이용한다. 따라서 유${\cdot}$무선인터넷을 동시에 지원하기 위한 콘텐츠를 제작하는 경우 이중으로 제작비용이 소요되는 문제점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유무선 인터넷을 동시에 지원할 수 있는 서비스를 재발할 때, SVG를 효율적으로 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 유${\cdot}$무선 인터넷을 동시에 지원하는 서비스에 SVG를 이용함으로써 유${\cdot}$무선 인터넷 기반의 콘텐츠를 제작할 때 기업이 지출해야 하는 개발비용을 크게 줄일 수 있다.

The Quality of Experience (QoE) of next Generation wired/wireless network services based upon IP networking is becoming a popular issue in recent years. The user experience of Internet services such as IPTV, online game, web surfing and etc, are becoming the most desirable factors to service providers to improve service performance and customer's satisfaction. However, collecting user experience from customers and obtaining the QoE parameters from the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as bandwidth, delay, jitter or admission control algorithm, are difficult subjects because of the various service types and user characteristics. In this paper, we propose a framework which contains service classification, QoE analysis and service enhancement steps for a suitable QoE measurement and management protocol. We define the user satisfaction indicators of the Internet services, classify the categories of each type of services, and analyse the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in each type of services to perform the QoS parameters and improving the service qualities.

This paper predicts how mobile Internet portal services will go ahead and what contents will be needed at the portal site. Mobile Internet interface needs to be concise and compressed because of the size of terminals Thus mobile internal service wants integrated portal service We study the service strategy for mobile internet portal Service according to the product life cycle Many Korean people who have used 'wired and fixed' Internet services and mobile phones want the mobile Internet portal to provide many attractive functions and high quality of service Thus we consider the current Korean mobile Internet service as the maturity phase of its life cycle The maturity phase needs the strategy of diversifying and focusing on, thus we recommend the hub portal model for Korean mobile Internet service, In this paper, we survey contents of mobile Internet portal service as a case study. With the result of the analysis, we present the promising contents as follows: video conference service, financial service, stock trading service, traffic information service, location map service, emergency rescue service, and so on.

In this paper, an intelligent notification system has been presented. The system operates on both wired and wireless internet. When a new message has been uploaded in a bulletin board systems(BBS) on HTTP web server, it sends the same message to their cellular phones of all members of a given group at the same time via SMS(Short Message Service). In addition, on reading SMS message, those who read them respond to a WAP server using pulling technique via wireless internet. Therefore, the HTTP server does know the members who did not read the message yet. Two different web servers, the HTTP server and the WAP server, running on a single system has been implemented. They share the single database which covers al1 related information about the BBS. The set of experiments shows that the notification system works well as we have expected Thus, we conclude that the proposed system that operates on both wired and wireless internet is the one of successful model for such environments.

최근 차세대통합네트워크(NGN), ALL-IP 망 진화 방향과 함께 동기식과 비동기식 IMT-2000 망의 통합(Convergence) 또는 연동(Harmonization)에 관한 연구가 활발히 이뤄지고 있으며, 이동통신 망의 개방화에 대한 분위기가 점차 무르익어 가고 있다. 이러한 추세에 UMTS, cdma2000, WLAN 과 같은 서로 다른 방식의 무선 액세스 망으로부터 요구되는 무선인터넷 접속 요구를 하나의 통로로 연결하고 수용할 수 있는 모바일 액세스 통합 게이트웨이가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 네트워크 발전 방향과 이동통신 망 개방의 흐름에 맞추어 동기식 망과 비동기식 IMT-2000 망에서 동시에 무선인터넷 서비스 접속을 제공하는 통합 게이트웨이 시스템(A-MiDAS)을 개발하기 위한 형상 설계 방법과 시스템 개발 시 고려사항 등에 대해서 기술한다.

본 논문에서는 현재 유무선 망에서 사용가능한 새로운 모바일 네트워크 서비스인 PMOD(Private Music on Demand) 서비스를 소개하고 이를 구현한 모바일 디제이(Mobile DJ) 시스템에 대해서 소개한다. 새로운 개념의 PMOD 서비스는 유무선으로 통합되는 통신환경에서 개인의 취향 및 기호에 따라서 음악 서비스를 정비하여 사용할 수 있도록 하는 서비스로써, 사용자가 원하는 환경에서 원하는 음악서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하는 개념을 바탕으로 한다. 더불어서 이를 지원하는 모바일 디제이는 음악서비스를 개인의 취향에 맞도록 변경하는 서비스를 제공하여 기존의 단순히 듣기만 하는 음악에서 한차원 달라진 음악서비스를 제공하게 될 것이다.

최근 인터넷과 무선통신기술의 융합으로 인한 Mobile서비스의 급격한 발전으로 인해 무선 인터넷 시장이 도입 및 성장단계에 이르렀다. 그러나 현재 국내 5개의 이동통신 회사들은 각각 다른 markup-language와 플랫폼 및 컨텐츠들을 사용하여 무선인터넷 서비스를 하고 있는 실점이다. 이러한 무선인터넷 환경에서 서로 다른 무선 인터넷 플랫폼의 통합 컨텐츠에 관한 연구와 개발의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 HTML 문서의 분석을 통해 WML과 HDML, M-HTML, S-HTML, C-HTML 등으로 자동 변환하는 유무선 플랫폼 통합 컨텐츠 변환기를 설계하여 다양한 플랫폼 상의 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠 개발 시 유지 및 보수가 용이하도록 하고자 한다.

무선 인터넷에 대한 수요가 날로 증가하고 있는 가운데 무선 인터넷이 보다 활성화되기 위해서는 반드시 해결해야 될 문제가 있는데, 보안 문제가 바로 그것이다. 특히 음성 위주의 이동통신에서는 도청만이 문제가 되었지만 증권이나 뱅킹같이 단순한 정보 서비스를 뛰어넘는 상거래 활동이 이루어지는 데이터 서비스에서는 사용자 인증, 데이터 무결성 보장 등 해결해야 할 문제가 많다. 이에 무선 인터넷 환경에서 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 유선 인터넷 환경에서와 같은 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 무선 PH(WPKI: Wireless Public Key Infrastructure)의 필요성이 대두되었다. 즉, 유선 인터넷 환경에서 제공되는 기밀성, 무결성, 부인봉쇄 등의 보안 서비스를 무선 인터넷 환경에서도 제공하기 위해서는, 먼저 무선 PKI가 구축되고 서비스가 활성화되어야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 무선 인터넷 서비스를 위한 다양한 무선 인터넷 기술들과 그에 사용되는 무선 PKI기술 그리고 이에 적용 가능한 무선 PKI 표준들에 대해 분석하였다. 본 논문의 수행 결과로는 안전한 무선 PKI 서비스의 활성화와 더불어 무선 인터넷 뱅킹 서비스, 주식 거래, 온라인 쇼핑 등 무선 인터넷을 이용한 전자 상거래의 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
