고속철도 차량 내 혼잡도 완화에 대한 지불 용의액 추정 연구 (Estimation of Willingness-to-pay for Mitigating Crowdedness in High-speed Rail Trains)

  • 최근 고속철도 평균 좌석이용률이 98% 수준에 이르면서 고속철도 차량 내 혼잡이 발생하는 문제가 나타났고, 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 고속철도 차량 내 혼잡도 완화에 따른 고속철도 이용자들의 편익을 추정하기 위하여 이용자들의 지불 용의액을 산정하였다. 진술선호자료에 근간한 조건부 가치측정법과 토빗(Tobit) 모형을 통해 지불 용의액을 추정한 결과, 지불 용의액은 소득 수준 및 혼잡도 수준과 비례하는 것으로 나타났으며, 남성, 특실이용자, 자유석 및 정기권 이용자의 지불 용의액이 높고, 주말 이용자, 주부, 통근목적이나 여가목적 이용자들은 지불 용의액이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 산정된 지불 용의액은 철도운영자들의 좌석공급 확대를 위한 노력에 대하여 정부의 지원근거나 사회적 편익을 계량화할 수 있는 근거를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

해양레저선박의 지불의사금액 가치평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluating the Willingness to Pay for Marine Leisure Ship)

  • 본 연구는 비시장재의 경제적 가치를 추정할 수 있는 조건부가치측정법을 통해 해양레저선박의 지불의사금액을 추정하기 위해 수행되었다. 설문지는 이중양분형선택 방식을 채택했으며, 지불의사금액 평가를 위한 변수로는 선행연구를 통해 검증된 인구통계학적 변수, 응답자 행태 변수, 관련 정보에 관한 변수로 구성하였다. 총 309부의 설문지를 회수하여 분석한 결과 해양레저선박에 대한 지불의사금액은 25,510원으로 추정되었다. 또한 지불의사금액에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수는 섬 방문경험, 신규 해상교통수단 도입시 만족도, 섬 재방문 의사인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 조건부가치측정법을 활용하여 해양레저선박의 지불의사금액을 추정함으로써 보다 객관적인 신규 해상교통수단의 경제적 가치평가의 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This study attempted to estimating economic value of environmental resource by using the contingent valuation method(CVM), known as one of the tool measuring the economic benefits. To analysis the preservation value of Bong-seo Mt.. the surveys were conducted for citizens resident in Cheonan city. The sample sizes of the survey were 200 respectively. The survey method adopted face-to-face interview method as a mean of correcting useful response. This study considers models for evaluating the willingness to pay(WTP) based on payment card contingent valuation survey data and has attempted to measure goodness of fit for the data obtained from the survey design. It was estimated that the average WTP of Cheonan citizens for a maintenance and management of Bong-seo Mt. was 5,010 won per month and 60 ,118 won per year. When it is translated by total number of households in Cheonan city, there is the preservation value of approximately 8.8 billion won per year. On the other hand, total expense of development increased about 1.7 times over including application of the preservation value.

  • 교통혼잡은 통행시간의 손실과 에너지 낭비뿐만 아니라 막대한 사회적 비용을 발생시킨다. 서울시는 도심통행료 도입, 대중교통체계개편 등 다양한 교통정책을 실행해 오고 있으나, 수도권외곽의 택지개발등으로 시계 유출입 교통량은 크게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구의 목적은 광역급행버스시스템 (Bus Rapid Transit: BRT)과의 정책결합을 통한 혼잡통행료제도 확대시행에 따른 지불의사액 (Willingness-To-Pay: WTP)을 추정하는 것이다. 분석을 위해 가구방문 직접면접조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 크게 두 가지 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 첫째는 일인당 지불의사액 분석이고 둘째는 형평성 분석이다. 일인당 지불의사액 분석은 개별 시나리오에 대한 통행자가 현재 통행수단 유지를 위한 보상변화(Compensating Variation, CV)규모를 지불의사액의 개념에 따라 측정하는 것이다. 지불의사액 도출을 위해서는 조건부가치측정법(Contingent Valuation Method : CVM)을 적용하였다. 형평성 분석은 정책 시나리오에 대해 통행자를 소득계층별로 구분하여 현재 통행수단 유지를 위한 보상변화를 측정하고, 이것이 계층별 평균소득에서 차지하는 비중을 계산함으로써 정책 시행효과를 확인하는 것이다.

  • The dichotomous-choice contingent valuation method is applied to estimate the landscape value of Jeju Island's stonewall fencing farming land. A distribution-free approach, Turnbull empirical distribution model, is employed to solve negative willingness to pay and truncation problems. The data used are collected from the interviews with tourist about willingness-to-pay at the various donation amount levels of Jeju stonewall's landscape value. The evaluation result is shown that the average amount of willingness to pay for the Jeju stonewall fencing farming land is 3,001 won per meter with standard deviation of 511.0 won/m.

퍼지이론을 이용한 지불의사액의 추정 (Measurement of Willingness to Pay by Using Fuzzy Theory)

  • 본 연구는 이산선택 조건부가치측정법에 내재되어 있는 응답자의 선호의 불확실성 문제를 퍼지이론을 통해 해결하려 한 것으로, 멸종위기에 처해 있는 한국산 토종반달곰의 보존에 대한 지불의사액을 추정하는 분석과정에 퍼지소속도 함수를 적용하였다. 퍼지소속도 이론은 애매모호한 상황의 불명확성을 추정하는 방법론으로, 이를 조건부가치측정법에 적용하면 해당 환경재에 대한 지불의사액과 응답자들의 진술에 대한 확신도를 동시에 도출해낼 수 있다. 본 연구를 위해 우리나라 7대 광역시에 거주하는 성인남녀 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였으며 양분선택형 조건부가치측정법이 사용되었다. 한국산 토종반달곰 보존에 대한 지불의사액은 가구당 월 9,090원으로 계산되었으며 퍼지소속도함수로 계산된 응답의 확신도는 78%인 것으로 추정되었다.

스토리텔링 마케팅이 소비자의 가치 인식 및 가격 지불의사에 미치는 영향 분석 - 스마트팜 재배 과채류를 사례로 - (An Analysis of the Effect of Storytelling Marketing on Consumers' Value Perception and Willingness to Pay - The Case of Fruits and Vegetables Grown in Smart Farms -)

  • Smart farm farmers invest a lot of facility costs, time and effort. Product differentiation using storytelling marketing is important for the profitability of smart farms, since it is not easy to differentiate products between fruits and vegetables grown in smart farms and conventional facilities. This study empirically analyzes the effect of storytelling marketing on consumers' value perception and willingness to pay for fruit and vegetables grown in smart farms. For this purpose, the survey is conducted on 1,050 consumers and the main results are as follows. First, as a result of evaluating consumers' value perception, consumers perceive the value of comparative products (product 2 and 3) to be higher than the base product (product 1). Product 2 and 3 provide richer stories than product 1. Second, the willingness to pay for product 3, which provides the richest story, was the highest, followed by product 2, and then product 1. This means storytelling marketing could be an effective strategy that increases the value of fruits and vegetables grown in smart farms. Third, more than half of the respondents are willing to use QR codes when purchasing fresh agricultural products. Farmers could use QR codes to provide rich stories for effective storytelling marketing.

대학교 급식 소비자들의 닭고기 소비행태에 관한 연구 : 식품안전인증(HACCP)과 친환경인증 비교를 중심으로 (An Analysis on Consumers' Behavior of Chicken Meat at the Cafeterias of University: Focusing on Comparison between Food Safety Certified Chicken Meat and Environment-friendly Chicken Meat)

  • Even though consumers' concern about food-safety certified or environment-friendly chicken meat becomes one of the main issues of food consumption in Korea, university students' interest about food-safety certified or environment-friendly chicken meat was not often discussed. We realized that the cafeteria of university is one of the largest consumption points for the chicken meat of university students, and tried to analyze university students' consumption of food-safety certified or environment-friendly chicken meat at the cafeterias of university. The object of this paper is to conduct survey analysis about the students' behavior for consumption of food-safety certified or environment-friendly chicken meat at the cafeterias of university and to measure WTP(Willingness-to-pay) for the food cooked with food-safety certified or environment-friendly chicken meat. The results present that most of students show higher preference of environment-friendly chicken meat than food-safety certified chicken meat, and that they can pay 1,329.9 Korean won for food cooked with environment-friendly chicken meat.

오염토양 정화의 비용편익분석 -독일 오스나부릭 도시 사례-

  • The aim of this study was to analyse the cost-benefit-ratio of a soil remediation project. The target of the study was the 'Altablagerung Osnabrueck-Wueste' the largest inhabited former landfill site in Germany. The determination of benefit resulting from the soil remediation was quantified with the help of willingness-to-pay(WTP) analysis (contingent valuation method, CVM). 400 households participated in the survey. The average WTP was 6.5 Euro per household per month or 78 Euro per house-hold per year. The projected benefit generated by the remediation (consumer value) for the population in the landfill area was determined to be 0.7 million Euro per year. Factors which influence the will-ingness to pay were evaluated. The most important factors were age, garden use and the prevailing concern about personal health. A computation of the cost-benefit relationship was made on the basis of three different scenarios, which differed in terms of the projected benefits. Finally the economical efficiency of the project was determined. With a projection of 18 years and upwards the remediation of the soil is economically worthwhile.

Evaluation of the Non-use Values of Taishan Mountain Cultural Heritage

  • The contingent valuation method (CVM) is one of the most commonly used and effective methods to evaluate non-use value of resources. Reasonable application of CVM to value the cultural heritage is the key process of evaluation. CVM was used to evaluate the non-use value of cultural heritage of Taishan Mountain combined with questionnaire survey and field research in this study. The results indicated that the importance of the degree of the three components of non-use value was heritage value ranked highest (40.22%) > followed by existence value (38.58%) >then option value (21.20%). In addition, the rate of willingness to pay was 54.52%, the average and median values of per person were 40.17 CNY·a-1 and 20.00 CNY·a-1 and the non-use values of Taishan Mountain cultural heritage was 33 million CNY·a-1. The median value of WTP was consistent with Asian countries but was lower than European and American countries. Factors influencing WTP showed that monthly income and satisfaction with Taishan Mountain were correlated to WTP, and family location and willingness to revist were correlated remarkably with WTP. In addition, monthly income was correlated remarkably with WTP value, however other factors were not. The results showed the importance and necessity of protective development of Taishan Mountain cultural heritage, which would be used as an important reference for decision makers.
