A Study on the Meaning as Regional Facilities of 'Whole life Department Store' Appeared in newspaper from 1987 to 1998 (1987년~1998년 신문지면에 사용된 전생활(全生活)백화점의 지역시설로서 의미)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the architectural meaning of the term 'Whole life Department Store' that appeared in newspapers' in the 1980s. A term of 'Whole Life Department Store' is appeared to explain the emergence of department stores, including the space for a wide range of programs and services they need to live, as well as sales. This word, "Whole life", is a compound of the Whole(全) and Life(生活) and word means the entire life. This will assume that you are separated life. So I was thinking that it could be described as regional facilities that classify and distinguish the necessary space for living and building maintenance, etc. in city and architecture since the modern. And Based on this, I would understand the whole life department as regional facilities. Generally a department store is a regional facilities for higher level living area. I analyzed the location and program of department stores at the time of the emergence of the term. Through this analysis department store was located in the daily range around the apartment complex and contained spaces for the daily life of the inhabitants apartment complex. It is significant in this particular department to be valid today and the term of 'Whole Life' department store is not longer used.

  • Nowadays, the consuming society, the quality of wideness is increasing as the economic life level increases. Modern's any of large department stores, playing a very important role in the middle of our consuming culture, is creating a new life culture and life patterns including producing a new consuming value, too. This is a plan for a renewal design of an inner shop at a department store for brand launching in Seoul, which was planed to escape from the brand's own cold color to show up the product's color using indirect illumination. It was also considered clients' path lines who may keep at a distance to come into an expensive brand's store by designing the whole area as a show room, so there a window display and a harmony with the products let the shop be well functionalized.

A Study on Setting the Shelf Life of Commercial Korean Traditional Cookies: Rice Yoogwa, Sesame Yoogwa and Yackwa (일부 시판되고 있는 한과류 중 쌀유과, 깨유과 및 약과의 적정 유통기한 설정에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted in order to set the shelf life of Rice Yoogwa, Sesame Yoogwa and Yackwa to marketed in department store. It was investigated acid value, peroxide value, microbiological test and sensory evaluation for 50 days. Acid value of Rice Yoogwa, Sesame Yoogwa and Yackwa were not significantly different during storage period. Peroxide values of Rice Yoogwa and Yackwa were significantly increased after 30 days of storage but there was no different in Sesame Yoogwa. Fungus were appeared Sesame Yoogwa of A company, Rice Yoogwa and Yackwa of B company after 40 days of storage. In sensory evaluation, odor, taste, texture and overall acceptability after 40 days were significantly lower than 10 days of storage and rancid odor was gradually increased with preservation period in all materials. Correlation of acid value and peroxide value were positive throughout whole preservation period and rancid odor was increased. Odor, taste, texture and overall acceptability of Yoogwa and Yackwa were negative correlation with preservation period. In view of the above results, it came to the conclusion that shelf life of Yoogwa and Yackwa was 40 days.

Life Styles and the Blood Cadmium Concentration in Korean Adults (한국 성인에서의 생활행태와 혈중 카드뮴 농도)

  • In this study, we analyzed the blood cadmium concentration in general population of Korea, and followed the analyses the relations with epidemiologic factors, life-style and body iron store. The geometric mean concentration of blood cadmium was 1.20 ${\mu}g/L$ in study subject, the level of blood cadmium was higher in female (1.27 ${\mu}g/L$) than in male (1.11 ${\mu}g/L$). The mean concentration of blood cadmium was the highest in coastal area (1.80 ${\mu}g/L$) and followed in urban (1.01 ${\mu}g/L$) and rural area (0.90 ${\mu}g/L$). The cadmium concentration in whole blood was increased with age-dependent pattern, such as 0.64 ${\mu}g/L$ in the below 30 years, 0.95 ${\mu}g/L$ in the 30~44 years, 1.28 ${\mu}g/L$ in the 45~59 years and 1.31 ${\mu}g/L$ in the over 60 years. The level of blood cadmium was higher in smokers than in non-smokers, but was not significant by alcoholic habit. The blood cadmium level was different from occupations, which was the highest in the fishers as 1.87 ${\mu}g/L$. The inversed relation was observed between blood cadmium and serum Fe, while was correlated positively with the ferritin level. In summary, the environmental exposure to cadmium in Korean is not so much compared to other countries, and the blood cadmium is influenced by genetic factors (age and sex), life-styles (dietary habit, occupation and smoking habit) and nutrition such as serum iron.

Securing Sensitive Data in Cloud Storage (클라우드 스토리지에서의 중요데이터 보호)

  • The fast emerging of network technology and the high demand of computing resources have prompted many organizations to outsource their storage and computing needs. Cloud based storage services such as Microsoft's Azure and Amazon's S3 allow customers to store and retrieve any amount of data, at anytime from anywhere via internet. The scalable and dynamic of the cloud storage services help their customer to reduce IT administration and maintenance costs. No doubt, cloud based storage services brought a lot of benefits to its customer by significantly reducing cost through optimization increased operating and economic efficiencies. However without appropriate security and privacy solution in place, it could become major issues to the organization. As data get produced, transferred and stored at off premise and multi tenant cloud based storage, it becomes vulnerable to unauthorized disclosure and unauthorized modification. An attacker able to change or modify data while data inflight or when data is stored on disk, so it is very important to secure data during its entire life-cycle. The traditional cryptography primitives for the purpose of data security protection cannot be directly adopted due to user's lose control of data under off premises cloud server. Secondly cloud based storage is not just a third party data warehouse, the data stored in cloud are frequently update by the users and lastly cloud computing is running in a simultaneous, cooperated and distributed manner. In our proposed mechanism we protect the integrity, authentication and confidentiality of cloud based data with the encrypt- then-upload concept. We modified and applied proxy re-encryption protocol in our proposed scheme. The whole process does not reveal the clear data to any third party including the cloud provider at any stage, this helps to make sure only the authorized user who own corresponding token able to access the data as well as preventing data from being shared without any permission from data owner. Besides, preventing the cloud storage providers from unauthorized access and making illegal authorization to access the data, our scheme also protect the data integrity by using hash function.
