고속전철의 임계속도와 헌팅현상 해석 (Analysis of the Critical Speed and Hunting Phenomenon of a High Speed Train)

  • 차륜과 레일의 접촉은 크리프를 유발한다. 크리프 증가에 따라 크리프력이 선형적으로 증가한다고 가정하는 선형 크리프 이론은 철도차량의 진동이 무한히 발산하는 주행속도인 임계속도를 결정한다. 그러나 실제 크리프력은 일정값에 수렴하며 철도차량의 횡진동은 무한히 증가되지도 않는다. 본 연구에서는 비선형 크리프 이론인 Vermeulen이론, Polach이론, 실제 차륜과 레일의 형상을 고려하여 계산된 줄이론 등을 6 자유도 대차모델에 적용하여 철도차량의 동특성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 철도차량의 진동은 특정 주행속도 이상에서 한계사이클을 만들었으며, 크리프 곡선의 기울기가 클수록 한계사이클이 발생하는 주행속도는 낮아졌다. 또한 한계사이클은 플랜지 접촉으로 인해 그 크기가 제한되는 헌팅현상이 발생됨을 알았다.

  • Concrete sleepers are essential components of the conventional railway. As support elements, sleepers are always subjective to a variety of time-dependent loads attributable to the train operations, either wheel or rail abnormalities. It has been observed that the sleepers may deteriorate due to these loads, inducing the formation of hairline cracks. There are two areas along the sleepers that are more prone to crack: the central and the rail seat sections. Several non-destructive methods have been developed to identify failures in structures. Health monitoring techniques are based on vibration responses measurements, which help engineers to identify the vibration-based damage or remotely monitor the sleeper health. In the present paper, the dynamic effects of the cracks in the vibration signatures of the railway pre-stressed concrete sleepers are investigated. The experimental modal analysis has been used to evaluate the modal bending changes in the vibration characteristics of the sleepers, differentiating between the central and the rail seat locations of the cracks. Modal parameters changes of the 'healthy' and cracked sleepers have been highlighted in terms of natural frequencies and modal damping. The paper concludes with a discussion of the most suitable failure indicator and it defines the vibration signatures of intact, central cracked and rail seat cracked sleepers.

  • 본 논문에서는 최대 견인력 제어를 위해서 부하토크외란관측기와 속도센서리스 백터제어를 이용하여 점착력 계수를 추정하고 추정한 점착력 계수의 미분치를 PI 토크 제어하는 Anti-slip제어를 제안한다. 점착력 계수를 추정하기 위해서는 전압, 전류값 뿐만 아니라 자속이나 속도정보가 필요하다. 따라서 전동기의 회전속도를 정확하게 검출 할 수 있는 속도센서가 필요하게 된다. 그러나 속도검출을 위해 속도센서를 부착하는 것은 여러 가지 면에서 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 속도센서 없는 센서리스 구동방식에 의한 부하토크외란관측기를 설계하여, 점착력 계수를 추정한다. 이와같은 제어 알고리즘을 구현하기 위하여 1C1M 철도모의장치를 이용하여 제안된 알고리즘을 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.

초고속선 실험을 위한 신형식 예인전차의 현가장치 설계시안 (Design Idea of Suspension for Traction Wheel of Novel High Speed Towing Carriage)

  • In the conventional towing tank, the ordinary towing carriage has a speed barrier which caused not only by the limitation of the length of towing tank but also the limitation of acceleration. Therefore the length of the towing tank should be decided carefully from the planning stage of the towing tank construction. Consequently the acceleration of the towing carriage should be taken less than 0.06g practically to avoid the slip of the wheel on rail. Due to the increasing demand of the high speed experiments on the development of special novel ship, the requirement of the high speed towing carriage is continuously increased recently. When the minimum measuring time of the towing experiment is prescribed as five seconds, the carriage should be accelerated with higher than 0.12 g to get the speed of 18 m/sec even in the towing tank having a length of 400m in length approximately. This means that the requirement of acceleration is bigger than twice of the ordinary practices of carriage acceleration. In such a condition the exerted total power of motor could not converted to traction force for the acceleration of the carriage without slip. To over come these difficulties a pair of horizontal traction wheels are reinforced to each of the ordinary vertical carrier wheel and appropriate suspension system has been devised for the towing tank of super high speed operation. It is believed that the design of novel suspension system adaptable for the high speed acceleration of towing carriage will play a important role as a reference for the remodeling of the towing tank for high speed experiment.

  • 열차주행이 고속화 되고 콘크리트궤도가 건설되고 있는 가운데 레일 체결장치는 저탄성화로 전달하중, 소음, 진동 등을 저감 하려는 추세이다. 따라서 저탄성패드의 적용은 궤도전체의 내구성과 안정성에 미치는 영향이 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 다룬 패드스프링계수별 정적해석과 실물반복재하시험에 이어 동적응답해석을 추가적으로 수행하였다. 열차바퀴를 실물로 모델링하여 레일위에서 직접 주행시킴으로서 이 때 발생하는 궤도각부의 변형특성을 비교 분석하여 저탄성패드의 스프링계수에 따라 노반으로 전달되는 하중의 저감 효과를 검토하였다.

  • A performance delivers the contents and feeling through human bodies and stage settings in the limited space of a stage. Among the stage settings, the lighting creates overall atmospheres effectively according to the situations of the performance such as a time flow, a change of seasons, an expression of the mental state of the performer. As the LED lighting is used more widely, the number and the size of the lighting is being decreased, which makes it possible for various devices to be used. However, just as conventional lighting devices, most of them are fixed. So it is difficult to use them at a blind spot and to replace them. To solve this problem, this article suggests a system which replaces lighting automatically and moves. As it can moved to a spot we want on a rail, and the lighting system can be replaced by itself, it can have various lighting effects, increasing the effectiveness of the performance. Additionally, it can also decrease the danger of a worker operating the lighting device located at a high place. At the mock-up experiment, its mobility and stability on a rail were tested using the wheel of the Modular Robot.

모형기차의 구동부 설계를 위한 동역학적 성능해석 (Analysis of Dynamic Performance of Model Tranis for Their Drive Train Design)

  • Model trains should have very similar motion characteristics to real trains in order to provide realistic feeling to their operators. Main purpose of dynamic analysis of model trains is to predict velocities in straight and circular tracks and estimate stopping distance after power shut off. Equations of motion for a model train are derived that relates velocity, traction, rolling resistance, and pulling force. Also, energy equations for calculating stopping distance after power shut off are derived. Experiments with model trains are preformed to measure velocity, rolling resistance, slip, and stopping distance. The results are compared with the prediction based on the equations of motion, and they showed good agreement. It can be concluded that the prediction is more accurate when the slip between wheel and rail is accounted for. The analysis procedures can be applied to determining various design factors in model trains.

  • In the braking of railway rolling stock, the slip that is the relative velocity between train body and its wheel affects the adhesive force which is connected to the braking force. The coefficient of the adhesive force changes in accordance with the slip and the condition of a rail road. Namely, its value increases upon the maximum on a rail condition, and there it declines conversely while the magnitude of slip keeps rising on. First, this paper introduced a reference slip generator so that can utilize maximum adhesive forces with a disturbance observer for estimating unmeasurable current adhesive forces which is as an input of the generator. And, an adaptive sliding-mode control system has been synthesized for minimizing the error between reference and current slip. Finally the effectiveness of the proposed control system is evaluated by computer simulation.

  • A trial run of locally-developed tilting train has been in process on Chungbuk line since the test vehicle was first produced. For the system stabilization, interface verification among the systems including track, structure, catenary and signaling system, not to mention the rolling stock, is very crucial. In the area of wayside structure, the stability of track structure and train run shall be evaluated through the review of impact by increased speed by developed train on track structure. The study thus was intended to evaluate the impact on track while a tilting train is running the conventional line(ballast track), which is vulnerable to accelerated train speed. The evaluation of tilting train test running the part of Honam line was conducted to identify the impact on existing track performance by tilting train. To identify the performance of each part of track components while tilting train and high speed train were running the existing line, wheel load, rail bending stress, vertical displacement of rail and sleeper were compared so as to evaluate the expected impact by tilting train for improving the train speed.
