본 논문은 중국의 서해 내해화 전략을 분석하여 해양에 종사하거나, 해양 정책을 연구하는 이들에게 시사점을 제공하기 위해 작성하였다. 이를 위해 최근 서해에서 이루어지고 있는 중국의 해상활동을 아더 라이케가 제시한 전략 구성요소인 목표(Ends), 방법(Ways) 및 수단(Means)의 세 가지 기준으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 중국은 서해 내해화라는 목표를 달성하기 위해 국가 차원에서 제 요소를 복합적으로 활용한다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 중국은 ① 정전 상태에 있는 한반도의 특수한 안보 환경을 이용하여 북방한계선(NLL, Northern Limit Line) 인근에서 자국 어선들의 불법조업을 의도적으로 방조하여 서해를 영해로 기정사실화하며, ② 자국의 국가안보에 대한 위협을 이유로 서해상 한･미 연합훈련을 거부하는 한편, 동 해역 내 군사훈련을 확대하고 군용기를 한국방공식별구역 인근으로 상시 진입하게 하여 군사적 능력을 과시하고, ③ 과학탐구를 빙자하여 서해에 각종 시설을 확대 설치하고 있다. 필자가 본 연구를 통해 강조하고 싶은 것은 '서해에서 자행되는 일부 중국의 활동은 한국의 주권을 심각하게 침해하는 행위이며, 한국은 서해에서 국민의 자유로운 해양 활동과 안전을 보장하기 위해 한미 연합전력 중심의 비례적 대응을 해야 한다는 것'이다.

This paper aimed to identify architectural historical meaning of the brick-constructed platform of the west hall in Hwangnyoungsa buddhist temple site based on studying published the excavation survey report and comparing with other platforms of Silla remains. Mass and height of the building has a hierarchical structure within a buddhist temple site, this is applicable in Hwangnyongsa. So in case of a rank equal to or lower buildings than the west hall, those of platforms were built of brick-constructed. As stone relics, jidaeseoks are very narrow, I think that wooden pagoda and main hall's platform were built of brick in first construction period. West hall's platform was built at the late 6th~the mid of 7th century, these brick-remains were considered as a quite earlier construction period relics. Because in west hall there is no jidaeseok under bricks, and all bricks relics have a rectangular shape.

This paper has represented about the wind power industry of the west-south seashore with leading industry development for Honam Economic Region. These projects have composed of wind power industry of the west-south seashore, offshore wind turbine(2MW, 3MW) and onshore wind turbine(3kW, 5kW, 10kW), 11 projects, during 3 years- with honam leading industry development for economic region. The contents of these project are 3 favorable products and 3 business support projects. The favorable products are the MW offshore wind system with Outer-rotor type PMSG, the 3MWoffshore wind system with adaptation type of west-south sea, the hybrid generator system with wind turbine technology basis.

The article provides an assessment of the dynamics of cancer incidence and mortality in the territory of Aktobe city for the period 2000-2010. The most common cancers were found in the lungs, stomach, esophagus and breast throughout the period, with slight increase in colon cancer and decrease in esophageal cancer being apparent. In an attempt to cast light on effects of environmental pollution, the authors also compared data on total emissions of chemicals into the air. While preliminary, the findings provide a basic picture of cancer burden in this industrialised city in Kazakhstan which should be followed up by more comprehensive monitoring.

Liriope platyphylla (LP) Wang et Tang has been used for tonic, anti-tussive and expectorant in Korea. In the current study, we found that buthanol fraction of Liriope platyphylla-conditioned media of C6 and primary astrocyte induced the neurite outgrowth of PC 12 cells, which effect was reversed by addition of NGF-antibody. We demonstrated that buthanol fraction of Liriope platyphylla increased the expression and secretion of NGF through RT-PCR and ELISA. (omitted)

Four 3,4-seco-lupane trierpenoids were isolated from the MeOH extract of the leaves of Acanthopanax divaricatus forma flavi-flos Yook by using various column chromatography. The chemical structures of isolates were identified as chiisanogenin, chiisanoside, isochiisanoside and 11-deoxyisochiisanoside on the basis of physico-chemical and spectroscopic date($^1H-NMR,\;^{13}C-NMR$M$, 2D-NMR and FAB-MS). These compounds were isolated for the first time from A. divaricatus forma flavi-flos.

The purpose of this case study is to determine the possibility of Numerical Forecasting of sea fog at West Sea in spring time. For practical method of analyzing the data collected from 24th to 26th March 2003, Numerical Weather Prediction model MM5(Mesoscale Model Version 5) and synoptic field study using synoptic chart, upper level chart, and sea surface temperature were employed. The results of synoptic field analysis summarized that sea fog at West sea in spring is intensified by the inflow of the warm flow from west or southwest, low sea surface temperature to increase the temperature difference between air and sea surface, and inversion layer to disturb the disperse. It appears that the possibility of sea fog forecasting by MM5, in view of the result that the MM5 output is similar to the synoptic fields analysis.
