A Novel Approach for Well-Test Analysis of Volatile Oil Reservoirs in Two-Phase Flow Conditions

  • Two-phase flow near the wellbore in volatile oil reservoirs causes complications in well test analysis. In this study, the flow behavior of volatile oil reservoirs below the bubble-point pressure and the potential of radial composite model for interpretation of two-phase well test in volatile oil reservoirs was investigated. A radial composite model was used for two-phase well test analysis. A new procedure was developed to interpret well test data and estimate the radius of the two-phase region. The changes in fluid composition near the wellbore during drawdown test were found to increase the saturation pressure, which affects the saturation profile during build-up. Well test results showed that the radial composite method is a powerful tool for well test characterization and estimation of reservoir parameters. The proposed procedure was able to estimate the reservoir parameters and radius of the two-phase region with acceptable accuracy.

단계양수시험 해석 방법에 따른 우물 및 수리 상수 변동 분석 (Comparisons of Different Step-drawdown Test Analysis Methods; Implication for Improrvced Analysis for Step-drawdown Test Data)

  • Step-drawdown test is one of the widely-used aquifer test methods to evaluate aquifer and well losses. Various approaches have been suggested to estimate well losses using the step-drawdown test data but the uncertainties associated with data interpretation and analysis still exist. In this study, we applied three different step-drawdown test analysis methods -Jacob (1947), Labadie and Helweg (1975), Gupta (1989)- to the step-drawdown test data in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong-gun, South Korea and estimated aquifer and well losses. Comparisons of different step-drawdown test analysis methods revealed that the estimated well losses showed different values depending on the applied methods and these variations are likely to be related to the limitation of the assumptions for each analysis method. Based on the detailed analysis of time-drawdown data, we performed step-drawdown test analysis after removing outlier data during the initial stage of step drawdown test. The results showed that the application of the revised time-drawdown data could substantially decrease the error of the analysis as well as the variations in the estimated well losses from different analysis methods.

  • 석탄층 메탄가스(coalbed methane; CBM)를 개발하는데 있어서 생산성과 경제성을 좌우하는 절대투과도(absolute permeability)를 산출하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 절대투과도를 측정하는 방법에는 코어분석(core analysis)과 유정생산 시험(well test) 등이 있다. 하지만 코어분석을 통해 도출된 절대투과도는 CBM 저류층을 대표할 수 없기에 일반적으로 유정생산시험을 통해 절대투과도가 산출된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 CBM 저류층에 적용 가능한 유정생산시험을 분류하고 각 시험기법별 특성 및 장 단점을 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 유정생산시험 설계 및 수행절차를 수립하였으며, 유정생산시험 수행 후 취득된 자료를 통해 절대투과도와 손상지수(skin factor)와 같은 저류층 물성을 도출하기 위한 자료해석 절차를 제시하였다.

치과위생사의 역할갈등, 긍정심리자본, 심리적 안녕감의 관계 (Relationship of dental hygienists' role conflict, positive psychological capital, and psychological well-being)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to confirm the relationship between role conflict, positive psychological capital, and the psychological well-being of dental hygienists and to provide data for improving professionalism by increasing the psychological well-being of dental hygienists. Methods: From May 21 to June 22, 2023, 190 data were collected through an online community of dental hygienists. The collected data were analyzed IBM SPSS program ver. 23.0 and AMOS ver. 26.0. Statistical analysis methods, convergent validity test, structural equation model analysis, and model fit were performed using independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, structural model fit test, and path analysis. Results: The lower the role conflict of dental hygienists and the higher the positive psychological capital, the higher the psychological well-being. The lower the role conflict, the higher the positive psychological capital. However, there was no mediating effect between positive psychological capital and role conflict, as it was not statistically significant. Analysis of the total effect of role conflict and positive psychological capital on psychological well-being revealed that positive psychological capital had a greater influence on psychological well-being than role conflict. Conclusions: Psychological well-being was related to positive psychological capital and role conflict. Future efforts are needed to improve positive psychological capital and psychological well-being of dental hygienists and reduce role conflict.

  • This study was performed to verify the behavior of channel type PC bridge through the full scale model test. It is well known that the behavior of connection is especially important in case of precast multi-beam bridges. In this study, the lateral load distribution capacity was found satisfactory and influenced little either by the type or strength of connections. Analysis results agreed well with test results. Parameter studies were performed based on the test and analysis results.

여대생들의 유명브랜드 의류에 대한 태도 및 구입 의도 연구 (A Study on College Women′s Attitude Toward and Buying Intention of Well-Known Brand Apparel)

  • The purposed of this was (1) to investigate the beliefs, attitudes and buying intention of well-known brand apparel among female college students, and (2) to identify the factors that might distinguish those who have high intention to purchase well-known brand apparel and those who have low intention in terms of individual characteristics and social influence. The data were collected trough questionnaire from random samples of 291 female college students. Statical analysis of factor analysis, χ²-test, t-test and multiple discriminant were performed in analyzing the data. 1. 63% of 291 respondents investigated were identified as having high intention to buy well-known brand apparel. 2. Those who have high intention to buy well-known brand apparel have significantly higher beliefs on well-known brand apparel. 3. Those who have high intention to buy well-known brand apparel have significantly more favorable attitude toward buying well-known brand apparel. 4. Two groups of high intention and low intention to buy well-known brand apparel have significantly different profiles in terms of social influences, values, personality and demographic variables.

다중 펌프 흡수정에서 발생하는 Vortex 수치 해석에 관한 연구 (Numerical Analysis on the Flow Vortex in a Multi Pump Intake using a Pump Sump Model)

  • In order to suggest the methodology for achieving anti-vortex within multi pump intake well, the field test and CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation were conducted. The filed test were carried out for domestic W_multi pump intake well according to usual operation condition through the naked observation. From the results, operating #4, #5, #8 and 9# pumps, the vortex and swirl occurred above #4 and #9 intake pipe within two wells. For qualitative analysis, a commercial CFD code, using sump model, was used to predict the vortex generation within the selected pump intake facility accurately. The analysed results by CFD show that the vortex structure and location are in accordance with the results of the field test.

  • The priority of Crashworthiness concept for rolling stock is progressively increasing to reduce the damage of drivers and passengers as well as the car. For the first step of this research, the analysis of the crash elements have been performed. Also the longitudinal collapse force and mode is important point for whole carbody structure to guarantee the lower force at end part rather than the main passenger area. The carbody quasi-static collapse analysis and real test has been performed in the research. The crash elements FEA and test has been performed as well. After the initial Analysis and test, the correlation analysis between the FEA and test has been performed by FEA tunning. All this result will be used for real crashworthiness design for carbody structure.

  • 조사대상자의 일반적인 특성과 외식 행동 특성은 빈도(N)와 백분율(%)로 나타내었으며, 조사대 상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 인식에 관한 차이를 알아보기 위해 $x^2$-검정을 실시하여 유의성을 검정하였고, 메뉴 선택행동은 요인분석(Factor analysis)을 실시하였으며, 메뉴 선택 요인과 일반적인 특성과의 차이(t-test & ANOVA)를 검정하였고, 건강지향도과 만족도와의 다중회귀분석(Multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 인구통계적 변인들과 메뉴 선택 행동의 차이는 대체로 연령, 학력, 소득 수준이 높을수록 평균이 높게 나타나 웰빙 메뉴 선택 행동에 높은 관여를 보이는 것으로 조사되었으며, 메뉴 선택 행동이 건강지향성과 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 회귀분석결과 식생활 습관성은 건강지향성과 만족도에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 외식기업들은 이러한 집단을 마케팅 목표로 설정하여 그에 맞는 메뉴 개발 및 업체의 컨셉을 정하여 판매 촉진을 개선시키는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있다.

한국과 일본 소비자의 웰빙의식과 외모관리에 따른 한방화장품 태도 연구 (The Effects of Well-being Consciousness and Appearance Management of Korean and Japanese Consumers on Attitudes toward Korean Herbal Cosmetics)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify conceptual constructs of well-being consciousness and appearance management behaviors, and to examine the effects of these two variables on attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetics for Korean and Japanese consumers. A survey was carried out among female consumers between the ages of 20 and 50, and a total of 500 responses were analyzed by descriptive analysis, reliability test, t-test, and confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling and multi group analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The result of CFA and the reliability test on well-being consciousness and appearance management of Korean and Japanese respondents clearly showed factorial structures on each of the variant assessments. 2) In regards to the well-being consciousness, Korean and Japanese respondents highly tended to perceive well-being as a benefit to the physical health and an eco-friendly lifestyle respectively. In the area of appearance management, Korean and Japanese respondents had similar patterns that showed high scores of skin care and weight control. Both Korean and Japanese consumers showed favorable attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetic products. 3) The consumers' well-being consciousness revealed to have positive influences on appearance management behavior. Both well-being consciousness and appearance management positively influenced attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetics. 4) As a result of MGA, the well-being consciousness had more positive impacts on Korean respondents' attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetics than the appearance management variable when compared to the Japanese respondents. On the other hand, appearance management had more positive impacts on Japanese respondents' attitudes to-ward Korean herbal cosmetics than well-being consciousness when compared to the Korean respondents. These results suggest that differentiated marketing strategies for Korean herbal cosmetics are crucial when targeting Korean and Japanese consumers.
