Service learning usually has two aspects. One aspect is associated with applying class learning to related fields. The other aspect is associated with challenging and dynamic volunteering experiences. This study examined experiences of 70 social work students who took service learning courses at a university. After the courses, these students were asked regarding (1) evaluation and satisfaction of overall service learning experiences, (2) evaluation of service learning contents and the following activities, (3) the process of volunteering activities, and (4) the differences between service learning courses and other regular courses. Results were as follows: students generally regarded service learning experiences as positive; students reported understanding of social work practice and learning of professional skills; however, the service learning courses seemed to be very demanding in time and adjusting personal schedules; teamwork among students seemed to be good, especially in cooperation and emotional support; however, some students reported struggling experiences in allocating roles among team members; finally, the relationship between students and social workers at the agencies and the coordination of community resources seemed to be weak. In order for service learning courses to be more effective, this study presented some suggestions in the conclusion.

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences and future challenges in providing of social service based on agro-healing. The study conducted was a general qualitative research which involved the collection and analysis of experiences shared by four representatives of participating in Gyeonggi-do community service investment pilot project. The data were gathered through individual in-depth interviews, and the findings were thoroughly analyzed to draw meaningful insights. The study revealed three main topics of discussion: "knowing the necessity of entering social services," "thresholds to be crossed to enter social services," and "future tasks". Based on the these results, implications for the development of community social services related to agro-healing were suggested, and the limitations were also discussed.

본 연구는 자기결정경험을 중심으로 지적장애인 거주시설 유형별 차이를 비교하기 위해 생활시설, 그룹홈, 자립홈 3개 유형의 거주시설에서 생활하고 있는 9인의 지적장애인이 경험한 17개의 시설거주 경험을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 시설유형별로 자기결정 경험이 다른 것으로 나타났는데, 자립홈, 그룹홈, 생활시설 순으로 자기결정이 보장되는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 탈 시설 요구를 적극 수용하고 자기결정 정도를 높이는 방향으로 거주시설 정책 개혁이 필요하며, 서비스 평가 시 이용자의 주관적 경험을 반영할 필요가 있음을 제기하였다. 지적장애인에 대한 연구와 관련해서는 대화분석이 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 지적장애인의 주관적 경험과 인식을 풍부하게 드러내는 연구들이 필요하다는 점을 확인하였다.

본 연구에서는 장애인근로사업장 발달장애인의 일과 복지서비스 경험을 질적 사례연구방법을 통해 심층적으로 고찰하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내 G장애인근로사업장내 발달장애인 8명을 대상으로 반구조화된 질문을 활용하여 심층 인터뷰하였으며, 이를 토대로 사례 내 분석과 사례 간 분석을 실시하였다. 또한, 장애인근로사업장의 일과 복지서비스와 관련된 문서자료, 현장관찰, 문헌 검토 등을 실시하고 분석하여 이들의 상호작용을 고찰하였다. 연구결과, 장애인근로사업장 발달장애인의 일과 복지서비스 경험은 총 10개의 구성요소와 22개의 하위구성요소로 도출되었으며, 이를 통해 장애인근로사업장 발달장애인의 일과 복지서비스 경험의 본질은 총 5개로 도출되었다. 장애인근로사업장에서 근무하는 발달장애인의 일과 복지서비스 경험의 본질은 경제적 자립의 안정과 자부심, 일 자체의 즐거움과 책임감, 사회 속에 정규직이라는 성취감, 직장 내 사람들의 인정 및 지지적 교류, 복지지원 및 참여확대에 대한 기대 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 장애인근로사업장 발달장애인을 위한 일과 복지서비스 지원의 국내 직업재활 정책적 방향과 함의를 제언하였다.

This study examined the current status of the service networking experiences of workers in community child centers and the impact of various individual, organizational, and environmental factors on their service networking experiences. Structured questionnaires were mailed to the all community child centers in the Kyungnam area, and the data thus collected from 128 workers were used for the analysis. The findings indicated that most study participants did in fact possess service networking experience; however, the frequency was relatively low and the types of agencies in which this networking experienced was gained were somewhat limited. The results from the hierarchical multiple regression analysis revealed that being licensed social workers, the number of years in which a center had been operating, the numbers of workers and volunteers, the capacity of the centers, and workers' participation in work-related training were significantly associated with the frequency of worker's networking experiences. Based on the findings of this study, the implications for practice in promoting service networking among community child centers and other community resources were also discussed.

본 논문은 복지국가의 사회서비스 발전과정을 개괄하고 독일의 사회서비스 제도화 및 재구조화 과정을 분석함으로써 이것이 현재 진행 중인 한국의 전자 바우처 중심 사회서비스 제도화 과정에 줄 수 있는 함의를 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 복지국가의 사회서비스 확대 및 재정비 경향을 제솝의 workfare 논의를 바탕으로 그리고 국가의 사회서비스 개입 지점을 혁신 개념을 중심으로 분석하였다. 다음으로 독일의 사회서비스 제도화 및 재구조화 경향을 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 한국의 사회서비스 제도화에 줄 수 있는 함의를 공급체계와 생산체계의 구분 및 형성, 지역사회 구심점 설정, 생산자 지원 방식의 활성화 그리고 생산주체로서 비영리조직 역할의 확대로 제시하였다.

본 연구는 시간이 경과함에 따른 노인들의 복지서비스 이용경험의 변화를 살펴보고, Andersen과 Newman(1973)의 행동주의 모델을 적용하여 서비스 이용경험에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 밝힘과 동시에 지속적으로 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히고자 시도되었다. 이를 위해 2003년부터 2007년까지 세 차례에 걸쳐 수집된 한림고령자패널자료 중 60세 이상 노인을 분석대상으로 경로우대서비스, 여가서비스, 재가복지서비스 이용경험과 Andersen과 Newman(1973)의 모델에서 제시된 선행요인(성, 연령, 교육수준), 가능성요인(거주지역, 배우자유무, 월 용돈, 서비스 인지수준), 욕구요인(일상생활동작수행능력)에 해당하는 문항들을 분석하였다. 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 자귀회귀모형과 회귀분석을 결합한 모형을 만들고 이를 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 시간이 흐름에 따라 노인들은 경로우대서비스를 점차 보편적으로 이용하게 되었지만 여가서비스와 재가복지서비스를 이용함에 있어서는 아직까지 제한적이었다. 둘째, 경로우대서비스와 여가서비스에 대한 이용경험은 다음의 서비스 이용경험에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 서비스 이용경험에 영향을 미친 요인들이 조사시점마다 달라졌지만, 경로우대서비스 이용에는 선행요인인 연령과 가능성요인인 거주지역, 여가서비스 이용에는 가능성요인인 거주지역과 배우자유무, 그리고 재가복지서비스 이용에는 선행요인인 교육수준과 가능성요인인 서비스 인지수준이 5년 동안 지속적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 선행연구들에서 서비스 이용에 욕구요인이 중요한 요인으로 지목되어온 것과는 달리 본 연구에서는 가능성요인이 중요하게 부각되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 노인 개인이나 가족의 특성보다는 서비스를 공급하는 지역의 복지환경이 노인의 서비스 이용에 더 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 따라서 노인의 노인복지서비스 이용을 확대하기 위해서는 경로우대서비스와 여가서비스에 대한 복지자원과 재정에 있어서의 지역 간 격차를 줄이고 재가복지서비스에 대한 홍보를 체계화하는 노력이 요구되었다.

Background: The efforts to build more "people centered," "patient centered" health system has been emerging all over the world. Aligning with it, the Korean government is conducing the survey called "Medical Service Experience Survey (MSES)." There are critics, however, that MSES is not scrutinizing the medical experiences of patients in various healthcare settings. For this reason, this study aims to perform an empirical analysis of the differences in answers of patients responding to various healthcare settings. Methods: There are two steps in this study. First, explanatory analysis is conducted to compare the tendency of statistical concentration on questionnaires by divided healthcare settings. Second, confirmative analysis is carried out to evaluate the construct validity, reliability, and discriminant validity of the questionnaire in each healthcare setting. The raw data of MSES, which was conducted in 2020 by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Korea and the Korean Institute for Health and Social Affairs is used. Results: As a result of exploratory factor analysis for all outpatients, the items were classified into four factors statistically: "doctor experience," "nurse experience," "outpatient service experience," and "patient satisfaction." It was confirmed that the reliability of all factors extracted was secured. However, for patients who visited hospitals, questionnaires related to personal privacy, such as "experiences on medical staffs considering physical exposure" or "experiences related to personal information exposure," were answered in conjunction with items of "nurse experience." Besides, patients responded that administrative elements of medical services, such as "experiences of comfort in medical institutions" and "experiences of satisfactory administrative services," were related to the items of "nurse experience." The answers of patients who visited traditional medical hospitals and clinics about "doctor experience" and "nurse experience" were not discerned statistically, and the answers to "doctor experience," "nurse experience," and "medical institution experience" were entangled with the responses of patients who visited dental hospitals and clinics. On the other hand, as a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, it was found that the inquiries of MSES generally had intensive validity. Conclusion: The collection of objective and scientific data is the prominent component to enlighten the patient-centered healthcare system alongside with change of the worldwide paradigm of measuring the healthcare system performance as follows the transition of perspective of health care from provider-centered to patient-centered. This study empirically shows that the patient experience can vary as the healthcare settings. Furthermore, to make an advance in measuring the experience of patients with medical services, this article proposes the deliberate consideration of the different kinds of healthcare settings and articulate design of the survey.

본 연구의 목적은 국민기초생활보장 수급노인의 일상생활 경험을 시간과 공간의 맥락으로 재구성하여 이러한 일상의 맥락들이 수급노인의 사회복지서비스 경험과 어떠한 관련성이 있는지 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 11명의 수급노인을 의도적 표집으로 선정하였고 수집된 자료는 질적 연구로 분석하였다. 연구결과 시간적 맥락에서의 일상경험은 "정신적, 신체적 고통을 홀로 견뎌내는 시간 속에서 엇갈리는 복지 서비스"이라는 주제가 도출되었고, 세부주제로 '반복된 하루의 시작: 공적 서비스 혜택 뒤의 무료한 생활', '식사시간: 억지로 치루는 일상 의식', '운영 종료되는 복지 서비스와 잠 못 이루는 정신적 고통의 밤', '복지서비스 중단과 혼자 보내는 휴일', '수급비 감소와 생활비 부족으로 움츠러드는 추운 겨울', '힘든 삶을 버틸 수 있게 하는 일상의 자원들'이 나타났다. 공간적 맥락에서의 일상경험은 "단절된 공간 속에서 이루어지는 제한된 복지 서비스와 상호작용"으로 나타났으며, 세부주제로 '나를 더 아프게 하는 집', '무료한 일상을 벗어나기 위한 최소한의 피난처', '건강한 노인들에게만 유익한 복지기관', '도시와 농촌의 지역적 차이 속 공통된 복지서비스와 사회 관계망의 빈약함', '아픈 몸, 제한적 치료만 받을 수 있는 의료서비스', '높은 문턱의 행정기관', '수급서비스 제도 안에서의 양가감정의 생활'이 도출되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 국민기초생활보장 수급노인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 정책적 실천적 제언을 하였다.

The study aimed to analyze roles and responsibilities of housing welfare professionals in fields in order to provide directions of the Housing Welfare Professional Certificate program operated by the Korean Housing Association. In October 2013, a series of interviews were performed to five housing welfare professionals in local governments, public enterprises and private organizations in order to explore field cases. Additionally, administrative works related to housing welfare were explored based on information from local government websites. It was found that roles and responsibilities of housing welfare professionals included a wide range of works such as provisions and management of public rental housing, housing counseling, investment and analysis of residential environment, exploring resources, education, and improvement of poor-condition housing and urban environment. In order for more efficient and effective provisions of housing welfare services, it was suggested to improve housing welfare service delivery systems and to make clear definition of job ranges, and knowledges and experiences required to be housing welfare professionals.
