최적제어기법의 지역정책에의 적용에 관한 연구 : 지역경제정책의 평가를 중심으로 (The Use of Optimal Control Techniques to Design Regional Policies: With Special Reference to the Evaluation of Regional Economic Polices)

  • It is widely known that optimal control techniques are useful to measure the performance of macroeconomic policy. This paper examines how the method could be applies them to the evaluation of the public investment expenditures conducted by the local government of Choongbook Province in Korea. The numerical example illustrates the usefulness of the methods for the evaluation of the regional economic policies suggesting the main findings as follows: (1) If the local government of Choongbook Province had increased the public investment expenditures allowing the budget deficits for the first three to four years during the period between 1985 and 1990, its GRDP would have early risen to the ratio of more than three percent of Korea's total GDP. (2) The additonal welfare losses incurred by not following the optimal policy were 0.191 in 1986, 0.607 in 1987, 1.585 in 1988, and 0.132 in 1989, indicating that the public investment policy proves to be the best in 1989 and the worst in 1988.

친환경 환풍기를 위한 BLDC모터 제어기 연구 (Research for Environmentally Friendly Exhaust Fan BLDC Motor Controller)

  • This study documents the 3-phase BLDC(Brushless DC) motor to improve conventional exhaust fan motor. Energy efficiency, noise, and air pollution reduction for the high-performance vibration of the BLDC motor has been used in many fields. It is necessary to achieve the information of rotor position for driving 3-phase type brushless DC motor. It is also necessary that the PWM control algorithm design for a MOSFET driver to control the motor speed control for each of three phases. BLDC motors for exhaust fan, we studied the controller and software. The control circuit and motor control program through which Exhaust fan up close and person can be used safely and protect the environment.

  • The objective of this research was to investigate whether emotional experience and change in depression and stress in the regional children center was affected by participating in the recreation program. For the objective of research, pre-post test control group design was carried on to 21 primary school pupils and middle school students who participated in the regional children center after school. Children's emotional experience, depression and stress that children experienced while they stayed in regional children center were measured. The experimental group showed low negative emotion and high positive emotion after participating the recreation program. It can be concluded that the recreation activity in the regional children center is effective in diminishing the children's depression and stress.

Potential Benefit of Genetic Engineering in Plant Breeding: Rice, a Case Study

  • This paper summarizes recent developments in the field of molecular biology and its application to plant breeding, particularly in rice. Plant breeding in the past mostly depended on the time-consuming crossing of known genomes limited to certain traits. Plant breeding has now benefited from marker-assisted selection and genetic engineering to widen the gene pool, improve plant protection, and increase yield. Future plant breeding will expand based on functional and nutritional genomics, in which gene discovery and high-throughput transformation will accelerate crop design and benefits will accrue to human health, in the form of nutritional food for poor people to reduce malnutrition, or food enriched with antioxidants and with high food value for rich people. Agricultural biotechnology for food is no longer a dream but a reality that will dominate the 21st century for agriculture and human welfare.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the ambulatory care facilities according to the change of medical circumstance and to find the proper ones in Korea. A logical model was used with the data which were obtained from the National Statistical Office, the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Korea and OECD Health Data. A proper ambulatory care facility in Korea is suggested as like as MOB (Medical Office Building). It should be considered for outpatient in distance within 1km long. It's proper size may be designed for 10,000persons to 50,000persons by regions.

  • 본 논문에서는 교과개정 개편으로 저학년부터 코딩교육의 의무화가 됨에 따라 현시점에서 코딩교육의 대표적인 교육사이트에 대한 현황 및 장단점을 살펴보고, 교육을 받은 S/W 인재들이 대학교에 진학하여 배우는 S/W 교육에 대해 살펴보고자 했다. 현재 미래 창조과학부에서 운영하는 S/W 중심대학에 관하여 적절한 운영 방향에 따라 각 대학교가 운영되고 있는지 조사해보고 이에 따른 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하고 대학교별로 K-ICT(Korea-Information&Communication Techonology) 전략에 부합하는 목표성을 가졌는지 그룹핑해서 나열하고 이에 따른 문제점을 분석하여 S/W 교육 추진 방향과 정책설계를 통한 미래 발전 방안을 K-ICT 중심의 목표와 S/W 중심학교가 NCS(National Competency Standards)에 부합하는 시스템 개발을 위한 연구의 필요성을 제시한다.

  • 최근 사이버대학들은 치열한 입시경쟁을 겪고 있다. 이에 학교들은 교육질 개선을 위하여 다양한 노력을 하고 있다. S 사이버대학의 경우 최초로 전과목별로 실시간 채팅서비스를 제공하여 동영상 강의와 게시판의 한계를 극복하고자 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러닝 교육의 학습효과를 종속변수로 설정하고, 학습내용, 교수설계요인과 채팅서비스를 독립변수로 투입하여, 다중회귀분석을 기법을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과 학습내용, 교수설계요인, 채팅서비스 모두는 학습효과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 전교과목에 적용한 채팅서비스는 온라인 교육 효과를 높일 수 있는 방안임을 확인하였고, 효과적인 채팅 서비스의 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Design of a Robust Stable Flux Observer for Induction Motors

  • This paper presents a robustly adaptive flux observer for speed-sensorless induction motor control. The proposed approach employs additional robustifying signals to cope with the parametric uncertainties instead of designing an estimator, which has been normally used in power electronic drives. For that, the sliding-mode like adaptive controls are designed and their gain parameters are determined so that the observer dynamics are stable in the sense of Lyapunov, and furthermore they can guarantee the robustness against parametric uncertainties in induction motor systems. Estimated rotor speed is to be used to generate feedback control signal for the speed sensorless vector control system. To show the validity and efficiency of the proposed system, simulation results are presented.

아임삭 오창 공장 (Aimsak Ochang Factory)

  • Amisak is a rechargeable tool company and is aiming to be a leading company in Korea by 2010. Ochang factory will be a base for this aim. Client's bad experience in construction of their first Suwon factory and my regretable memory of 1996 design & construction of BTC factory in Whasung lead us to desire for an outstandingly good factory. Total floor area is about 5,000 square. meter (1,500 py) and it has been designed with 3 different facilities, Factory (steel structure, 2 levels), Office (RC structure, 3 levels), and Welfare (RC structure, 3 levels including basement). Factory area is expected to expand its facility at the rear end within 3 to 5 years. Aimsak Ochang factory is expected to be completed in December 2007.

Proposal of a Portable Folding Electric Scooter Model and Manufacturing of the Prototype

  • In recent years, small mobile devices called personal mobility or smart mobility have attracted attention. Personal mobility refers to electric-driven personal transportation that can travel at close range and medium distance, including small electric vehicles, electric bicycles, electric motorcycles and electric scooters. Most of the electric scooters used in Korea are mainly imported from China. This is due to the fact that the price competitiveness of major components of electric scooters is owned in China. At this point, the domestic research direction is preferable for the composition and design of the electric scooter body rather than cost reduction for the components. In this study, we propose a new model of portable folding structure that is easy to use for electric scooters, which are personal vehicles using electric energy. We also made a prototype for practical use.
