건착망의 연구 - 사절망과 라셀망의 심항력과 장력의 비교 - (A Study on the Purse Seine Comparison of Sinking Speed and Tension of Purse Line in Two Nets , Made of Knotted Webbing and Raschel Webbing)

  • 크기가 실물어구의 1/450이고, 망지는 각각 결절망지와 라셀망지를 쓴 건착망의 모형어구를 제작하여 발돌의 수중중량을 4g~20g까지 변화시킬 때의 침강속도와 죔줄의 장력을 비교한 바, 침강속도는 결절망지를 쓴 쪽이 1.4~1.8 빠르고, 죔줄의 장력은 라셀망지를 쓴 쪽이 10~20% 적었다. 따라서, 어군의 도피를 빨리 차단한다는 의미에서는 결절망지가 라셀망지보다 유리하다고 볼 수 있다.

  • Motorized retractors enhance the safety of passengers by removing the slack of webbing and by holding upright driving position. Reliability of a driving mechanism that includes one-way clutch between the driving motor and webbing is directly linked to the safety of passenger. In this research, conditions for locking one-way clutch and also conditions for sustaining locking are theoretically investigated. the operation of a motorized retractor under realistic conditions is simulated in order to validate the proposed retractor design.

  • A retractor is the major component of a seatbelt system that restraints passengers by locking the movement of webbing. Recently, in order to increase the effectiveness of seatbelt systems, motorized retractors that remove slack and correct passenger posture just before airbag expansion when collision is predicted are widely used. Key component of motorized retractors is the one-way clutch that engages and disengages the winding action of webbing according to the direction of motor revolution. Analytical investigation of action of the one-way clutch mechanism has been carried out to figure out conditions for one-way locking, and to study the effect of various kinematic and dynamic design variables of one-way clutch. Using combination of ADAMS and LifeMOD soft-wares, dynamic simulation of operation of motorized retractors including Hybrid-III dummy model has been carried out to evaluate the performance of the motorized retractors in various crash scenarios.

  • 안전벨트의 역할은 차량 충돌이 발생했을 때 운전자를 보호하는 것이다. 그러나 강한 충돌이 발생하게 되면 운전자가 안전벨트에서 미끄러지게 되어 강한 충격을 받는다. 그러므로 이러한 현상을 방지하기 위해 새로운 안전벨트의 개발이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 새로운 개념의 안전벨트인 Dynamic Locking Tongue(DLT)을 개발하였다. DLT장치는 강한 충돌이 발생했을 때 벨트(Webbing)가 안전벨트에서 미끄러지지 않게 하여 운전자의 피해를 줄여주는 장치이다. DLT장치 개발은 동역학 해석 프로그램인 SAMCEF를 이용하였다. 우선 DLT장치의 유한요소모델을 생성하였다. 그리고 실제 시험방법과 유사한 환경을 만들어 테스트를 해보았다. 이를 통해 DLT장치의 무게와 응력를 구할 수 있다. DLT장치의 최소 강도와 무게를 구하기 위해 반응 표면 분석법을 이용하여 DLT장치의 형상을 최적화하였다. 최적화된 DLT장치를 구조 해석을 통해 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

Comparison of long-term behavior between prestressed concrete and corrugated steel web bridges

  • Prestressed concrete (PC) bridges using corrugated steel webbing have emerged as one of the most promising forms of steel-concrete composite bridge. However, their long-term behavior is not well understood, especially in the case of large-span bridges. In order to study the time-dependent performance, a large three-span PC bridge with corrugated steel webbing was compared to a similar conventional PC bridge to examine their respective time-dependent characteristics. In addition, a three-dimensional finite element method with step-by-step time integration that takes into account cantilever construction procedures was used to predict long-term behaviors such as deflection, stress distribution and prestressing loss. These predictions were based upon four well-established empirical creep prediction models. PC bridges with a corrugated steel web were observed to have a better long-term performance relative to conventional PC bridges. In particular, it is noted that the pre-cambering for PC bridges with a corrugated steel web could be smaller than that of conventional PC bridges. The ratio of side-to-mid span has great influence on the long-term deformation of PC bridges with a corrugated steel web, and it is suggested that the design value should be between 0.4 and 0.6. However, the different creep prediction models still showed a weak homogeneity, thus, the further experimental research and the development of health monitoring systems are required to further progress our understanding of the long-term behavior of PC bridges with corrugated steel webbing.

안전벨트 충돌하중특성 최적화 (Optimization of Seat belt Load Limiter for Crashworthiness)

  • Under the full frontal crash event, seatbelt system is the most typical and primary restraint device that prevents the second impact between an occupant and vehicle interior parts by limiting the forward motion of an occupant in the vehicle occupant packaging space. Today's restraint systems typically include the three-point seat belt with the pretensioner and the load limiter. A pretensioner preemptively tightens the seat belts removing any slack between a passenger and belt webbing which leads to early restraint of a passenger. After that a load limiter controls level of belt load by releasing the belt webbing to reduce occupant injurys. In this study, load characteristics of load limiters are optimized by the computer simulation with a MADYMO model for a frontal impact against the rigid wall at 56kph and then we suggest performance requirements. We derived optimum load characteristic from the results using four vehicle simulation models represented by the vehicle. Based on the results, we suggest the performance from the results of the second optimization using the simulation considering the design and the standardization. Finally, the performance requirements is verified by the sled tests including the load limiter device for the full vehicle condition.

Effective Lateral Canthal Lengthening with Triangular Rotation Flap

  • In Korea, lateral canthoplasty, along with medial epicanthoplasty, has become popular over the past years to widen the horizontal length of the palpebral fissure. However, the effect of the surgery differs greatly depending on the shape and structure of the eyes. If over-widened, complications such as eversion, scarring, and conjunctival exposure may occur. Thus, the author of this study suggests a more effective and safe method for lateral canthal lengthening that causes minimal complications. A total of 236 patients underwent lateral canthoplasty between July 2007 and December 2015. For each patient, a triangular flap 4-5 mm away from the lateral canthus was elevated and rotated 45 degrees laterally while the continuity of the lower eyelid gray line was maintained. A new lateral canthus was created by fixating the rotation flap to the lateral orbital rim with minimal skin trimming and tension-free sutures, preventing relapse and maintaining a triangular shape. In more than 95% of cases, effective and satisfactory extension was achieved. On average, a 3 mm extension of the lateral canthus was achieved. There were minor complications such as wound dehiscence, webbing, and scarring, which were easily corrected. The author not only extended the lateral canthus 3-4 mm laterally but also maintained the continuity of the gray line on the lower lid as a more natural-looking triangular shape, while minimizing complications such as webbing and conjunctival exposure.

  • 朴.李등 (1972)이 축양 시험을 할 때에는 축양조 이외에 소형의 예인조를 따로 썼으나, 예인조에서 축양조로 이송이 번거로우므로 업계에서는 축양조를 바로 예인하는 방법이 쓰이고 있다. 그러나, 축양조를 바로 예인하면 앞면의 망지가 뒤로 밀려서 축양조 내부의 용적이 작아지고, 또 예인중 축양조의 속도가 갑자기 느려지면 멸치는 유영 관성으로 말미암아 뒤로 밀린 망지 위로 올라가서, 비늘이 벗겨져서 폐사율이 높아진다. 이를 개량하기 위해 먼저 $\frac{1}{15}$크기의 모형 축양조를 만들어서, 회류수조에서 4가지 방식으로 예인시험을 실시하고, 그 중 합리적이라고 생각되는 2가지 방식을 다시 해상에서 실물시험을 실시하여, 실용상의 문제점을 규명함과 동시에, 축양조의 예인속도는 빠르게 하면서도 축양조 내부의 유속을 느리게 하는 방법도 고안했다

  • 자동차에 장착되어 폐차시까지 사용되는 안전벨트용 웨빙은 일정 수준이상의 인장강도를 지속적으로 유지하여 착용자를 사고로부터 보호하는 중요한 역할을 하는 섬유 제품이다. 그러나 차량에 처음 장착되었을 때의 초기 인장강도가 사용 기간 증가에 따라 점차 저하된다. 웨빙의 사용 시간 증가에 따른 인장강도 저하의 주요 원인을 구성 PET 필라멘트의 취화로 생각할 수 있다. 따라서 웨빙의 구성 소재인 PET 필라멘트가 환경 요인에 의하여 취화되는 과정을 확인하고자 온도와 UV-B 자외선 조사에 의한 가속실험을 실시하였다. (중략)
