This paper is concerned with web-based remote measurement and control systems. Recently, various techniques are developed based on the advance of the internet environment. The PHP can be used in the server without any interpreter. Simple page can be constructed using the html and the results can be immediately showing client PC using web-cam.

This paper shows the development process for measuring three-dimensional flow velocity components in a web-browser. The system is developed in an embeddable C/C++ interpreter Ch and Ch-CGI toolkit. The interface for the web-based measurement system consists of a set of web HTML files and Ch files for CGI. All of data in web browser are passed to Ch-CGI script to generate the output of new HTML file. PC-Server and PC-Client can submit measurement parameters and receive the text/graphical results each other. PC-Client can control the test equipment by using a parameters that received from PC-Server. It also can pass the test results between the web-based measurement system. In summary, the designed measurement system is evaluated, the outputs shown well on the web browser.

Cloud services are often provisioned to their customers using user-friendly web browsers with flexible and rich plug-in environments. Delay is one of the fundamental performance metrics of these web-based services. Commonly-used network measurement tools usually only measure network delay and it may be difficult to infer the web-delay performance using only network layer measurement approaches. In this paper, we propose to evaluate the application layer delay in a browser-based network measurement platform using engineered scripts. We conducted a delay measurement study using instrumented scripts in the proposed browser-based measurement platform. Our investigation included a comparison study of three browser-scripting delay measurement methods, including Java applet, JSP and Flash ActionScript. We developed a browser-based delay measurement testbed over the Internet so that different delay measurement tools could be evaluated in the same real network environment including typical Internet paths and the Baidu cloud. We also decomposed the components of the end-to-end delay process of the above measurements to reveal the difference and relationship between the network-layer delay and the application-layer delay. Our measurement results characterize the stochastic properties of the application-layer delay over real Internet paths, and how these properties vary from the underlying network layer delay. This browser-scripting measurement approach can be easily deployed on different cloud service platforms to inspect their application-layer delay performance between end clients and the cloud platforms. Our measurement results may provide insights into designing new cloud services with enhanced quality-of-experience perceived by cloud users.

임시지역성은 웹 캐싱 전략에서 고려해야 할 중요한 요소 중의 하나이며, 이를 정확히 측정하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 임시지역성을 측정하기 위한 다양한 방법이 제시되었으나, 상호 참조시간을 고려하지 않는 스택을 이용한 측정도구를 사용함으로써 정확한 임시지역성 측정에 한계가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 상호참조시간을 고려한 단기간 임시지역성 측정도구를 제안하고, NLANR과 NASA의 로그 파일로 실험한 결과를 논의한다. 실험 결과 스택기반의 기존 측정도구보다 상호참조시간 기반의 제안 측정도구가 단기간 임시지역성을 보다 정확히 측정할 수 있었다.

I-Business의 고객과 서비스 제공자들은 사업을 성공으로 이끄는 최선의 방법으로 SLA(Service Level Agreement)를 제공해야 하며, SLA에 포함되어야할 기술적 파라미터로 서비스 가용성을 최우선으로 선정하였다. 이러한 결과들은 웹을 기반으로 한 서비스 제공자들에게 웹 서비스 가용성의 관리가 매우 중요함을 말해준다. 응용서비스 가용성은 사용자의 기대 성능을 유지하면서 제공되는 서비스의 비율로 정의된다. 하지만, 현재까지 웹 서비스 가용성을 측정하는 도구는 단순하게 웹 서비스의 중단 여부만을 판단하기 때문에 사용자의 기대 성능에 대한 요구를 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 응답시간에 기반한 웹 서비스의 성능저하의 경우를 고려하여 가용성을 측정하고, 불가용을 초래하는 요소가 무엇이며, 그 원인이 무엇인지 밝혀내는 방안을 제시한다. 연구의 결과로 측정도구 WebSerAvail를 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 문헌연구를 통하여 효과적인 웹 사이트 구축을 위한 신뢰도 요인 7개를 도출하였고, 이를 토대로 웹 사이트의 신뢰도 측정도구인 "Xenu"와 "Yslow"를 이용하여 실증적으로 웹 사이트의 신뢰도를 측정하였다. 실험한 웹 사이트의 수는 국내, 외 12개를 선정하였다. 이들 12개의 웹 사이트에 대하여 신뢰도를 측정한 결과 7개의 측정요인 별로 신뢰도 수준은 다양하게 나타났으며, 효과적인 웹 사이트 구축을 위해서 이들 7개의 측정요인별로 대안을 제시하여 두었다.

In a very competitive construction business environment there is a need to measure and manage business performance across a wider spectrum of business success criteria. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) reporting concepts are emerging as champions in the race for sustainable business success. The construction business organisations are often judged based on their financial performance as well as wider performance. This paper aims at developing a universally accepted tool for assessing contractors' wider business performance in the construction industry. A prototype of web-based business performance measurement system has been developed to help contractors assess their own performance aimed at uplifting their performance. The consultants/clients can also use the tool to measure contractors' performance in a value-based contractor selection. The system was developed based on the research conducted among 63 senior construction professionals and therefore further research with the participation of a large number of managers across different countries and also an upgrade of the system will be required.

Purpose: This study was done to identify the effectiveness of a web based learning program on self efficacy, knowledge, and competence in measurement of blood pressure in college nursing students. Method: This study was an experimental research study. Data were collected from April 20 to June 1. 2011. The participants were 68 first year nursing students (experimental group 37, control group 31). The collected data were analyzed with the PASW 18.0 program, using ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results: The mean score for self efficacy in blood pressure measurement in the experimental group was 61.9 and in the control group 60.7. This result was statistically significant (t=3.301, p=.002). The mean score for knowledge of blood pressure measurement in the experimental group was 11.5 and in the control group 10.8. This result was statistically significant (t=2.910, p=.005). But effectiveness of competence in blood pressure measurement was not significant. Conclusion: The study results show that the web based learning program was effective for self efficacy and knowledge in blood pressure measurement but not for competence indicating.-a need to develop strategies to improve competence in blood presessure measurement for these students.

교육학의 학습이론이 웹기반 도서관 이용자 교육에 응용될 수 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 10개 대학 도서관 웹사이트를 분석하였다. 분석을 위한 평가요소는 수업관련 교육, 협동학습, 학습평가 등 9개 항목이었다. 양적인 평가에서는 수업관련 교육, 정보검색 및 이용자 교육의 실시, 사서와 이용자간의 상호작용, 내용구성도, 탐색보조도구의 사용, 동화상정 보의 제공 등에서는 대체로 만족할 만한 수준에 있는 것으로 드러났다. 그러나 질적인 면에서는 사이트에 따라서 많은 차이를 보이고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 웹기반 이용자 교육 모델설계는 학습 설계에서 4가지, 인터페이스 설계에서 10가지 요소를 고려하여 이루어 졌다.

본 연구에서는 독서 준비성 요인을 이론적으로 고찰하고 여타의 전문가 집단 또는 상업적 벤더에 의해 개발 운영되고 있는 웹 기반 독서 준비성 측정 시스템을 살펴보았다. 그런 다음 이를 토대로 토털 개념의 웹 기반 독서 준비성 측정 시스템을 제안하였다. 이 같은 연구는 독서 준비성 측정 시스템을 운영하고 있는 도서관에는 이를 재점검하는 기회를 갖게 하고 도입하지 않은 도서관에는 그 방향을 설정하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
