The aim of this study was to discover the correlation between users cognitive style and their attitude towards evaluating the system. Postgraduate students cognitive styles were defined as Verbaliser/Imager and Wholist/Analytic, and the functionality and ease of learning features of a Web-based OPAC(Online Public Access Catalogue) system were evaluated using a combined evaluation methods: interviews for the preliminary survey, a questionnaire far the central data collection, and a psychometric approach for the judgement of students cognitive style using Ridings CSA(Cognitive Style Assessment) tool. Forty-four postgraduate student volunteers responded and data was analysed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) for Windows. The statistical analysis of each feature of the evaluation, the correlation between the variables, and the features were explored using Pearsons correlation coefficients(r). In exploring the effects of the cognitive styles of individuals, this study has failed to reveal a significant (P < 0.05) correlations in the interactive Web-based OPACs evaluation. It could be said that the contribution of cognitive styles to evaluating Web-based OPACs is likely to be weaker than that of non-cognitive (or demographic) variables.

This Paper Presents an Internet-based Java self-learning educational system which consists of a management system named Java Web Player (JWP) and creative multimedia contents fer Java language. The JWP Is a Java application program free from security problems by the Java Web Start technologies that supports an Integrated learning environment including three Important learning Procedures: Java concept learning Process, Programming practice process and assessment process. This JWP enables the learners to achieve efficient and Interesting self-learning since the learning process is designed to enhance the multimedia capabilities on the basis of various educational technologies. On-line voice presentation and its related texts together with moving images are synchronized for efficiently conveying creative contents to learners. Furthermore, a simple and useful compiler is included in the JWP fur providing user-friendly language practice environment enabling such as coding, editing, executing and debugging Java source files on the Web. The assessment process with various items helps the learners not only to increase their academic capability but also to appreciate their current degree of understanding. Finally, simple multiple choices are given suddenly to the learners while they are studying through the JWP and the test results are displayed on the message box. The proposed system can be used for an efficient tool for learning system on the Web.

There are a great number of difficulties without Interface Guideline, even though the utility of the web in the educational field has been increased. In spite of having a guideline there still remains problems, when the researcher develops a practical web design, because of uniformity and universality. The purpose of this research will give a good model and a guideline, developing a way of web-site assessment through psychological language. First, the researcher has to induce psychological language and recognize the relevance of the principle of device system. Second, they should build an assessment model based on an established system of classification. As a result, they recognized that an assessment model based on the system of psychological language can help in working out authentic design problems. The designer faces many difficulties when using Interface Guideline for the sake of the existing software developer because of specific terminology. On the contrary, these days, the guideline of psychological language system provides the designer with easy comprehension of language and also able to perceive problems in advance. In addition, the researcher can realize that it can be used, as a good source and data.

Process management techniques are highly important in the construction industry. However, indicators or details of assessment which will show process management and its performance are still very insufficient. In particular, it is true that local corporations or small and medium sized companies suffer more difficulties than ones in metropolitan areas. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a flexible process management and performance assessment system suited to field situations. This study identified problems of local small and medium sized companies, implemented a process and performance management system using the Lean concept, and systemized a web-based system. Also, the study proposed operational strategies so that small and medium construction companies may access and use the system easily. This will ensure the competitiveness of local small and medium sized companies, will pursue visible outcomes such as construction period reduction and construction cost reduction, and will be utilized as data related to performance assessment both during construction progress and after construction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners, and to evaluate the validity of the developed program. Methods: A web-based sexual health program was developed and evaluated: analysis (needs assessment on 23 patients and content analysis through literature review and web search), design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Results: The web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners was structured with sexual life, sexual response cycle, change of sexual function, sexual dysfunction related to treatment, and useful method for sexual dysfunction. This program included a video to improve for understanding and a bulletin board to promote bi-directional interactions between program users and providers. Experts and users rated this program in terms of efficacy, convenience, design, relevance, and usefulness. This program contents were found appropriate and satisfactory to both experts and users. Conclusion: This web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners would contribute to sexual health promotion for gynecologic cancer women and their partners.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the web-based nutrition counseling on the dietary behavior and food intake of hyperlipidemic patients and to evaluate the web-based nutrition counseling program. Forty hyperlipidemic patients, twenty of them were hypercholesterolemia and the other twenty were hypertriglyceridemia, participated in the web-based nutrition counseling program. At the first nutrition counseling, the patients were interviewed and then follow-up nutrition counselings were accomplished four times during eight weeks through a web-based internet program. The web-based nutrition counseling program was consisted of diet management, nutrition education and nutritional assessment and the follow-up counseling program. The dietary behavior score increased significantly in both groups after the nutrition counseling program(p<0.01). The diet therapy knowledge score also increased significantly (p<0.01). For food frequency, vegetable (p<0.01), fruit (p<0.05) and seaweed (p<0.01) consumption increased significantly, while meat (p<0.01), egg (p<0.01), snack (p<0.01) and instant food (p<0.01) intake decreased significantly in both groups after the nutrition counseling program. The evaluation of the web-based nutrition counseling program by the patients showed above average in all domains, specially the evaluation scores of younger aged patients habituated to practice computer were better than those of older aged patients. Therefore, this study shows that the web-based nutrition counseling program is effective for improving dietary behavior and food consumption the patients. In addition, these results indicate that internet presents us with potential as a new medium for nutrition counseling in informationized society.

Purpose: This study was done to develop a web-based education program on appropriate antibiotic use and test the effects of the program on knowledge and attitudes towards antibiotic use in Korean adolescents. Methods: The web-based education program was developed through an extensive literature review and professional advisory meetings including technical assistance from a web-based education programmer and content experts. A convenience sample of 851 students from middle and high schools participated in the assessment of effects of the program. Knowledge and attitudes of the students towards antibiotic use and satisfaction with the web-based education program were measured. Descriptive statistics and paired t-test were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant improvements in knowledge and attitudes towards antibiotic use following self-learning via the web-based education program in both middle and high school students. High school students demonstrated higher scores in knowledge and attitudes than middle school students. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that this web-based education program on appropriate antibiotic use is a convenient and effective medium for self-learning in adolescents. Therefore the web-based program should be put into wide use as an effective and convenient teaching method for health education in secondary schools.

Today, the typical web hacking attacks are cross-site scripting(XSS) attacks, injection vulnerabilities, malicious file execution and insecure direct object reference included. Web hacking security systems, access control solutions, access only to the web service and flow inside but do not control the packet. So you have been illegally modified to pass the packet even if the packet is considered as a unnormal packet. The defense system is to fail to appropriate controls. Therefore, in order to ensure a successful web services diagnostic system development is necessary. Web application diagnostic system is real and urgent need and alternative. The diagnostic system development process mu st be carried out step of established diagnostic systems, diagnostic scoping web system vulnerabilities, web application, analysis, security vulnerability assessment and selecting items. And diagnostic system as required by the web system environment using tools, programming languages, interfaces, parameters must be set.

Recently web is used for more things than ever before in education. Previous web-based programming education systems help students to check compile errors and runtime errors after submitting programming assignments anytime and anywhere. However, these previous systems cannot quickly provide the detailed assessment results on the generated answer, the coding style, and the plagiarism detection. In this paper, we propose a web-based programming education system to provide the quick results of the detailed assessment as soon as to submit programming assignments. In this system, the plagiarism detection method compares a current file with only the already uploaded files so it can provide quick feedback. The proposed web-based programming education system is applied to a real C programming language class with approximately 40 students. The proposed system tends to improve the students' participation by quick feedback.

There are various kinds of instructional models in the 7th national curriculum. Among them, cooperative learning is given to students in some schools. In cooperative learning, the items for assessing the team members are required in order to evaluate the individual activities for problem solving, and to know the way of objective thinking each student does. Web-based environment is good for cooperative learning. In this paper, as a previous research work of web-based cooperative learning, we propose new assessment items which are based on the outcome D belongs to the set of 11 student learning outcomes design attributed framework developed by ABET EC-2000 and the cognitive categories defined by Bloom's taxonomy. These assessment items consist of self and peer assessment. The self assessment items include the evidence of the students' thought and their own assessment. On the other hand, the peer assessment can give the students the opportunities to participate in their activities enthusiastically, to offer interactive individual feedbacks, and to develop potential through various experiences.
