This paper proposes a system to translate an RDB into an OWL ontology which enables the users to navigate the ontology in GUI. In order to accomplish the goals mentioned previously, the system overcame two difficulties. First, our system defines a new mapping algorithm to map between DB elements and ontology ones. Comparing with existing solutions, our algorithm is able to generate ontologies from more DB structures. Second, our system provides the same data generated by a reasoner to the users. Note that this operation does not load ABox ontology on a reasoner. In addition, Tableau-based reasoners have the tractability problem on a large ABox (e.g., large ABoxes translated from DBs practically cannot be served). To solve this, our system internally runs SQL queries to retrieve the same data as the one from a reasoner every time ABox elements are queried.

Objectives : This study was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Chuna Craniosacral therapy on headaches. Methods : 1. A combination of keywords, such as headache and Chuna Craniosacral therapy, were searched based on studies published in 11 databases (Pubmed, CAJ, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, KMBASE, KISS, KISTI, NDSL, RISS and DBPIA) up to October 31st, 2019. 2. The subjects were randomized controlled clinical studies using Chuna Craniosacral therapy. 3. We used the Cochrane perverse assessment tools for quality assessment. Results : 1. Six randomized controlled clinical studies were selected, and all 404 patients were evaluated. 2. As a result of the meta-analysis, Chuna Craniosacral therapy and scalp acupuncture showed no difference in treatment effect. 3. Chuna Craniosacral therapy showed a significant difference in treatment effect compared to Maitlands mobilization. 4. Chuna Craniosacral therapy showed a partial difference in treatment effect compared to low intensity magnetotherapy. 5. Chuna Craniosacral therapy group showed a significant effect on pain reduction compared to the untreated group. 6. All six papers showed a high degree of bias risk, with no mention of side effects or adverse events. Conclusion : This study provided only a limited assessment of the curative effects of Chuna Craniosacral therapy's headache treatment. However, there was no mention of side effects, and given the therapeutic effects analyzed in individual papers, it is believed that Craniosacral therapy can be used safely to treat headaches.
Background: Published data on the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the ESR1 gene and breast cancer susceptibility are inconclusive or controversial. The aim of this Human Genome Epidemiology (HuGE) review and meta-analysis was to derive a more precise estimation of this relationship. Methods: A literature search of Pubmed, Embase, Web of science and CBM databases was conducted from inception through September 1th, 2012. Crude odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to assess the strength of association. Results: A total of five studies including 1,678 breast cancer cases and 1,678 general population controls in Asian populations were involved in this meta-analysis. When all the eligible studies were pooled into the meta-analysis, the higher transcriptional activity variant allele T of ESR1 PvuII (C>T) (rs2234693) in pre-menopausal breast cancer women showed a significant relation to increased risk (OR = 1.13, 95%CI: 1.01-1.28, P = 0.040) in contrast to their post-menopausal counterparts which showed non-significant increased risk (OR = 1.01, 95%CI: 0.87-1.18, P = 0.858). Nevertheless, no significant association between ESR1 XbaI (A>G) (rs9340799) polymorphism and the risk of breast cancer was observed in pre-menopausal and post-menopausal individuals. Conclusion: Based on a homogeneous Asian population, results from the current meta-analysis indicates that the ESR1 PvuII (C>T) polymorphism places pre-menopausal breast cancer women at risk for breast cancer, while ESR1 XbaI (A>G) polymorphism is not likely to predict the risk of breast cancer.
Objective: The aim of this Human Genome Epidemiology (HuGE) review and meta-analysis was to derive a more precise estimation of the association between p53 codon 72 polymorphism (Arg72Pro, rs1042522 G>C) and cervical cancer risk among Asians. Methods: A literature search of Pubmed, Embase, Web of Science and CBM databases from inception through June 2012 was conducted. The meta-analysis was performed using STATA 12.0 software. Crude odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to assess the strength of any association. Twenty-eight case-control studies were included with a total of 3,580 cervical cancer cases and 3,827 healthy controls. When all the eligible studies were pooled into the meta-analysis, the results showed that the Pro/Pro genotype was associated with increased risk of cervical cancer under the heterozygous model (Pro/Pro vs. Arg/Pro: OR = 1.25, 95%CI: 1.02-1.53, P= 0.005). However, no statistically significant associations were found under four other genetic models (Pro vs. Arg: OR = 0.97, 95%CI: 0.85-1.10, P= 0.624; Pro/Pro + Arg/Pro vs. Arg/Arg: OR = 0.84, 95%CI: 0.70-1.01, P= 0.058; Pro/Pro vs. Arg/Arg + Arg/Pro: OR = 1.13, 95%CI: 0.92-1.39, P= 0.242; Pro/Pro vs. Arg/Arg: OR = 0.97, 95%CI: 0.76-1.22, P= 0.765; respectively). In the subgroup analysis based on country, the Pro/Pro genotype and Pro carrier showed significant associations with increased risk of cervical cancer among Indian populations, but not among Chinese, Japanese and Korean populations. Conclusion: Results from the current meta-analysis suggests that p53 codon 72 polymorphism might be associated with increased risk of cervical cancer, especially among Indians.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyse the domestic trends of Chuna treatments techniques in Korean literature. Methods: We searched the clinical trials on Chuna treatments through both electronic search(used keyword 'chuna') and hand search in 3 Korean web databases(OASIS, NDSL, RISS) and 4 related journals(The Journal of Korea CHUNA Manual Medicine for Spine & Nerves, Journal of Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine, The Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society, Journal of Korean Medicine Society). All relevant clinical trials were selected and extracted to be analyzed according to their published year, journals, types of study, used techniques. Results: The number of the clinical studies tends to increase every year. The studies on Chuna treatments were mainly published in The Journal of Korea Chuna Manual Medicine for Spine & Nerves. In case of types of study, case reports and case series were predominant. The most frequently adopted techniques of Chuna in studies were flexion distraction technique for lumbar spine and JS supine position cervical spine distraction. Conclusions: Through the results of this study, we hope that the more qualitative education could be conducted by strengthening the techniques which often used. Also analysis of the reason of rarely used techniques should be conducted and the modification or developing techinques should be followed as a counter measures. As applying more rigorous methodology, more qualitative evidence based Chuna studies should be conducted in future clinical research.

Phenylketonuria is a disease caused by congenital defects in phenylalanine metabolism that leads to irreversible nerve cell damage. However, its detection in the early days of life can reduce its severity. Thus, many countries have started disease screening programs for neonates. The present study aimed to determine the worldwide prevalence of classic phenylketonuria using the data of neonatal screening studies. The PubMed, Web of Sciences, Sciences Direct, ProQuest, and Scopus databases were searched for related articles. Article quality was evaluated using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Evaluation Checklist. A random effect was used to calculate the pooled prevalence, and a phenylketonuria prevalence per 100,000 neonates was reported. A total of 53 studies with 119,152,905 participants conducted in 1964-2017 were included in this systematic review. The highest prevalence (38.13) was reported in Turkey, while the lowest (0.3) in Thailand. A total of 46 studies were entered into the meta-analysis for pooled prevalence estimation. The overall worldwide prevalence of the disease is 6.002 per 100,000 neonates (95% confidence interval, 5.07-6.93). The meta-regression test showed high heterogeneity in the worldwide disease prevalence (I2=99%). Heterogeneity in the worldwide prevalence of phenylketonuria is high, possibly due to differences in factors affecting the disease, such as consanguineous marriages and genetic reserves in different countries, study performance, diagnostic tests, cutoff points, and sample size.

Objectives: To determine the evidence supporting the effectiveness and safety of Daoyin exercise therapy for treating low back pain. Methods: We searched 11 electronic databases(Pubmed, Web of Science, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CAJ, KISTI, KISS, NDSL, KMBASE, RISS, and DBpia) and two related journals, till April 2018 for randomized controlled trials(RCTs) related to testDaoyin exercise therapy for low back pain. Results: The inclusion criteria were fulfilled by eight RCTs. The meta-analysis of the eight studies showed positive results when Daoyin exercise therapy was used for treating low back pain. Conclusions: Based on the meta-analysis, we found indications for the favorable impact of Daoyin exercise therapy on the treatment of low back pain. However, our systematic review has limited evidence to support this theory because of the low quality of original articles. Hence, additional well-designed RCTs should be encouraged.
As XML has become an emerging standard for information exchange on the World Wide Web, it has gained attention in database communities to extract information from XML seen as a database model. XML queries are based on regular path queries, which find objects reachable by given regular expressions. To answer many kinds of user queries, it is necessary to evaluate queries that have multiple regular path expressions. However, previous work such as query rewriting and query optimization in the frame work of semistructured data has dealt with a single regular expression. For queries that have multiple regular expressions we suggest a two phase optimizing technique: 1. query rewriting using views by finding the mappings from the view's body to the query's body and 2. for rewritten queries, evaluating each query conjunct and combining them. We show that our rewriting algorithm is sound and our query evaluation technique is more efficient than the previous work on optimizing semistructured queries.
The previous studies to extract features for document through word association have the problems of updating profiles periodically, dealing with noun phrases, and calculating the probability for indices. We propose more effective feature extraction method which is using association word mining. The association word mining method, by using Apriori algorithm, represents a feature for document as not single words but association-word-vectors. Association words extracted from document by Apriori algorithm depend on confidence, support, and the number of composed words. This paper proposes an effective method to determine confidence, support, and the number of words composing association words. Since the feature extraction method using association word mining does not use the profile, it need not update the profile, and automatically generates noun phrase by using confidence and support at Apriori algorithm without calculating the probability for index. We apply the proposed method to document classification using Naive Bayes classifier, and compare it with methods of information gain and TFㆍIDF. Besides, we compare the method proposed in this paper with document classification methods using index association and word association based on the model of probability, respectively.
This study seeks to propose and develop library science courses required in the digital age by investigating overseas LIS courses and surveying field librarians. Such courses must help the future librarian develop familiarity and skill with emerging technologies. As a result, required courses in the digital era were found to be: 'Design and Management of Databases', 'Library Planning, Marketing, and Assessment', 'Understanding Information Technology for Managing Digital Collections', and 'Information and Communication in a Digital Age' in that order, and should therefore be offered as core courses. In addition, 'Service for Information Disadvantaged Users' and 'Organization and Utilization of Web resources' were derived. The study also recommends different required courses based on different librarian types and duties.
