멀티미디어 데이터의 생성 및 분배가 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라 산재된 메타데이터에 대한 효율적인 검색이 필요하게 되었다. 내용기반의 효율적인 검색을 지원하기 위해 MPEG-7의 표준이 제정되면서 내용기반 영상의 검색의 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 조건들을 해결하기 위해 MPEG-7 디스크립터와 자체 개발한 Compact 디스크립터를 이용하여 Web 기반으로 검색 시스템을 구현하고 바이오 이미지를 위한 디스크립터의 조합을 제공한다. 이미지의 feature 추출 인터페이스와 검색 인터페이스를 웹 어플리케이션으로 구현해 웹 브라우저만으로 이미지의 효율적인 저장, 검색 및 관리를 할 수 있고 XML 형태로 표현된 feature 를 다양한 용도로 확장 할 수 있다.

The information space of semantic web comprised of various resources, properties, and relationships is more complex than that of WWW comprised of just documents and hyperlinks. Therefore, ranking methods in the semantic web should be modified to reflect the complexity of the information space. In this paper we propose a method of ranking query results from RDF(Resource Description Framework) knowledge bases. The ranking criterion is the importance of a resource computed based on the link structure of the RDF graph. Our method is expected to solve a few problems in the prior research including the Tightly-Knit Community Effect. We illustrate our methods using examples and discuss directions for future research.

UCC paradigm based on Web 2.0 has made new business models and came to the forefront as a commercial media. The purpose of this study is to analyze the customer attitudes toward UCC and its effects as a commercial media. Based on prior studies of Internet and Web advertising, informativeness, entertainment, irritation, trust, usefulness, ease of use, incentives, and flow were identified as affecting factors of the attitude of UCC advertising. Results show that informativeness, entertainment, irritation, trust, ease of use, and flow are significantly related to the attitude of UCC advertising, but usefulness and incentives are not. Customer attitude toward UCC advertising was also found to be significantly related to the such effects as brand attitude, word of mouth, and intention to buy. This study contributes to improve the understanding of UCC as a commercial media and provides the base of activation strategies for it.

E-Business part is activated to base on contents for supports various constomer's desire. Thus, this research designed Wokeflow for efficient E-Business contents supervision and processing that apply Web-Based EJB component technology. Accordingly, 1 used web server component model EJB for handling of various contents. Components of function module can improve system development efficiency of reusability, maintenance etc.. to process various contents.

With active research on Web ontology, various storages and query languages have been developed to store Web Ontology. As SPARQL usage increases and most of storages are based on relational data base, the necessity of SPARQL-to-SQL translation algorithm development becomes issued. Even though several translation algorithms have been proposed, there still remain the following problems. They do not support fully SPARQL clauses and they are dependent on a specific storage model. This paper proposes a new model to use a specific translation algorithm independently on storages.

Web development and Internet technology development bring many kinds of works to web. This is the main reason why XML, document standard is popular. XML in web can be used to express document template or standard. XML with java can be more powerful and general. For example, XML can be used to transmit data and to print data into the screen using Ajax in JSP(Java Server Page) and to make interfaces in android, which is useful to reduce development cycle. However, XML is not easy to learn for the novice. In this paper, we propose the easy and effective way to reduce the learning curve of XML and to make and use XML documents. For the purpose, we suggest template base XML document generation and we design and implement XML document generator based on Template. XML document generator of template-based provides user interface and layout of XML document. So, users can generate XML document easily and effectively.

This paper proposes structural analysis on the World Wide Web to form a part of the architectural design project. It purposes modeling space frames and a structural analysis program on the internet only by inputting basic data for forming a shape in the whole phase of space frame analysis. The analysis data is conducted by Oracle DBMS(DataBase Management System), GUI(Graphic User Internet) by Java Applet and connection with server and database by Java Servlet respectively. The result from modeling and analysis is provided as graphic and text file forms by web browsers. Programs can be executed irrespective of user's OS by using internet and highly-secured system is constructed taking advantage of Java. Of great efficiency is maintaining and recycling data as the whole is dealt by database from the beginning to the end of program.

This paper proposes a new access method which is to considered the high variability in World Wide Web and manage the web cache space. Instead of using a single cache, we divide a cache and store all documents according to their file types. Proposed method was compares with current cache management policies using LFU, LRU and SIZE base algorithm. Using two different workload, we show the improvement hitting ratio and byte hitting ratio through simulating on the file type caching.

GIS became increasingly important in information-oriented society as social indirect capital and many GIS data are developed. To use these data effectively standard format that enables easy to transport and store is needed. For this purpose, OGC developed GML based on XML as web standard format of geographical information. In this study, web based mapping with respect to digital geologic map and gravity anomaly map was accomplished using GML. While, styling methods were implemented in XSLT to make the visualizing suitable for the character of each layer, so it is possible to make dynamic maps in the SVG. GML-base map produced in this study can be transferred and represented without loss of the meaning and degrading on the web.
