An Efficient Scheme for Web Services Performance Improvement (웹 서비스 성능 개선 방안)

  • This paper proposes a novel Web Services enhancement method, which enhances XML based e-commerce and Web Services securely and efficiently. Recently, the ratio of XML Denial of Services (XDOS) is increased significantly However, XML data is visible only at the target application site or the application layer. Thus, an efficient and secure mechanism handling XML data on the network layer to provide fast performance on the server and protect XDOS at network level is strongly required basic component. This paper presents many issues and gives useful results from the various experiments to support an implemented XAN platform.

  • In 2007, Google has introduced a novel approach to model some cities from around the world by utilizing vast amount of information provided by internet users. They essentially built an efficient engine to collect and compile enormous stream of data that are necessary to reproduce fine details of a city. In this Letter, we propose an implementation of this novel approach to establish a Web-based visualization of rural landscape and scenery. We later demonstrate its feasibility by constructing a 3D model of Namsa-ri, Danseong-myeon, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for the design and implementation of a web-based 3D fashion shopping mall. Web 3D shopping mall is implemented by using a Web3D authoring tool, ISB, which provides easy mouse operation. 3D human models and cloth item model are designed by low polygon modeling method of 3D MAX. The designed 3D human models and cloth item model are exported to XML file. Finally, 3D human models and cloth item model are displayed and animated on the Web by using ActiveX control based on DirectX. We also implemented textile palette and mapped it to clothes model by using alpha blending during simulation.

  • The main contents of this paper is to develope effective measures for Internet Web service attack, classifying vulnerability of Web Service by network layer and host unit and researching classification method by attack range of type of services. Using this paper, we can accumulate analyzed Web service attack information which is key information of promote Web security strengthening business, and basis of relevant security research for detect and response Web site attack which can contribute to activation information security industry.

  • As future warfare becomes network-centric, war-game simulators require high interoperability between networked forces and dynamic reconfiguration in accordance with war events. In this paper, we propose an event-driven methodology to develop dynamic war-game simulations. Federates are developed by event-driven web services. The event-driven web services consistently sense war events and response them only if they are interested. By the sense-and-response mechanism and asynchronous event processing, we are able to save simulation time. An Anti-Surface-Warfare simulator is constructed to demonstrate the methodology and suggests that event-driven web services are efficient to model and simulate warfare where numerous events are generated from hardware systems and people dispersed on the network.

  • In order to realize the virtual prototyping (VP) of digital products, it is important to provide the people involved in product development with the appropriate visualization and interaction of the products, and the vivid simulation of user interface (UI) behaviors in an interactive 3D virtual environment. In this paper, we propose an approach to web-based 3D virtual experience using Unity and Leap Motion. We adopt Unity as an implementation platform which easily and rapidly implements the visualization of the products and the design and simulation of their UI behaviors, and allows remote users to get an easy access to the virtual environment. Additionally, we combine Leap Motion with Unity to embody natural and immersive interaction using the user's hand gesture. Based on the proposed approach, we have developed a testbed system for web-based 3D virtual experience and applied it for the design evaluation of various digital products. Button selection test was done to investigate the quality of the interaction using Leap Motion, and a preliminary user study was also performed to show the usefulness of the proposed approach.

  • In learning activities. research learning is mostly carried out in a laboratory. Learners can approach a learning process with ease and are given the chance to do the self-directed study one research experiments in advance by designing a process of research learning in the laboratory by a web-based simulation courseware. And this can offer a learner-centered model with which learners can share. exchange and interact information each other. Using a web in instructing and learning can be an appropriate implement of research and also gives learner-centered learning environment. This thesis is a study on design and implementation of a web-based simulation courseware for learning Kinetic energy through the research learning which is one of the self leading learning methods.

  • 3D modeling and rendering technologies are getting more attention from landscape planners and architects because the virtual reality based on 3D graphic technology could give more realistic experience to landscape simulation users and boost promotional effects. The 3D landscape simulation, however, not only requires a lot of cost and time in production, but also demands efforts to distribute to consumers due to various computing environment of them. The purpose of this study is to suggest a process for developing an interactive 3D landscape simulator with low-cost, which can support multi-platform functionality in high quality through reviewing related current software and web services. We select GIMP for 2D image texturing, SketchUpfor 3D modeling, Unity for real-time rendering, and Google Earth for terrain modeling considering price and workability and apply the developed process for Windows, Web, and Android versions to test the applicability for Sangji-ri, Gosam-myeon, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

  • In this study, the simulation program using the randomwalk model is developed. Generally, students in the chemistry class have some difficulties to understand the motion of atomic particles or molecules. And then, they have many mis-conceptions about the motion of molecules. This program expressed by the computer simulations using the randomwalk theory may help students to understand visually the process of molecular motion. This program can be used easily, because it is based on Web by application of JAVA languages. The program consists of two parts. One is 'Diffusion' program, expressing the process of molecular diffusion as a computer simulation. Another is 'Randomwalk' program, expressing the trajectory of molecular motion to help the students to follow the random motion virtually.

  • 본 연구는 임의의 지역을 선정하여 그 지역의 환경 색채를 분석한 후 NCS색체계와 히스토그래밍을 이용하여 주조색, 보조색, 강조색을 추출한 후 그 지역의 특성에 맞는 배색코드들을 제안한다. 이를 위해 색채조화론에 근거한 Color Dictionary를 제작하였으며 특정 지역을 3D모델링 한 최적의 배색 코드를 추출하여 주변 환경과 잘 어울리는 색채 시뮬레이션을 제시하고 Web3D 표준기술을 이용하여 상호작용과 다양한 뷰포인트에서 시연할 수 있는 프로그램 환경을 구축하였다. 이에 따른 기대효과는 첫째, 국가 홍보에 있어서 경쟁력 제고를 위한 효과. 둘째, 도시환경 색채계획의 기준틀 제시. 셋째, 색채계획의 단순화. 넷째, 도시문화를 형성. 다섯째, 색채계획에 관련된 학문에 응용 가능. 여섯째, 국가 문화산업, 콘덴츠 등 발전에 기여할 것으로 생각된다.
