웹서비스 방식을 기반으로 한 동적 개방형 의사결정지원시스템 (Dynamic and Open Decision Support System based on Web Services)

  • Open Decision Support System(DSS) is an automated and transparent system that is built to be shared both within and across organizations. The open DSS has been thought to be a set of decision components that are communicating through Web protocols. These characteristics intuitively invite the Web services concepts, which are currently one of the new trends in network-based business services. However, web services still are not active enough to be autonomous, and to provide for composing functionalities. These lead to the motivation on building a sophisticated web service to contain these features and to utilize web services on behalf of the user. This paper aims to propose a new concept of Meta Web Service, a web service-based open DSS. Decision modules in a dynamic and open DSS can be viewed as a web service. The Meta Web Service understands the users problem statement with ontology, performs web service discovery, web service composition, and automatically generates codes for composite web service execution. A prototype of example web service has been developed to show the feasibility of the proposed idea.

Development of Web UX Pattern System for Wordpress Service, and Design Suggestion for Wordpress Theme Filtering Service

  • This study focused on realizing the UX pattern elements for Wordpress service, and applying the UX pattern approach to enhance UX consideration in Wordpress theme service. The Wordpress UX pattern system was developed based on web UX pattern analysis, and on characteristics of Wordpress components and theme filtering tags. The Wordpress UX pattern system was further analyzed in 22 popular Wordpress themes and 20 web UX scenarios, to evaluate its working by defining theme UX as a case study. The Wordpress theme filtering service GUI was designed based on the Wordpress UX pattern system as a design suggestion. Web technology is evolving rapidly, and web design has become a ready-made service with less user experience consideration, or design creativity. This study directs to keep track of UX value in an emerging web service paradigm.

음성인식용 웹페이지 변환을 위한 웹서비스 구현 (The Implementation of the Web Service for the Conversion of Speech-Recognition Web Page)

  • 본 연구에서는 일반 웹페이지를 음성인식이 가능한 웹페이지로 전환하고, 이 페이지가 사용 될 수 있는 웹서비스를 구현하였다. 구현한 시스템은 웹서비스 소비자와 웹페이지를 변환하는 웹서비스 제공자, 음성인식 웹서비스 제공자로 구성되어 있다. 웹페이지 변환 웹서비스 제공자는 정규식을 이용하여 일반 웹페이지를 분석하고 음성인식용 웹페이지로 변환한다. 사용자의 음성을 분석하고 인식하는 음성인식기는 기존의 연구에서 구현된 음성인식 웹서비스 제공자를 이용하였다. 실험 결과, 웹페이지에서 태그를 분석하여 웹페이지를 변환하고 하이퍼링크를 추출하는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • According as IT environment changes from client/server system to the open system based on web service technologies, the exchange of data and services between independent applications and service servers in web environment is observed Recently. In this points, it is necessary that Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Imagery Information Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems based on the location and geometry information are inter-related each other. But, the inter-relation of these systems is very difficult because of the closed system architecture, different information format, and the absence of interoperability technologies. In this Paper, we describe 4S integration system based web service technologies that accept the international standard as WFS, WCS, WRS of OGC (OpenGIS Consortium) and UDDI, SOAP, WSDL of W3C. In detail, we study the system architecture design and implementation of traffic information service, routing service, and tracing service. These services are consisting of the data schema based on XML and GML, various functions of each layered service, each server platform, and web server. Specially, we represent that GML is being applied to a wide range of location-based services, telematics, and intelligent transportation

  • Recent web environment needs a web service method that can integrate the individual web service. The UDDI registry can accommodate this need by classifying the information of the web service system for an easy retrieval of the information, thus it reduces the time to find a specific web service. Using the basic information search function of the UDDI registry, the web provider can offer various types of information to the client. In this paper, we implemented the process of registering the information to the UDDI registry and retrieving the various types of information from the UDDI registry in a given format.

A Hybrid Service Orchestration Framework based on BPEL4WS

  • As the value of B2B integration gets more importance and the business process becomes more complex, BPEL4WS standard has been focused for the solution of the problems which is based on web service technology. Many vendors implement the standard in their systems to integrate B2B and web service based inner-Enterprise Application(EA)s. But there is no way to use the standard to integrate non-web service based EAs, because the standard is designed only for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) over web services. This paper proposes Hybrid Service Orchestration Framework to participate web services and also non-web service based EAs in the business process as a partner using BPEL4WS standard. The framework introduces Hybrid Service Architecture to represent non-web service based EAs as a service, so BPEL4WS could be used to integrate web services and non-web service based EAs. And the framework also introduces Hybrid Service Toolkit to support software level facilities. The paper also introduces Hybrid Orchestration System that is based on Hybrid Service Orchestration Framework.

  • Information system outsourcing induces firms to concentrate on the core competence and to improve business value by utilizing specialized information systems outsourcing vendors. However, for those strategic effects, the outsourced information systems should guarantee a certain service level. Now companies are considering to adopt SLA(Service Level Agreement) as a method to check the service level of the outsourced information systems in quantitative terms. On the contrary, customer satisfaction survey supports qualitative analysis, and helps companies to understand the qualitative effects on information system more systematically. Recently, the growing use of the internet makes customer satisfaction survey to be carried out on the web. For that reason, lots of researches related to web survey have been performed. But these researches are just focused on finding out only items to be measured and the effect of web survey. In this paper, based on the service quality research model for information system outsourcing, we formalize and propose a web survey process, a system architecture, and a functional structure for information system outsourcing customer satisfaction survey. Additionally, we provide the implementation results for the web survey systems.

  • 최근에 시멘틱 웹에 대한 관심과 기대가 증가함에 따라 시멘틱 웹 기반의 웹서비스인 시멘틱 웹서비스에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존의 웹서비스는 XML 기반의 웹서비스 기술 언어인 WSDL을 사용하지만 시멘틱 웹서비스에서는 DAML-S와 같은 온톨로지 언어기반의 웹서비스 기술 언어를 사용한다. 시멘틱 웹서비스에 대한 연구는 웹서비스 검색, 웹서비스 구동, 웹서비스 구성, 웹서비스 실행 모니터링 등의 관점에서 수행되고 있다 특히, 시멘틱 웹서비스 검색은 시멘틱 웹서비스의 궁극적인 목적을 달성하기 위한 가장 기반이 되는 분야로 기존의 정보 검색과는 다른 특징들을 가지고 있다. 즉, 시멘틱 웹 기술 언어에 적합한 저장 시스템과 검색 방법이 요구된다. 이에 부합하여 관련된 시스템이 많이 개발되고 있으나 지능로봇 응용과 같은 제한된 메모리 공간 및 디스크 공간을 가지는 임베디드 환경에서 기존의 시스템을 적용하기에는 부적합하다. 이와 관련하여, 이 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템 환경에서 시멘틱 웹서비스 검색에 이용될 수 있도록 하기 위해서 DAML-S 서비스 지원을 위한 효율적인 DAML+OIL 문서 관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 우리는 이 논문에서 소개한 시스템의 특성을 다른 시스템과 비교하여 기술한다.

시스템 상호 운용성을 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 RFID 미들웨어 구현 (An Implementation of The RFID Middleware Based on Web-Service System Mutual Applications)

  • Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) has emerged as the main technology in the logistic services. When the existing recognition technology based on bar codes brings about lots of problem due its own limits. RFID becomes the center of attention to solve them. However, RFID is not without any obstacles : companies have their own operating systems. while RFID is developed regardless of each campany's special features. RFID middleware system based on web service is expected to remove these obstacles. This paper shows how to operate the middleware based on web service and to lay in the DB the tag informations taken from reader system Middle assures that companies adopting RFID system for their logistic service are given athptabwebty to any systems whatsoever, avaweable by way of defining logistic information, tag information and reader information. For this purse, we implement as the basic web service a middleware system that turns all data into XML(eXtensatle Markupmsngunfo) of SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol), the standard data.
