  • 웹의 발전에 따라 거대해진 웹사이트들은 서로 복잡하게 얽혀진 링크들로 인해 웹 개발과 유지보수에 큰 어려움이 따른다. 효율적인 웹 개발과 유지보수를 위해서는 웹에서 가장 중요한 정보의 단위인 링크정보들을 추출할 수 있는 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 웹 브라우저 요청에 의해 반환된 HTTP 헤더분석과 HTML 문서의 태그분석을 통해 링크들을 추출하여 “끊어진 링크”를 찾고, 추출된 “링크요소”들과 서버에 저장된 파일들을 비교하여 “사용되지 않는 파일”들을 찾아주는 “링크 분석기”시스템을 개발함으로 써 웹 개발과 유지보수에 있어서 가장 기본적이면서도 중요한 링크관리에 대한 방법을 제시한다

Predicting Interesting Web Pages by SVM and Logit-regression (SVM과 로짓회귀분석을 이용한 흥미있는 웹페이지 예측)

  • Automated detection of interesting web pages could be used in many different application domains. Determining a user's interesting web pages can be performed implicitly by observing the user's behavior. The task of distinguishing interesting web pages belongs to a classification problem, and we choose white box learning methods (fixed effect logit regression and support vector machine) to test empirically. The result indicated that (1) fixed effect logit regression, fixed effect SVMs with both polynomial and radial basis kernels showed higher performance than the linear kernel model, (2) a personalization is a critical issue for improving the performance of a model, (3) when asking a user explicit grading of web pages, the scale could be as simple as yes/no answer, (4) every second the duration in a web page increases, the ratio of the probability to be interesting increased 1.004 times, but the number of scrollbar clicks (p=0.56) and the number of mouse clicks (p=0.36) did not have statistically significant relations with the interest.

  • Intranet system for use within an organization, usually a corporation, is to basically pass through user authentication, but information can be leaked, modified, and deleted by malevolent users who disguise an authorized user or due to user's mistakes in using various functions of web browser. Thus, there is a need for measures to protect the information from illegal use, transformation through partial modification, and illegal leakage such as fraudulent use. This paper presents a flexible Web Security Access Control system based ACM which Provide efficient suity Policy to Protect information in intranet. This Web Security Access Control system not only enhances security by Performing encryption/decryption of information in intranet but also, for sharing confidential information among departments, performs effective and useful access control by assigning different authority to the secured web page. And, by controlling the functions of client PC in various ways, information leakage on malicious purpose or by mistake can be prevented.

  • As web apps have evolved faster and become more complex, their validation and verification have become essential for their development and maintenance. Efficient validation and verification require understanding of how web components collaborate with each other to meet user requests. Thus, this paper proposes a new approach to automatically extracting such collaboration when a user issues a request for a new page. The approach is dynamic and less sensitive to web development languages and technologies, compared to static extraction approaches. It considers an orignal web app as a black-box and does not change the app's behavior. The empirical evaluation shows that our approach can be applicable to extract component collaboration and understand the behavior of open source web apps.

  • The growth of Web comics is very noticeable in Korean comic market as the 21st century is entered. In amongst these1 trends, the scroll comics had established it self as one of the main stream form for expression, outside the form of the traditional published comics, so it is providing a new visual experience for the readers. The scroll method uses the large vertical space that is uncomparable to the column compartment of the printed comics, and its uses of animation-like techniques, innovative partitioning, flob styles and narration partition positioning, the limitless canvas and the scroll bar of the web page, is leading the digital comic age. However, it is still very uncertain whether the 'scroll comics' will still be valid in the age of Web2.0. It is concerning that even though there are limitless potential in the realms of digital and web, the web comics seem to be bound to one particular medium, 'scroll'. In this report, the form of expression in the scroll centered web comics will be analyzed, and based on this, the future evolution of digital comics shall be investigated.

Evaluation of dental web site usability in Korea (국내 치과 웹사이트에 대한 사용성 평가)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the dental website usability in Korea. The dental website included dental university hospital, network dental hospital and dental office. Methods: The study was carried out by three age groups including twenties, thirties, and forties. Each group consisted of ten customers and evaluated twelve websites of dental hospitals. Each was assigned to four hospitals and three tasks including easiness of online reservation, preventive information, and treatment information. They filled out the self-administered questionnaire. The questionnaire included the easiness of on-line reservation, satisfaction on the quality and quantity of preventive informations, satisfaction on the quality and quantity of treatment informations, predictiveness on the sub-menu, usefulness of site map, information on the main page of web site, usefulness of decision on visit to dentistry, and revisit intention. Results: The easiness of on-line reservation was the highest in the private dental office, and university dental hospital and network dental hospitals followed in conducting task(1). The anticipated value and measurement on the usefulness of web site were the lowest in network dental hospitals and the time interval between two values was 57 seconds. This discrepancy showed the largest difference. The satisfaction on treatment information in task(3) was higher than that of the satisfaction on preventive information in task (2). The revisit intention was the highest in dental university hospitals. Conclusions: This study showed the comparison in usefulness of web site of university dental hospitals, network dental hospitals and private dental office. The web site focused on the treatment information rather than preventive information. This study suggested that the most important function of dental web site would be the preventive information that was mainly operated by the role of dental hygienists rather than treatment information in the future.

In this paper, administration efficiency raising of Web-based factory monitoring system to do monitoring when everywhere integrating operation present condition current point of time of discrete factories in inside and outside of the country by purpose design and implemented. That is, do to normalize system structure and achievement function, and administration data of Web-based, and design using VML (Unified Modeling Language) and take advantage of ASP (Active Server Pages) and implemented web function. Implemented Web-based factory monitoring system is applying two factory (Kl, K2) of K CO., LTD. tire operation division to caravan, and application result was evaluated by very efficient thing to grasp operation situation of whole factory synthetically.

  • In For the past few years, query log data has been collected to find user's behavior in using the site. Many researches have studied on the usage of query logs to extract user's preference, recommend personalization, improve caching and pre-fetching of Web objects, build better adaptive user interfaces, and also to improve Web search for a search engine application. A query log contain data such as the client's IP address, time and date of request, the resources or page requested, status of request HTTP method used and the type of browser and operating system. A query log can offer valuable insight into web site usage. A proper compilation and interpretation of query log can provide a baseline of statistics that indicate the usage levels of website and can be used as tool to assist decision making in management activities. In this paper we want to discuss on the tasks performed of query logs in pre-processing of web usage mining. We will use query logs from an online newspaper company. The query logs will undergo pre-processing stage, in which the clickstream data is cleaned and partitioned into a set of user interactions which will represent the activities of each user during their visits to the site. The query logs will undergo essential task in pre-processing which are data cleaning and user identification.

HTML Text Extraction Using Frequency Analysis (빈도 분석을 이용한 HTML 텍스트 추출)

  • Recently, text collection using a web crawler for big data analysis has been frequently performed. However, in order to collect only the necessary text from a web page that is complexly composed of numerous tags and texts, there is a cumbersome requirement to specify HTML tags and style attributes that contain the text required for big data analysis in the web crawler. In this paper, we proposed a method of extracting text using the frequency of text appearing in web pages without specifying HTML tags and style attributes. In the proposed method, the text was extracted from the DOM tree of all collected web pages, the frequency of appearance of the text was analyzed, and the main text was extracted by excluding the text with high frequency of appearance. Through this study, the superiority of the proposed method was verified.

  • Phishing is a form of online identity theft that aims to steal sensitive information such as online banking passwords and credit card information from users. Phishing scams have been receiving extensive press coverage because such attacks have been escalating in number and sophistication. According to a study by Gartner, Many Internet users have identified the receipt of e-mail linked to phishing scams and about 2 million of them are estimated to have been tricked into giving away sensitive information. This paper presents a novel browser extension, AntiPhish, that aims to protect users against spoofed web site-based phishing attack.
