Log Analysis System Design using RTMA

  • Every web server comprises a repository of all actions and events that occur on the server. Server logs can be used to quantify user traffic. Intelligent analysis of this data provides a statistical baseline that can be used to determine server load, failed requests and other events that throw light on site usage patterns. This information provides valuable leads on marketing and site management activities. In this paper, we propose a method of design for log analysis system using RTMA(realtime monitoring and analysis) technique.

  • 현재 온라인 마케팅 분석을 위해 웹로그 분석시스템을 사용하여 마케팅 결과에 대한 분석을 하고 있지만, 전환에 대한 원인 분석이 사용자의 접속 당시 정보에 의한 데이터로만 분석되고 있어, 본 연구에서는 전환 데이터 분석에 대한 좀 더 현실적으로 분석하기 위한 알고리즘 연구를 제안한다.

An Empirical Study on the relevance of Web Traffic for Valuation of Internet Companies (인터넷 기업의 웹 트래픽 정보와 기업가치의 상관관계에 관한 실증연구)

  • Web traffic is becoming an important indicator to make inferences about internet companies' future prospects so that traditional firm valuation methods need to be modified to integrate the ideas of web traffic information as a major asset of internet companies. It is because web traffic is a measure of attracting visitors to firm's web site and is the basis for internet companies' marketing expenditure and customer acquisition and retention. Also the web traffic represents the internet companies' technological advances and marketability. The major purpose of this study is to show the relevance of web traffic for valuation of internet companies. For this, we test hypothesis with the firm's web traffic and financial data using the analysis model of Hand(2000a) derived from the log-linear model introduced by Ye and Finn(1999). Test results show that the web traffic, more specifically the number of unique visitors, visits, and page views are all positively related to the firm's value. This implies that the web traffic information should be considered as one of the important non-financial indicator for the internet firm valuation.

  • UCC stands right in the center of web 2.0 era represented by share, participation, and openness. Moving picture UCC has been facilitated by If infrastructure advancement and sociocultural changes. Its prospect is expected to be brighter because presumers are spreading, cost of creating and distributing contents is greatly reduced, and there is going to appear more companies utilizing UCC in improving firm's competitiveness. In this paper, various UCC business models are analyzed and hot major issues faced by UCC industry such as profit model and copyright are discussed. In addition, strategies for UCC business success and opportunities and challenges confronted by UCC businesses are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose development of simulation for make-up coordination by computer graphics and web animation program. In the 20th century, the power of the internet and www has been growing at such a rapid speed and also has provided the possibility of numerous market. Especially the internet marketing of womens products like cosmetics come into the spotlight as the way of sales. Many companies advertise their new products and give useful guidline of make-up technic on the website. So the contents of the website is one of the important thing to lead customer to purchasing. For the reason, this study tries develope a simulation of model in which customer can select their shape of face, color and theme whatever necessary. The model, color, theme palletes were designed by 'PHOTOSHOP 6.0'and the web image of simulation was made by 'FLASH ANIMATION 5.0'. As a result of this study is 1. It can give the chance to customer to make their own image of shape, color and theme through the simulation more speedly and exactly. 2. It can help company to advertise their new products, offer service for customers and lead customers to purchasing. 3. By accummulating the database, it can help to develop educational make-up system.

  • Fashion companies are using a big data approach as a key strategic analysis to predict and forecast sales. This study investigated the effectiveness of the past sales, web search volume, information amount, brand promotion, and the advertising endorser on the sales forecasting model. The study conducted the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) time series model using the internal and external social big data of a national fashion brand. Results indicated that the brand's past sales, search volume, promotion, and amount of advertising endorser information amount significantly affected the sales forecast, whereas the brand's advertising endorser search volume and information amount did not significantly influence the sales forecast. Moreover, the brand's promotion had the highest correlation with sales forecasting. This study adds to information-searching behavior theory by measuring consumers' brand involvement. Last, this study provides digital marketers with implications for developing profitable marketing strategies on the basis of consumers' interest in the brand and advertising endorser.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of e-service quality factors on customer satisfaction and behavior intention. This study also aims to examine the relationship between the variables of web site service quality variables (reliability, information, design, communication, entertainment, convenience), the customer satisfaction with web site, relationship intention and word of mouth intention. As the results, the study found that factors of web site service quality variables has a positive impact on customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction also has a positive impact on relationship intention and word of mouth intention. At the same time, it was found that customer satisfaction had an effect on relationship intention through the mediation of word of mouth intention indirectly as well as directly. According to those results, marketing managers should develop different service strategies.

Clustering Analysis of Films on Box Office Performance : Based on Web Crawling (영화 흥행과 관련된 영화별 특성에 대한 군집분석 : 웹 크롤링 활용)

  • Forecasting of box office performance after a film release is very important, from the viewpoint of increase profitability by reducing the production cost and the marketing cost. Analysis of psychological factors such as word-of-mouth and expert assessment is essential, but hard to perform due to the difficulties of data collection. Information technology such as web crawling and text mining can help to overcome this situation. For effective text mining, categorization of objects is required. In this perspective, the objective of this study is to provide a framework for classifying films according to their characteristics. Data including psychological factors are collected from Web sites using the web crawling. A clustering analysis is conducted to classify films and a series of one-way ANOVA analysis are conducted to statistically verify the differences of characteristics among groups. The result of the cluster analysis based on the review and revenues shows that the films can be categorized into four distinct groups and the differences of characteristics are statistically significant. The first group is high sales of the box office and the number of clicks on reviews is higher than other groups. The characteristic of the second group is similar with the 1st group, while the length of review is longer and the box office sales are not good. The third group's audiences prefer to documentaries and animations and the number of comments and interests are significantly lower than other groups. The last group prefer to criminal, thriller and suspense genre. Correspondence analysis is also conducted to match the groups and intrinsic characteristics of films such as genre, movie rating and nation.

  • Although Korea's e-government is at the level of developed countries, it has been pointed out that the introduction of SOA is too slow. It also points out that the government's low SOA level has a negative impact on the UN's e-government rankings. In 2002, Korea introduced the first web service in the domestic public sector. At that time, there were few cases in the world where Web services were introduced in the public sector. However, the advanced e-government advanced countries already have SOA ideology based on e-government. Denmark and so on have SOA ideologies on the basis of e-government, and many countries make and use service repositories. In this environment, we analyze the application status of web service centered on the case of e - government in Japan.

  • The opinion mining is that to use the existing data mining technology also uploaded blog to web, to use product comment, the opinion mining can extract the author's opinion therefore it not judge text's subject, only judge subject's emotion. In this paper, published opinion mining algorithms and the text using speech recognition API for non-voice data to judge the emotions suggested. The system is open and the Subject associated with Google Voice Recognition API sunwihwa algorithm, the algorithm determines the polarity through improved design, based on this interview, speech recognition, which implements the model.
