The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of school library services on fostering students' core competencies. In doing the research, web survey has been conducted and the data of 211 high school students were analyzed. First, the high school students' awareness of school library service facilitation is ranked 3.72 out of 5 point. High school student users' self efficacy is examined toward six core competencies of "2015 Revised Curriculum". The point of communication skills turns out to be 4.07 which is relatively high, and that of creative thinking skills is 3.66, which is relatively low. The analysis of correlations between awareness of school library service facilitations and core competency skills and self efficacy shows quantitatively meaningful correlations in all six competency areas. Based on the consequences of the study, the foundation will be established on the orientation of school library service and the acceleration of practice of competency-based education.

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to investigate data aspects in Library and Information Science curricula at all levels in selected African Universities. Design/methodology/approach - A review of existing literature on data aspects and LIS Curricula. Secondly, the study juxtaposed web-based courses for fourteen LIS schools to establish data aspects incorporated into their curricula. Findings - The study's findings found that although many LIS schools have some form of data aspects in curricula, coverage is still very limited and basic.

Purpose: The study was aimed to assess the competency and professional attitude of school health nurses who are occupied with adolescent health, and to provide basic information for the development of continuing education programs for them to improve their competencies. Method: The self-reported questionnaire based on WHO assessment tool were used to assess the competencies of the school health nurses providing health care for adolescents. The subjects were 584 school health nurses and the data were collected from January 28 to March 5, 2002. Result: The school health nurses in middle schools showed significantly higher scores than the school health nurses in primary schools on the level of competency. The nurses were scored the highest in the area of dealing with sexual issues for the students, followed by providing them direct care and application of primary care concept to the field of school health nursing. The areas showing the lowest scores were counseling and utilization of the system. There was a significant positive correlation between competency and professional attitude of the school health nurses. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop various continuing educational programs for school health nurses using different teaching methods such as web-based program.

This study aimed to examine the effects of the web-contents nursing education program for fundamental nursing. The study is non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 64 nursing students in M City. The data was collected from September to October in 2013. The result showed that there were significant improvement in learning motivation(t=5.44, p<.001), practice satisfaction (t=6.98, p<.001), core nursing skills(p<.001) in the experimental group than the control group. However, self-directed learning was not statistically signigicant between the groups. Therefore, this study confirmed that the effect of the web-contents nursing education program in the fundamental nursing practicum. Also, the web-contents nursing education program is needed in the practicum education curriculum to enhance nursing students' competencies in these areas.

As the digital technologies and internet have advanced, data have centered in the process of meaningful scientific ramifications and policy making in a wide variety of fields. Data curator in charge of managing data plays a significant role in terms of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of data management and re-uses. The purpose of this study is to identify the core competencies for data curator. For achieving the purpose of this study, two sets of data were collected. First, a total of 255 job descriptions were collected from the web sites including ARL, Digital Curation Exchange, Code4lib, ASIS&T JobLine for the period of 2011-2014. Second, in-depth interviews with five data curators from four diverse organizations were collected. The two sets of data were analyzed into seven categories identified from the related studies. Findings of this study showed that core competencies for data curator were identified into four categories, communication skills, data management techniques, knowledge and strategies for data management, and instructions and service provisions for users. The implications of this study can be considered as integrated and professional curriculum developments for data curator with core competencies.

Our study illustrates how the use of web materials written with Mathview affects vocational high school students' learning in terms of formative evaluation. Our first attempt to develop high school math with Mathview has been guided according to current math texts due to highly structured format of math contents and low learning competencies of vocational high school students. The 6 female students who participated for about 12 hours in this study revealed their responses through interview data. descriptive surveys and field notes. Contrary to the original expectation. the results of data analysis showed that the students seem to prefer using conventional learning methods even though they were motivated by powerful graphical display of Mathview and algebraic manipulation capability. Purpose: With the advent of the era of the 4th industrial revolution, called a new technological revolution, the necessity of fostering future talents equipped with AI utilization capabilities is emerging. However, there is a lack of research on AI education design and competency-based education curriculum as education for business major. The purpose of this study is to design AI education to cultivate competency-oriented AI literacy for business major in universities. Research design, data and methodology: For the design of AI basic education in business major, three expert Delphi surveys were conducted, and a demand analysis and specialization strategy were established, and the reliability of the derived design contents was verified by reflecting the results. Results: As a result, the main competencies for cultivating AI literacy were data literacy, AI understanding and utilization, and the main detailed areas derived from this were data structure understanding and processing, visualization, web scraping, web crawling, public data utilization, and concept of machine learning and application. Conclusions: The educational design content derived through this study is expected to help establish the direction of competency-centered AI education in the future and increase the necessity and value of AI education by utilizing it based on the major field.

Basically within a special regional area, a regional cluster seems to be based on core competencies of individual intra-cluster companies and collaboration among them. Information infrastructure has been emphasized as on one of competitive factors of a regional cluster, and it can be organized using collaboration system architecture integrated with each company's internal systems for efficient supply chain operation. As one of technical methods to prepare the system infrastructure supporting the collaboration of companies in a regional cluster, the Web Services can be effectively used. In this paper, a collaborative information system infrastructure for a regional cluster is suggested within the scope of supply chain management. And the efficiency of the proposed alternative is appraised with the features of a regional cluster.

In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, various universities' corporate field application education models are being presented. In particular, along with new teaching methods, various educational models for customized education of many companies are being studied, increasing their usability. Research on project-oriented teaching methods for competencies required in the field of business is the most developed field in recent years. In this study, we intend to propose a case-oriented curriculum model that applies the project-oriented teaching method to the requirements of these companies. In particular, we design an industry-oriented curriculum model through a companycustomized education model for blockchain and web developers, and suggest the direction of development focusing on examples of the operation process. The model through this case was designed and operated as a curriculum model suitable for the field through in-depth interviews with industries, etc.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of online information literacy instruction as liberal arts course offered at Sungkyunkwan university. For this purpose, Curriculum was designed in the way of interactive online tutorials. And the results of pre-and post-tests and the term-end student course evaluation data were analyzed. The results were as follows. Five basic information literacy competencies were improved through Online course. And the effect of Online instruction did show the statistical significance. but had a difference by department. Also, There appeared to be a relatively high level of Students' satisfaction with the curriculum. Therefore, this study revealed that online information literacy instruction as liberal arts course is a highly effective method for teaching information literacy to undergraduate students.
