영문 관광안내 홈페이지 웹호환성 평가 연구 (Evaluation analysis on compatibility of English homepage for tourist information)

  • The objective of this research is to evaluate the web standard as well as web compatibility of English homepage of tourist information manage local government. Thru this research, effective information and service can be provided to increasing foreign visitors and compatibility of English homepage can be strengthened. SortSite, a web compatibility measurement tool and UNICORN, a web standard measurement tool were utilized for this research. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Opera were targeted for evaluating web compatibility and observance rate of Markup grammar and CSS grammar was checked for evaluating web standard. Research result showed that 46.7% of Chrome version ${\leq}34$ and 35 didn't observe the web compatibility while 95.6%, 53.3%, 53.3%, 53.3% and 55.6% of Internet Explorer version in order of 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0 didn't observe the web compatibility. Concerning Firefox, 75.6% and 48.9% of version in order of ${\leq}6.0$ and 7.0 didn't observe the web compatibility and 37.8% of Opera version ${\leq}12.17$ and ${\leq}21$ didn't observe the web compatibility. Regarding the web standard, 80% of English homepage didn't observe Markup grammar and 60% of them didn't observe CSS grammar. Therefore, urgent improvement of web compatibility and web standard is required.

  • Today, Web Services is very well-known as a middle-ware that can inter-communicate between many different program languages. This paper test web services by implementing two different web services platforms which are MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client. Those platforms have different data structure/process, and they could not give the developer seamless data compatibility through web services. However we confirmed that handling data, by some data transforming rules, web services can successfully inter-communicate between MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client.

  • 인터넷의 폭발적인 발전으로 인터넷 기반 EDI의 구현이 활발해지고 있다. 인터넷 EDI는 EDI와 인터넷 기술의 장점을 결합한 기술로써 그 종류로는 FTP 기반의 EDI, SMTP/MINE 기반의 EDI, Web 기반의 EDI 등이 있다. 최근, 기존 VAN EDI의 높은 통신비용과 설치 및 유지보수비용 등의 한계를 극복하기 위해 Web EDI의 도입을 하고 있는 기업들이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 혁신특성과 거래 기업들 간의 관계를 나타내는 파트너쉽 특성 등이 Web EDI의 구현에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 국내 Web EDI를 사용하고 있는 기업들을 대상으로 실증연구를 하였다. 376명의 Web EDI 사용자에게 설문지를 발송했으나 실증분석에 사용된 유효한 설문지는 66부였다. 연구결과, 파트너쉽 요인 중 거래업체의 참여도와 상호의존도가 Web EDI 구현에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 혁신 요인 중 호환성, 상대적 이익, 비용절감이 Web EDI 구현에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • UDDI is the open standard for distributed Web-based registry standard which supports registrations and discoveries of Web services. Recently, UDDI version 3.0 specifications were opened by OASIS UDDI Spec, technical committee. UDDI version 3.0 supports many useful functions, which are not supported in version 2.0 specification, such as nested query, enhanced find qualifiers, digital signatures subscription, etc. Despite of its merits, complexity of the standard and backward-compatibility support makes it difficult to adopt this standard in real application domains. In this paper, we develop the Registry server which support UDDI version 3.0 standard. This server is based on common RDBMS and it supports all functions of UDDI version 3.0 including backward-compatibility with version 2.0 API, XML digital signature and URI- based key schemes.

Formal Models and Algorithms for XML Data Interoperability

  • In this paper, we study the data interoperability problem of web services in terms of XML schema compatibility. When Web Service A sends XML messages to Web Service B, A is interoperable with B if B can accept all messages from A. That is, the XML schema R for B to receive XML instances must be compatible with the XML schema S for A to send XML instances, Le., A is a subschema of B. We propose a formal model called Schema Automaton (SA) to model W3C XML Schema (XSD) and develop several algorithms to perform different XML schema computations. The computations include schema minimization, schema equivalence testing, subschema testing, and subschema extraction. We have conducted experiments on an e-commerce standard XSD called xCBL to demonstrate the practicality of our algorithms. One experiment has refuted the claim that the xCBL 3.5 XSD is backward compatible with the xCBL 3.0 XSD. Another experiment has shown that the xCBL XSDs can be effectively trimmed into small subschemas for specific applications, which has significantly reduced the schema processing time.

  • 인터넷의 사용이 증가하면서 웹을 통해 정보를 표현하고 제공하는 수단으로서 차트의 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 차트는 데이터를 시각적으로 표현하므로 정보의 전달력이 높은 반면 차트 작성 프로그램 간의 호환성, 차트 데이터 공유의 어려움, 웹상에서 차트 출력의 문제점 등을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차트 표현의 호환성과 차트 정보의 공유 문제를 해결하기 위해 XML을 활용하여 차트 정보를 표현하는 마크업 언어인 CML(Chart Markup Language)을 제안한다. CML은 웹 표준인 XML을 기반으로 하므로 프로그램 및 플랫폼 간의 호환성을 제공뿐만 아니라 차트 데이터의 공유가 가능하다.

  • Among interactive dynamic geometry softwares, Cinderella has some merits on the accuracy of algorithms and compatibility with internet. In this paper we compare dynamic geometry softwares such as GSP, Cabri II, Cinderella briefly and we design a web based interactive learning materials using the exercise editor of Cinderella and some Java applets, and we propose a web based interactive teaching and learning model in which achievement test can be given by the clickings on the help icon.

  • The web server for the embedded Linux system(ELS), unlike the ones for the usual Linux or Windows, has some disadvantages such as small number of installable applications, low compatibility and limited extensibility. This fact raises some problems when data are transferred in real-time via the web server, which are mainly caused by a poor performance of the processor and small-sized memory. Conventional user interfaces adopted for the usual web servers are unsuitable for the ELS because they are platform-limited and their installations are done by the form of plug-ins. If the web server for the ELS has an Ajax engine that can be utilized without any installation procedure, the advantages of usability, accessibility and quick response time can be obtained. This paper presents the Ajax interface for the ELS web server. The efficiency of the proposed technology in the real-time remote monitoring is shown through an implementation.

  • Due to advances in information technology, even Engineering Simulations can now be performed in web-based JAVA through an integrated operating system called Virtual Machine and the use of byte code, which guarantees the compatibility of identical codes in every computing system and makes it suitable for web-based simulation system development. This paper introduces an implementation embodied in JAVA Applet that allows a block-diagram type GUI that runs in a web browser for use in the dynamics simulation modeling of powertrains of vehicles and multi-body systems. This system is not restrained by any of the H/W and S/W in the user's computer, so that it has the advantage of providing a GUI that allows web-based block-diagram type modeling.

  • DAML-S/OWL-S, WSMF 및 BPEL4WS와 같은 웹 서비스 기술방식은 웹 서비스의 기능적(functionality) 측면만을 표현하고 있기 때문에, 웹 서비스(Web Service)의 개념적, 의미적 기능을 표현하기에는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹 서비스의 기능적 측면과 의미적 측면을 통합적으로 표현하기 위해서 수행 온톨로지(Competence Ontology)를 구축하여 웹 서비스를 기술하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 또한 시스템 내부적으로는 Data Mediator(D-Mediator)와 Control Mediator(C-Mediator)를 이용하여 서로 이질적인 서비스간의 상호연동 및 합성을 가능하게 한다.
