  • Internet becomes absolutely necessary tools due to rapid progress of information technology. Educational correspondence about an age of information demand is focused on a learner and remote education based on information technology WBI(Web Based Instruction) is a formation that remotly educate a learner using web, possible mutual reaction between instructor and learner, submit various studying material, has a good point to overcome spatial restriction. Internal and external standardization working is accelerated and recently XML security studies are activated using XML which is next generation web standard document format. In this paper, we propose multi-Certification of agent system using XML digital signature to satisfy security requirement.

  • This paper deals with the study of distributed design system and the implementation of JAVA based initial design system using CORBA/sup [1-3]/. In the state of initial design, designer should consider other information related to a design part. In this case, designer has a difficult problem to search and calculate distributed data. We propose a special connector named ‘Allocator’and implement an initial design system AIDS(Agent based Initial Design system). AIDS can help designer search and calculate the distributed information. In this study, JAVA and CORBA were chosen for handling network and distribute programming. AIDS focuses on the possibility of incremental concurrent design capability. AIDS is comported of Request-Agent, Calculator-Agent, View-Agent, Search-Agent, and ‘Allocator’. The proposed system can be used for designing initial design of a gripper in the web regardless of operating system.

  • With the proliferation of E-Commerce, product informations and services are provided to customers diversely. Thus customers want a software agent that can retrieve and recommend goods satisfying various purchase conditions as well as price. In this paper, we present a MAS (multi-agent system) for book information retrieval and recommendation in E-Commerce. User's preference is reflected in the MAS using the profile which is taken by user. The proposed MAS is composed of individual agents that support information retrieval, information recommendation, user interface, and web robots and a coordination agent which performs information sharing and job management between individual agents. Our goal is to design and implement this multi-agent system on a Windows NT server. Owing to the workflow management of the coordination agent, we can remove redundant information retrievals of web robots. From the results, we could provide customers various purchase conditions for several online bookstores in real-time.

  • A mobile agent system that searches for meaningful information from web XML documents is developed. For this, a domain information was conceptualized and a universal DTD generator is developed. A mobile agent with the universal DTD is dispatched to remote sites, extracts meaning information, and transmits the information back to a host. This way of information filtering is able to enhance the quality of information and reduce the network transmission overhead.

  • 본 논문은 다중 이동 에이전트 시스템을 이용한 웹 지리 정보 시스템 모델을 제안한다. 방대한 지리 정보를 분산 병렬처리하기 위해서 호스트간을 이주하고 네트워크 환경에서 효율적으로 수행하는 이동 에이전트를 사용한다. 제안하는 모델은 사용자와 상호작용하고 에이전트를 생성하여 이주시키며 웹 브라우저에 플러그 인 되는 HAP(home agent platform)과 GIS 서버에서 지리객체를 검색하는 iMAP(internet mobile agent)으로 구성된다. 성능 평가는 클라이언트/서버 모델과 이동 에이전트 모델간의 성능 비교를 통해서 보여준다.

  • Snoop was suitably designed for wired and wireless network as having snoop agent module in BS(Base Station) which is connecting to both wired and wireless network in order to supplement the problems of TCP. This study examined performance difference by using the web traffic taken wide possession in current internet traffic. The web traffic has greater amount of traffic, shorter life time, and smaller size than other traffics. This study found that snoop producing performance improvement of wireless network in the network mixed with the wired and wireless lead performance loss when transmitting web traffic. This study found that in case of web traffic is transmitted it bring a performance improvement of web traffic as computing BWE((Bandwidth Expansion), and also found that this study prove of performance improvement by decreasing local retranmission.

Classification of Shopping Information Services on the Web in Korea (국내의 웹 상의 쇼핑 정보 서비스 분류)

  • In this paper, we review and classify shopping information services for electronic commerce in Korea. Shopping information services for electronic commerce can be divided into shopping mall information service and product information service. Shopping mall information service simply shows and suggests information on the shopping malls that it has in its data store. But product information service provides information about the items of the shopping malls the service has and therefore gives more powerful and convenient interfaces to users. Cutting-edge product information services can perform online comparison shopping facility, which searches and compares the items what the users want on the reasonable basis of economical criteria, such as price. Books, CDs, and Personal Data Assistant(PDA)s are the products of which the specification is clear enough to be described on the Web. And the comparison of the products by the information service is performed on the basis of "price" of the product item. The approach to design and implement product information service can be divided into two categories. The one is an application of data warehousing mechanism, which stores the product information on the regular basis of time and provide it when the users query over the Web-database gateway. The other approach is a shopping agent mechanism, which stores information on "how to shop" and the shopping agent collects the information of product items just after users query about the product and provide the information in real time or notify them by alerting service. Thirty nine shopping information services are compared and classified in this paper and they are extracted from "Naver" and "Yahoo! Korea". The final result shows that most services are just a simple shopping mall information service in growing stage, product information services with data warehousing are lack in product ontology in middle stage, and that product information services with shopping agent are in early stage.

  • Recently various new model of teaching-learning as web based education system has been proposed. The demand for the customized courseware which is required from the learners is increased, the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. But many education systems that had been studied recently did not service fluently the courses which learners had been wanting and could not provide the way for the learners to study the teaming weakness which is observed in the continuous feedback of the course. In this paper we propose a multi-agent system for course scheduling of learner-oriented using weakness analysis algorithm. First proposed system analyze learner's result of evaluation and calculates teaming accomplishment. From this accomplishment the multi-agent schedules the suitable course for the learner The learner achieves an active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course.

  • Since the existed Korean Web IR systems generally use boolean system, it is difficult to retrieve the information to be wanted at one time. Also, because of the feature that web documents have the frequent abbreviation and many links, the keyword extraction using the inverted document frequency extracts the improper keywords for adding ambiguous meaning problem. Therefore, users must repeat the modification of the queries until they get the proper information. In this paper, we design and implement the relevance feedback agent system for resolving the above problems. The relevance feedback agent system extracts the proper information in response to user's preferred keywords and stores these keywords in preference DB table. When users retrieve this information later, the relevance feedback agent system will search it adding relevant keywords to user's queries. As a result of this method, the system can reduce the number of modification of user's queries and improve the efficiency of the IR system.
