국내 의료기관의 규모별 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 현황에 관한 연구 (A Study On Web Contents Accessibility of Hospital Web Sites in Korea)

  • In this study, we investigated web contents accessibility of 60 hospital web sites in Korea. The eight evaluation criteria were used for estimating the web contents accessibility of the web sites. These criteria were as follows: providing an alternative text, providing caption for moving picture, providing a skip navigation, usage of pop-up windows, usage of a summary or a caption tag for data table, providing a page title, providing a label for online form, and usage of java scripts. K-WAH 3.0 was used for estimating five evaluation criteria. According to Internet web contents accessibility guideline 1.0, we estimated the rest three evaluation criteria manually and described good or bad examples for the evaluation results technically. The results show that the web accessibility of hospital web sites is generally insufficient and the constant interests in improvement for accessibility are urgently needed.

User Centric Content Management System for Open IPTV Over SNS

  • Coupled schemes between service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 have recently been researched. Web-based content providers and telecommunications company (Telecom) based Internet protocol television (IPTV) providers have struggled against each other to accommodate more three-screen service subscribers. Since the advent of Web 2.0, more abundant reproduced content can be circulated. However, because according to increasing device's resolution and content formats IPTV providers transcode content in advance, network bandwidth, storage and operation costs for content management systems (CMSs) are wasted. In this paper, we present a user centric CMS for open IPTV, which integrates SOA and Web 2.0. Considering content popularity based on a Zipf-like distribution to solve these problems, we analyze the performance between the user centric CMS and the conventional Web syndication system for normalized costs. Based on the user centric CMS, we implement a social Web TV with device-aware function, which can aggregate, transcode, and deploy content over social networking service independently.

  • In this study, based on the current curriculum of consumer education in high school with the advent of Web 2.0 age, I analyzed both the curriculum used by new information tools related with Web 2.0 age and the one used by traditional tools to find out the degree of necessity of consumer education for the high school students in proportion to the level of their informational ability. First, compared with the education of food, clothes and shelter in the curriculum of manual training and domestic science, the necessity, importance, and availability were low and the students had a lower level of interest than they had with the three factors mentioned above. Second, after dividing the sector of consumer education in the curriculum into three fields such as reasonable purchase and use, solution and prevention of consumer problems and forming a new consumer trend, I looked into the necessity of the teaching method using conventional tools and the one using new informational tools following Web 2.0 age respectively. Traditional tools were favored for the education of consumption-related laws and policies, consumers' rights for the general cause of consumer problem solving and preventing. For the generation of the new comsumer trend, the new information tools were preferred in the appreciation of consuming culture and the issues of consuming environment. Third, it was revealed that students' level of informational ethics was the highest at 5.55 while their level of information creation and processing was the lowest at 3.96 from the research of six categories of their informational ability.

  • 지금까지 Web of Science의 core collection에 나타난 인삼 관련 연구논문의 수를 분석하였다. 인삼논문이 처음 나타난 1905년부터 2019년까지 전세계에서 총 8,090편의 SCI(E) 논문이 출판된 것으로 나타났다. 그중 최근 24년, 즉, 1996년부터 2019년까지의 논문이 7,385편이었다. 1980년 18편에 불과했던 인삼 논문이 1990년에는 53편, 2000년에는 97편, 2010년에는 369편, 2019년에는 678편으로 비약적으로 증가하였다. Web of Science의 core collection에 수재된 전체 학술논문에서 인삼 논문이 차지하는 비중도 1970년 0.0008%, 1980년 0.0044%, 1990년 0.101%, 2000년 0.0141%에서 2019년에는 0.0422%로 비약적으로 증가하였다. 지난 24년간 출판된 인삼 연구논문 중 원보(노트 포함)는 7,099편, 리뷰는 286편이었다. 총 78개국 3,286개 기관에서 연구가 이루어졌으며, 1,274개 학술잡지에 논문이 수재되었다. 전체 논문 중 중국에서 연구된 논문이 40.3%로 가장 높았고, 대한민국에서 연구된 논문이 34.7%로 한국과 중국의 연구가 전체의 75%를 차지하였다. 그 다음은 미국(6.0%), 일본(4.1%), 캐나다(2.9%) 순이었다. 2013년까지는 한국에서 연구된 논문이 가장 많았으나 2014년부터 중국에서 연구된 논문의 수가 더 많아졌다. 지난 24년간 인삼은 전세계에서 가장 많이 연구된 약용식물로 인삼 다음으로는 차(6,499편), 마늘(3,641편), 은행(2,590편), 생강(1,945편) 순이었다.

웹 기반 시스템을 이용한 반정량적 식품섭취빈도 조사지의 적용 및 평가 (Application and Evaluation of Web-based Food Frequency Questionnaire for Korean Adolescents)

  • Objectives: We previously developed a dish-based semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for Korean adolescents and reported that it had reasonable reliability and validity. The objective of the current study was to construct a web-based dietary evaluation system applying the FFQ for Korean adolescents and examine its applicability in the context of reliability and validity. Methods: A web-based food frequency questionnaire system was designed using a comprehensive approach, incorporating not only dietary data survey but also up-to-date nutrition information and individualized eating behavior guidelines. A convenience sample of 50 boys and girls aged 12~18 years agreed to participate in the study and completed the FFQ twice and 3 days of dietary recall on the developed website during a two-month period. The FFQ's reliability and validity was examined using correlation and cross classification analysis. We also measured participants' subjective levels of the web site's usability, visual effect, understanding, and familiarity. Results: Spearman correlation coefficients for reliability ranged from 0.74 (for vitamin A) to 0.94 (for energy). From cross-classification analyses, the proportion of subjects in the same intake quartile was highest for energy (82.0%) and lowest for vitamin A (56.0%). With regard to validity analysis, Spearman correlation coefficients ranged from 0.34 (for fiber) to 0.79 (for energy). The proportions of subjects in the opposite categories between the first FFQ and 3-day diet recall data were generally low from 0.00% (for fat) to 36.2% (for sodium). Average subjective levels of the website's usability, visual effect, understanding, and familiarity were all found to be over 4 points out of 5 points. Conclusions: The web-based dietary evaluation system developed can serve as a valid and attractive tool for administering FFQ to Korean adolescents.

  • 구글, 마이크로소프트, 야후 등의 대형업체들이 플랫폼을 기반으로 전 세계 위성사진과 지도 서비스를 선보이고 있는데 반해, 국내의 경우 뛰어난 지도 서비스들을 보유하고 있음에도 플랫폼으로 발전시키지는 못하여 경쟁에서 밀리고 있다. 웹을 통해 국토정보를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 다양한 원천자료와 소프트웨어를 통합해 줄 플랫폼이 필요한 현실에서, 차세대 유비쿼터스 웹 환경에서 공공 및 민간의 공간정보를 통합하여 맞춤형 국토정보의 활용을 극대화할 수 있는 기술로서 맞춤형 국토정보 플랫폼기술이 개발되고 있다. 스트리밍, 매쉬업, 검색의 크게 세 가지로 나뉘어 2D/3D Hybrid 스트리밍엔진, u-GIS 서비스 매쉬업엔진, 차세대 국토정보 검색엔진 등이 그것이다. 이에 맞춤형 국토정보 플랫폼기술의 효과적인 개발을 위해 관련 Geospatial Web 플랫폼기술이 구현되고 있는 기존의 제품 및 시장동향을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 목표시장중심 및 플랫폼의 기술 특성에 따라 맞춤형 국토정보 플랫폼기술개발전략을 모색하였다.

Sheet pile VL의 profile 개발과 냉각방법의 개선 (Develpment of Heavy Sheet Pile KWSP VL)

  • Sheet pil VL 제조에 있어서 핵심적인 중요 기술은 압연 중 진행 소재가 좌우 휨이 없이 직진토록하여 치입 상에 문제가 없어야 하는 것이며, 또 하나는 압연 완료후 냉각 중에 있는 제품의 bending량을 최소로 하여 roller 교정기에서 1차 교정으로 교정이 완료되게 하는 것이다. 압연중 소재가 직진토록 하기 위해서 web와 flange 등의 caliber 협상에서 balance가 유지되어야 하므로, web와 flange의 reduction을 1:1 vs 1.0으로 web의 압하가 flange에 비해 10%정도 크게 하였고, 좌우 flange의 reduction이 변화하지 않도록 flange 온도 보존을 위하여 intermediated에서 2 pass를 생략하여 약 40초의 rolling time을 단축시켰고, 이는 7$0^{\circ}C$정도의 온도 drop를 방지하는 효과를 나타내었다. 이로 인한 roll force는 약 15%정도 down 되었다. 논리상으로 A3 변태점 이하에서 web(두꺼운 부분 24.3mm)나 flange(얇은부분 9.5mm)가 동시에 압연이 완료된다면 bending량은 휠씬 줄어든 것이나, 이 경우 roll force 증가에 따른 roll 절손 사고의 위험과 설비 trouble이 우려되기 때문에 web 온도를 약 95$0^{\circ}C$에서 flange 온도를 83.$0^{\circ}C$에서 압연 완료토록 함으로써 설비 안전을 도모하였고, 1차 교정을 위하여 냉각 주수 설비를 설치하여 공냉시켰을 때의 1400mm에서 700mm로 bending량을 감소시킴으로써 이를 가능토록하였다.

영상미디어콘텐츠에 대한 실감 서비스 모델 (Actual Feeling Service Model for Video-Media Contents)

  • 최근 인터넷 사용자 사이에서 미디어콘텐츠에 대한 관심이 증대됨에 따라 웹상에는 방대한 양의 다양한 미디어콘텐츠가 유통되고 있다. 특히 이들 미디어콘텐츠 사이에서 인터넷 사용자들의 눈과 귀를 매료시키는 형태의 콘텐츠로서 영상미디어콘텐츠가 각광받고 있다. 또한 웹 2.0 시대에 발맞추어 인터넷 사용자들은 전문가들에 의해 제작된 콘텐츠를 수동적으로 받아들이기보다 적극적인 자세로 자신이 제작한 콘텐츠를 서로 개방하고 공유하는 새로운 형태의 유통 흐름을 창출하였다. 웹상에 유통되는 영상미디어콘텐츠는 전문가에 의해 만들어진 전문적인 콘텐츠도 있지만, 대부분 웹 2.0 시대의 핵심 이슈인 UCC(User Create Contents)의 형태로 제작된 비전문적인 콘텐츠가 주를 이룬다. 하지만 비전문가인 일반 인터넷 사용자들에 의해 제작된 콘텐츠는 촬영된 영상 정보만을 제공한다는 한계점을 가지고 있다. 웹 2.0 시대의 소비자로서의 인터넷 사용자를 만족시키기 위해서는 단순한 영상이 아니라 다양한 효과를 추가한 실감 있는 영상을 제공할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 단순 정보만으로 표현된 미디어 콘텐츠를 온톨로지 개념을 기반으로 주제와 의미를 파악하여 미디어콘텐츠에 적합한 실감을 제공할 수 있는 실감서비스모델(AF-VS : Actual Feeling Video Service)의 구성방법을 제시한다.

식품영양정보 제공 인터넷 사이트 평가 (Evaluation for Food and Nutrition Information Sites on the Internet)

  • This study was done to analyze the contents of food and nutrition information sites on the internet. In analysis, 276 web sites were used. Web sites from 3 internet search engines(Yahoo, Empas, Naver) were selected on the date of July 15th, 2004. The trained panels evaluated web sites' contents by the assessment tools using 3-point scale(2:strongly agree, 1:agree, 0:disagree). The contents classified by topics were functional foods(46.4%), cuisine and cooking(38.4%), food sanitation and safety(30.4%) and so on. Operators of web sites were individual(35.9%), company(30.4%) and public institution(33.7%). About 89.5% of web sites were operated for unspecified people. Contents of the web sites were well established especially in consistency in title and contents(1.6), scientific basis of explanations(1.2) and benefit of information(1.2) and so on while not well established in providing relevant sites(0.7), providing contact address and feed back mechanism(0.7) and so on. Web sites operated by public institutions are rated significantly higher than web sites operated by individual or company. In conclusion, in order to qualitatively improve food and nutrition information on the internet, continuing monitoring and evaluation are highly required and web sites operated by public institutions shall be developed further.

Online resources for information on shoulder arthroplasty: an assessment of quality and readability

  • Background: Many patients use online resources to educate themselves on surgical procedures and make well-informed healthcare decisions. The aim of our study was to evaluate the quality and readability of online resources exploring shoulder arthroplasty. Methods: An internet search pertaining to shoulder arthroplasty (partial, anatomic, and reverse) was conducted using the three most popular online search engines. The top 25 results generated from each term in each search engine were included. Webpages were excluded if they were duplicates, advertised by search engines, subpages of other pages, required payments or subscription, or were irrelevant to our scope. Webpages were classified into different source categories. Quality of information was assessed by HONcode certification, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) criteria, and DISCERN benchmark criteria. Webpage readability was assessed using the Flesch reading ease score (FRES). Results: Our final dataset included 125 web pages. Academic sources were the most common with 45 web pages (36.0%) followed by physician/private practice with 39 web pages (31.2%). The mean JAMA and DISCERN scores for all web pages were 1.96±1.31 and 51.4±10.7, respectively. The total mean FRES score was 44.0±11.0. Only nine web pages (7.2%) were HONcode certified. Websites specified for healthcare professionals had the highest JAMA and DISCERN scores with means of 2.92±0.90 and 57.96±8.91, respectively (P<0.001). HONcode-certified webpages had higher quality and readability scores than other web pages. Conclusions: Web-based patient resources for shoulder arthroplasty information did not show high-quality scores and easy readability. When presenting medical information, sources should maintain a balance between readability and quality and should seek HONcode certification as it helps establish the reliability and accessibility of the presented information.
