This paper proposes command signal generating method for a wearable robot using the force as the input signal. The basic concept of this system pursues the combination of the natural and sophisticated intelligence of human with the powerful motion capability of the robot. We define a task for the command signal generation to operate with the human body simultaneously, paying attention to comfort and ease of wear. In this study, we suggest a basic exoskeleton experimental system to evaluate a HRI(Human Robot Interface), selecting interfaces of arm braces on both wrists and a weight harness on the torso to connect the robot and human. We develop the HRI to provide a command for the robot motion. It connects between the human and the robot with the multi-axis load-cell, and it measures the relative force between the human and the robot. The control system calculates the trajectory of end-effector using this force signal. In this paper, we verify the performance of proposed system through the motion of elbow E/F(Extension/Flexion), the shoulder E/F and the shoulder Ab/Ad (Abduction/Adduction).

Various studies to improve the physical abilities of the human have been steadily continued from the past to the present. Only recently such technology has been realized, and those are expected to replace or complement human beings in large part. In this paper, the current status of developed wearable robots is investigated and studies were conducted in order to apply the types of robots in industry spot. In order to apply wearable exoskeleton robot to industry which enhances human physical capability, driving range of the robot's degrees of freedom were selected by analyzing working motion, and augmentative exoskeleton structure design process is presented by analyzing require torque and power during selected working motion. At the end of this paper, the designed mock-up is introduced to validate the feasibility of designed robot.
This study proposes a design process for an upper limb assistive wearable soft robot that will enable the development of a clothing product for an upper limb assistive soft robot. A soft robot made of a flexible and soft material that compensates for the shortcomings of existing upper limb muscle strength assistive devices is being developed. Consequently, a clothing process of the upper limb assistive soft robot is required to increase the possibility of wearing such a device. The design process of the upper limb auxiliary soft robot is presented as follows. User analysis and required performance deduction-Soft robot design-upper limb assistive wearable soft robot prototype design and production-evaluation. After designing the clothing according to the design process, the design was revised and supplemented repeatedly according to the results of the clothing evaluation. In the post-production evaluation stage, the first and second prototypes were attached to actual subjects, and the second prototype showed better results. The developed soft robot evaluated if the functionality as a clothing function and the functionality as the utility of the device were harmonized. The convergence study utilized a process of reducing friction conducted through an understanding and cooperation between research fields. The results of this study can be used as basic data to establish the direction of prototype development in fusion research.

This paper is a study on the design and implementation of a rehabilitation wearable robotic hand that reduces weight and volume by using a 3D printer and a motor. Rehabilitation wearable robots are important not only for the effect of rehabilitation but also for ease of use. However, most of the currently researched and developed rehabilitation exoskeleton robots are heavy in volume and weight, or they have to be used in place. Therefore, a wearable robot that is easy to wear and does not burden the user is required, so a lightweight electric rehabilitation wearable robot hand is proposed. A 3D printer was used to reduce the weight and volume and to make it easier to wear. In addition, to increase portability, the structure was simplified by adopting an electric method rather than a pneumatic method. Finally, the effectiveness was examined through the experiment of the lightweight electric rehabilitation wearable robot hand.
In this paper, we evaluate structural integrity of the wearable robot by using finite element analysis, which is made of CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) composite materials to be lightened. On the basis of the ASTM(American Standard Test Method), mechanical tests of the material are carried out in tensile, compressive and shear test for analytical evaluation. With the tested composite material, the main frame and two femoral frames of the robot is redesigned to satisfy the lightening design requirements. It is verified with the structural analysis that the redesigned frames are good for the part of the wearable robot.

In this paper, we propose a methodology for classifying types of lower limb disability and their mechanical structure, based on extensive survey of previous developments. We also propose a task-oriented design with human-friendly and energy-efficient assistive system. The result can be used for optimal design of wearable walking-assistive robot considering the type of disability and the content of task.
Intelligent Wearable Module is intelligent system that arises when a human is part of the feedback loop of a computational process like a certain control system. Applied system is mobile robot. This paper represents the mobile robot control system remote controlled by Intelligent Wearable Module. So far, owing to the development of 802.l1b technologies, lots of remote control methods through internet have been proposed. To control a mobile robot through internet and guide it under unknown environment. The information about the direction and velocity of the mobile robot feedbacks to the PDA and the PDA send new control method produced from the combination of Neuro and Hierarchical Fuzzy Algorithm
