  • In this paper, we propose stable walking algorithm using ZMP for the biped robot in the slope-way. At first, we define discrete state variables that classified stable area and unstable area by center of mass from ZMP during slope-way walking. For the stable walking gait, the discrete state controller for determining the high-level and low-level decision making are designed. The high-level decision making is composed of the discrete state variables; left foot support phase, right foot support phase, flat-way, and slope-way. Then the continuous state controller is implemented for the low-level decision making using ZMP.

  • This paper presents the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) to evaluate water resources plan for agricultural reservoir. Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluations (PROMETHEE) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to estimate weight and priority of alternatives to find out the most reasonable and efficient way of water resources assessment. The 6 criteria that both decision maker and beneficiary are satisfied have been identified to secure agricultural water resources and then the priority of 10 subcriteria was set. An enhanced PROMETHEE-AHP model was used to perform pairwise comparison and find out the priority of each alternative because the existing decision making model have uncertainty and ambiguity. Comparison analysis of decision making models was carried out to find a way of suitable decision making and validity of PROMETHEE-AHP model was suggested.

  • The paper describes a way to diagnose machine condition based on the expert system. In this paper, an expert system-decision tree is built and experimented to diagnose and to detect machine defects. The main objective of this study is to provide a simple way to monitor machine status by synthesizing the knowledge and experiences on the diagnostic case histories of the rotating machinery. A traditional decision tree has been constructed using vibration-based inputs. Some case studies are provided to illustrate the application and advantages of the decision tree system for machine fault diagnosis.

  • The objective of this study focuses on impacts of stress affecting CRM skills. According to KMOCT Report(1990-1999), aviation accident results in Korea imply that the crew is the primary cause in over 72.7% of accidents. So, CRM continues to receive increasing attention throughout the aviation community to prevent and decrease accidents caused by human factors. In addtion, developing and implementing CRM skills has been a formal part of aviation training. Stress may have a critical impact on the way a pilot assesses decision information, the way they make a decision, and the way they carry that decision through to completion.

  • 본 연구는 일반인들이 화재, 지진, 폭발 등 재난에 직면했을 때의 실내 피난 경로 선택에 대한 특성을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 조사결과, 화재, 재난 발생 시 나타나는 다수의 피난 행동 특성을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • Ship Pilotage is one of the most important parts in the construction and development of Shanghai International Shipping Center as it has the fundamental function for the promotion and speed-up of the ship navigation and cargo operation. Recently, Shanghai Maritime University and Shanghai Harbour Pilotage Administration Station had carried out a research project of 'Study on Ship Safety Pilotage in the Shanghai Harbour by Way of FSA (Formal Safety Assessment)'. The aim of this project is to put out some proposes of the decision-making for the improvement of the safety pilotage in Shanghai habour through the way of the FSA. Now these proposes of the decision-making have been adopted and conducted in practice and satisfactory results have been achieved. In the paper, some detailed information, methods and ideas about this research project have been introduced and explained for improving the safety pilotage in Shanghai Harbour.

치기공과 학생의 전공선택확신과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 전문직업성의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Professionalism on the Relationship between Major Selection Conviction and Career Decision Level of Dental Technology Students)

  • Purpose: The following study analyzes the mediating effects of professionalism on the relationship between major selection conviction and career decision level of dental technology students. It is to be used as basic data for improvement of the students' career decision level and an effective way to train professionals of the colleges. Methods: The survey was conducted on dental technology students. The collected data was analyzed by the statistical program SPSS 18.0. The results were analyzed by reliability, frequency, multiple-way ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression. To test for significance on each item, p<0.05 has been decided as a standard. Results: The analysis shows that the students' age and clinical practice experience bring a significant difference in major selection conviction, career decision level and professionalism. Professionalism has been found to bring significance mediating effects in relation to major selection conviction and career decision level. Conclusion: To improve the quality and pride as a professional as well as satisfaction with major selection can be expected to raise the standard of the students' career decision level.

  • A study on the flow-structure characteristics of marine 3/2WAY pneumatic valve is essential for optimizing the performance of ship engines. It is important that the valve has desirable safety factor and reduced weight from safety and economic point of view. In this paper, flow-structure characteristics of pneumatic valve is obtained by being optimized based on the proper design criteria. The air with the pressure of 30 bar is the working fluid which is made to fill in the tack in short time. This time is defined as the filling time. On optimum design by considering the flow-structure characteristics, the approach is based on (1) the mathematical formulation of design decisions using the compromise decision-making method, and (2) the approximation technique of response surfaces. The methodology is demonstrated as the multi-objective optimization tool to improve the performance of marine 3/2WAY pneumatic valve.

학습 평가를 위한 최적의 SPRT 판정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Judgement of Optimal SPRT for Learning Estimation)

  • 컴퓨터 기반 교육의 잠재적인 이점은 개별화 교습이다. 결국 수준별 교육과정의 운영과 열린 교육의 실천을 위하여 어떻게 학습자 개개인에 대해서 신속하고 정확하게 평가할 수 있는가에 대한 문제가 제기된다. 본 연구에서는 평가를 위한 문항 수가 두드러지게 감소하면서 반면에 합격과 불합격 판정이 비교적 정확한 기존의 SPRT(Sequential Probability Ratio Testing) 판정 방법에 대한 문제점을 보완하여 보다 최적의 판정을 내릴 수 있는 방안을 시뮬레이션 연구를 통하여 제안한다. 이를 위하여 실제 측정에 의해서 얻어진 피험자 자료를 활용하여 SPRT판정의 정확도 검증을 위한 시뮬레이션과 최적의 SPRT판정을 위한 초기 설정치와 다단계 (Multilevel) SPRT 모형 및 판정 기준을 제시하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성을 알아본다.

AHP 가중치 결정에서의 다수 전문가 의견종합 방법 (Priority Aggregation for AHP Based on Experts Opinions)

  • The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is widely used for evaluation of large projects. If a group of experts with different expertise are involved in a AHP decision, they need some way to aggregate their opinions. In this paper, we suggest a way to aggregate the experts' priorities in a given hierarchy using the concept of the Bayesian decision analysis. A criterion that can be used for screening out unreliable data is introduced, and it is used for priority aggregation. Some numerical results are shown to illustrate the procedure.
