펌프용 소형 BLDC 모터의 원가절감을 고려한 회전자 최적화 설계 (Optimized Design of Rotor Considering Cost-Reduction of Small BLDC Motor for the Water Pump)

  • In the present study, a BLDC motor for a pump in which a neodymium PM is replaced with a Ferrite PM has been developed in preparation for the cost increase and to ensure the stability of the resource supply. One of the currently used motors for pumps is a BLDC motor having an interior PM wherein a rare-earth PM is adopted. However, a BLDC motor for a pump is designed to have large airgap because of the use of a waterproof insulator according to its structural characteristics, and therefore, a SPM structure is suitable. Hence, an SPM BLDC motor in which a Ferrite PM is used is designed. Nevertheless, the use of Ferrite instead of rare-earth materials causes a deterioration in the performance of the electric motor, such as a decrease in the BEMF and the maximum power of the motor and the irreversible demagnetization of the PM. In order to mitigate such disadvantages, an optimized design of the BLDC motor is developed by changing each design parameter and by improving the electromagnetism structure.

저가 수중 무인 이동체 개발 및 운동성능 검증 (Development of a Low-cost Unmanned Underwater Vehicle and Performance Verification)

  • In this paper, a high performance underwater vehicle which can be manufactured at low cost is designed and fabricated, and its performance is verified through experiments. To improve efficiency, the Myring equation is used to design the appearance and the duct structure including the thruster is planned to increase the propulsion efficiency while reducing the drag force. Through various methods, it is secured stable waterproof performance, and also is devised to have high speed movement and turning performance. The developed underwater vehicle is equipped with a high output BLDC motor to achieve a linear speed of up to 2 m/s and can change direction rapidly with stability through four rudders. The rudders are driven by coupling a timing belt and a pulley by extending the axis of a servo motor, and are equipped at the end of the body to turn heading. In addition, for stable posture control, the roll keeps its internal center of gravity low and maintains its stability due to restoring force. By controlling the four rudders, pitch and yaw are handled by the PID controller and show stable performance. To investigate the horizontal turning performance, it is confirmed that the yaw rate controller is designed and stable yaw rate control is performed.

전기모터 기반의 해중 매니퓰레이터 개발 (Development of Underwater Manipulator Driven by Electric Motor)

  • 해저에서 20kg 이상 작업물의 이송을 포함하는 다양한 작업을 수행할 수 있는 전기 모터 기반의 새로운 5자유도 고성능 수중 매니퓰레이터의 개발에 관해 연구하였다. ROV나 AUV에 적용하여 이들의 이동을 원활하게 하고 소형경량임에도 고가반하중의 성능을 갖는 25kg의 경량 구조로 설계하였다. 매니퓰레이터의 관절구동기는 방수를 위한 새로운 2중 오일자켓 구조를 갖는 모듈로 설계하고 제작하였다. 또한, 개발한 관절구동시스템의 우수한 토크성능을 실험을 통하여 검증하였다. 그리고 이를 적용한 소형 5자유도 고성능 수중 매니퓰레이터를 제작하였다.
