어항 및 항만개발의 친수공간 조성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Composition of Water-Friendly Space in Port and Harbour Development)

  • The composition of water-friendly space in the port and harbour developments provides the accessibility to the sea and thus resting & recreational function of the local citizen, which should be treated importantly for the eco-friendly coastal development. However, the high demand on water-friendly space can induce another environmental problem because most port and harbour developments require marine reclamation and the water-friendly space are made up on the reclamation area. The present study analysed the problems and suggested matters to be considered in composing the water-friendly space of port and harbour developments. The study also established the management direction by site characteristics of port and harbour. In addition, we attempt to find a plan to avoid the water-friendly space composition with environmental damage and to secure the environmental and public soundness in site selection, land use and facilities plan based on case studies.

  • 친수지구는 주민들의 친수활동을 위한 공간을 계획적으로 관리하기 위하여 지정한 곳을 의미하며, 하천 친수공원의 효율적인 관리를 위해서는 친수시설의 GIS 자료 및 DB구축의 자동화 작업이 필요하다. 이에 대한 대안으로 드론영상이나 항공영상을 활용한 객체기반 분류 방법이 국토의 3차원 공간정보를 획득할 수 있는 효율적 수단으로 주목받고 있다. 추출된 윤곽선에 포함된 잡영을 제거하기 위해서는 윤곽선의 선형 평활화 작업이 필요하며 수동으로 적용하기에는 많은 어려움이 따르므로 이를 극복하기 위한 여러가지 자동화 방법들이 개발되었고, 그 중 현재까지 가장 널리 연구되고 활용되어지고 있는 방법은 선형 평활화 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 친수시설의 기하학적 형상에 대하여 선형 평활화 알고리즘인 Douglas-Peucker, Visvalingam-Whyatt, Bend-simplify 알고리즘에 대한 적합성을 판단하였다.

살균에 박리 및 분산 기능이 추가된 친환경살균제에 대한 역삼투(RO)막에서의 효과 검증 연구 (Evaulation of Developing New-Fusion Eco-Friendly Biocide on the Reverse Osmosis Membranes)

  • 살균기능에 박리와 탈리기능 추가된 비유독물인 친환경살균제를 역삼투(RO)막 부착된 유기물 등 오염물질 제거를 위하여 현장 적용시 역삼투막 차압증가 도달시간을 기준 적용시 평균 93.0%의 개선효율을 보였다, 또한 친환경살균제를 사용한 역삼투막을 Autopsy한 결과, 무기 및 유기오염의 비율이 기존살균제에 비하여 친환경살균제를 사용한 역삼투막이 유기오염의 비율이 적은 것으로 조사됨에 따라 친환경살균제의 바이오필름 제거(분산, 박리) 및 살균력이 기존 약품보다 우수한 것으로 확인되었다.

산업단지내 친수시설 대안의 비교 (Comparison of Alternatives of Water-Friendly Facilities in an Industrial Complex)

  • 산업단지나 아파트 단지 내에 수로나 연못을 이용한 친수공간의 시설이 일반화 되어가고 있다. 단지내 친수공간의 계획에서는 시설의 종류, 배치, 수원, 수질 물 순환계획 등을 검토하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 지방산업단지 내에 친수공간을 계획하는데 몇 가지 대안을 설정하고 이러한 검토항목에 대하여 비교 검토하여 가장 합리적인 대안을 선정하였다. 본 단지 내의 친수시설은 단지의 중앙부를 가로지르는 수로를 기본으로 하여 공원과 분수연못을 배치하는 것으로 하였다. 수원은 단지 옆을 흐르는 강, 단지 상류의 저수지, 단지 내 지하수 및 상수도를 고려할 수 있으며, 각각에 대하여 수량, 수질, 물 순환 방식, 인허가, 유지관리 등을 비교하였다. 친수시설은 돌과 자갈 등의 자연재료를 이용하여야 한다. 사람이 유량감을 느끼기 위하여 수로내의 평균수심은 10 cm, 평균유속은 0.15 m/s 정도로 한다. 여러 대안의 비교 검토한 결과, 강과 저수지는 사용허가와 수질관리가 어렵고 상수도는 물값이 비싸기 때문에 지하수를 사용하고, 상하류부에 저수조를 설치하고 펌프로 순환시키는 시스템이 가장 적합한 것으로 조사되었다.

도시하천의 환경특성과 친자연적 계획전략 - 춘천시 공지천을 대상으로 - (Environmental Characteristics and Nature-friendly Planning Strategies for an Urban Stream - The Case of Chuncheon's Gongji Stream -)

  • This study analyzed characteristics of natural and human environments in Chuncheon's Gongji stream, and suggested nature-friendly planning strategies for self-purification of water quality, biodiversity improvement and conservative waterfront recreation. The environmental analysis included streambed structures, floodplain soils, water quality, vegetation, wildlife, and human facilities. Natural colonization of vegetation for the middle section of the study stream was obstructed by a straightened concrete revetment of baseflow channel, and vehicle movement and concrete parking lots across the floodplain. These human disturbances also deteriorated the naturalness of the stream landscape and limited habitation of bird species. However, natural sedimented wetlands in half of the channel width for the lower section of the stream contributed to a desirable vegetational landscape and greater bird occurrence. Based on BOD measurements, water quality of the stream fell under class $II{\sim}III$ of the stream water-quality standard, but it was worse around sewage outlets due to incomplete sewage collection especially during the dry season. Dominant fish species included typical inhabitants of good water-quality streams that are tolerant of adverse habitat changes. Nature-friendly planning strategies were established based on analysis of the environmental characteristics. They focused on not merely spatial zoning and layout divided into four zones - preservation, partial preservation, conservation and use -, but close-to-nature channel revetment techniques, natural water-purification facilities, biotope diversification, and water-friendly recreation and circulation. Strategies pursued both renewal of stream naturalness and hydraulic stability of streamflow by minimizing transformation of natural channel micro-topography and biotope, and by reflecting natural traces of streambed structures such as revetment scour and sedimentation.

E3(환경, 사용자, 경제) 친화형 제품 개발을 위한 디자인 아이디어 개발 및 평가 절차 (Design Ideation and Evaluation Process for E3(Ecology, Ergonomics, Economy)-Friendly Product Development)

  • Objective : The present study was intended to develop a design ideation and evaluation process for the development of ecology-, ergonomics-, and economy-friendly ($E^3$-friendly) products. Background : Due to increasing social and legal requirements on global sustainability, manufacturing companies have made more efforts ever than before for the development of eco-friendly products. However, most eco-friendly products are often criticized due to lacking ergonomic and/or economic considerations. Method : An $E^3$-friendly product development process consisting of (1) survey of eco-friendly products, (2) characterization of eco-friendly products, (3) design ideation for $E^3$-friendly product, and (4) design idea evaluation for $E^3$-friendliness was established and applied to the development of a novel product which supports drinking of daily recommended amount of water. Results : Fifty-five design characteristics were identified by a survey of forty eco-friendly products and incorporated into the proposed ideation and evaluation process. New ideas and design changes were developed effectively using the proposed development process for a novel $E^3$-friendly bottle for support of water drinking. Conclusion : The proposed process was found effective for the development of eco-friendly design ideas and improvements. Application : The proposed system would be of use to develop better design ideas having market competitiveness.

친환경 정비수로에 대한 주민 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Resident Satisfaction Level on the Environment Friendly Consolidation Canals)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the satisfaction level and to analyze the factors in the environment friendly consolidation canals. In this study, the survey consists of four parts, such as the actual status of environment friendly canals, satisfaction level for each items, overall satisfaction level and the personal features of the users. Total 128 samples out of 140 respondents were used for the final analysis. Analysis of the satisfaction level were fulfilled to survey results such as the basic statistics and the correlations of variables, in addition, dispersion analysis for two user groups were carried out. Function of canal, water quality, landscape, and convenience facilities were chosen as independent variables in the model. Residents in Yeoju area were satisfied with water quality, water quantity and the function of canal. And residents of Yeonggwang area were satisfied with the convenience facilities and the function of the newly consolidated canal.

주암댐 주변지역의 친환경농업 실태와 발전방안 (Developing Strategies of Environmental-Friendly Agriculture Around the Chuam Dam)

  • The objectives of this study are to find out, the fact-analysis of environmental friendly farm households around the Chuam Dam through the sample survey, 2) the developing strategies to improve the EPA on the assumption that is the conservation of Chuam Dam's water quality. The data used in this study comes from 75 sample farm households. The developing strategies to improve the EPA around Chuam Dam was found out that the efficiency measure of land utilization around CImam Dam, producing of high quality and safety agricultural products, promoting of the EPA connected with tourist agriculture, improving of the EPA products and supporting of price and income. In conclusion, there must be strategic measures to increase the income of environmental friendly farmers and to conserve the Chuam Dam's water quality.

An Experimental Analysis of the Impact of Green Water on Offshore Platforms with Green Water Protectors of Various Shapes

  • Green water impact occurs frequently on offshore platform due to waves with a height greater relative to the freeboard of the structure. This phenomenon exerts a large impact load on the deck. In this paper, offshore platform models with green water protectors of various shapes were fixed to the center of a 3D wave tank to measure the impact pressure acting on the various points on deck and protectors. The impact pressure distribution differed depending on the protector shape, and various patterns of wave creeping up the protector were observed. The protector shape that exerted the lowest pressure impact on the deck will be useful in the deck design of offshore platform, and the model test results will be expected to be used for designers to select the best protector form.

친환경 토양 관리 방법과 기준에 대한 평가 (Review of Management Methods and Criteria for Environmentally-Sound Soil)

  • The principle goal of environmentally-friendly agriculture is to maintain and conserve water and agriculture environment including drinking water resources by properly using agricultural materials such as agricultural chemicals, chemical fertilizers, and other agricultural materials according to act 19 of foster law of environmentally-friendly agriculture. To achieve these goals, we have to establish Integrated Nutrient Management(INM) and Integrated Pesticide Management(IPM) which are most important core technologies for environmentally-friendly rice cultivation. However, there are lack of criteria and technology for evaluation category according to soil management and its soil classes to practice an environmentally-friendly agriculture. Therefore, we should eatablish the standards to produce the safe agricultural products based on the soil physical and chemical characteristics which are basic properties of soil to accomplish the principle aims of environmentally-friendly agriculture.
