This paper reviews the recent development of electronic textile technology, mainly focusing on chip-textile bonding. Before the chip-textile bonding, a circuit on the textile should be prepared to supply the electrical power and signal to the chip mounted on the fabrics. Either embroidery with conductive yarn or screen-printing with the conductive paste can be applied to implement the circuit on the fabrics depending on the circuit density and resolution. Next, chip-textile bonding can be performed. There are two choices for chip-textile bonding: fixed connection methods such as soldering, ACF/NCA, embroidery, crimping, and secondly removable connection methods like a hook, magnet, zipper. Following the chip-textile bonding process, the chip on the textile is generally encapsulated using PDMS to ensure reliability like water-proof.
Objectives : Oryeong-san was composed of Alismatis Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, Poria Sclerotium, Polyporus, Cinnamomi Cortex, and known to have hundreds of chemical compounds. The aim of this study was to screen chemical compounds constituting Oryeong-san with the drug-likeness and oral bioavailability from the analysis of their physicochemical properties. Methods : A list of chemical compounds of Oryeong-san was obtained from TM-MC(database of medicinal materials and chemical compounds in Northeast Asian traditional medicine). To remove redundant compounds, the SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System) strings of each compound were identified. All of the physicochemical properties for the compounds were calculated using the DruLiTo(Drug Likeness Tool). Drug-likeness was estimated by QED(Quantitative Estimate of Druglikeness) and OB(Oral bioavailability) was checked based on the Veber's rules. Results : A total of 475 compounds were obtained by eliminating duplication among 544 compounds of 5 medicinal materials. Analysis of the physicochemical properties revealed that the most common values were MW(molecular weight) 200~300 g/mol, ALOGP(octanol-water partition coefficient) 1~2, HBA(number of hydrogen bond acceptors) 0~1, HBD(number of hydrogen bond donors) 0, PSA(polar surface area) 0~50 angstrom, ROTB(number of rotatable bonds) 1, AROM(number of aromatic rings) 0, and ALERT(number of structural alerts) 1. QED had 93% of the values between 0.2 and 0.7, and OB had 90% of the value of TRUE. Conclusions : We in this paper screened the candidate active compounds of Oryeong-san using the QED and Veber's rules. In the future, we will use the screening results to analyze the mechanism of Oryeong-san based on systems pharmacology.

The experiment was carried out to investigate the chemical properties of cement kiln dusts, abundantly produced from cement industry as a byproduct, and their effectiveness on rice yield. The field experiment was conducted on the acid paddy soil developed on basalt at Dongsong-Myon, Chulwon-Kun, Gangwon-Do. Two kinds of cement kiln dusts were used ; By Pass (BP) collected from the suspension preheater and Electric Precipitate (EP) from the cottrell electric precipitator. The levels of cement kiln dust applied were 100kg/10a, 200kg/10a and 300kg/10a, and the recommended variety "Nong Back" was adopted for this experiment. The results obtained are summarized as follows ; 1. The component of cement kiln dusts seems to be quite suitable for liming material. BP has 55% alkalinity, 41.7% of soluble calcium, 9.8% of soluble magnesium and 4.5% of water soluble silicate, while EP has 53.5% alkalinity, 41.7% soluble calcium, 8.3% soluble magnesium and 1% water soluble silicate. 2. The relative effectiveness of cement kiln dust in the soil will be superior due to very fine particle size. EP pass through completely 270 mesh screen, and 95% of BP pass through 150 mesh screen, 68% passing 270 mesh. 3. BP application at the rate of 100kg/10a increased 21% of rice yield as compared with control and EP 15%. It was observed that the affected yield components were increased panicle number per hill, grain number per panicle and 1,000 grains weight. 4. The application of optimum amount (100kg/10a) of cement kiln dusts accelerated the uptake of nutrients by rice plant and increased rice yield. However, the excess amounts (200kg/10a, 300kg/10a) of cement kiln dusts retarded the uptake of nutrients from soil.

An experimental work was conducted by using a laboratory-made model dryer to investigate the effect of the rate of natural forced-air on the drying rate of rough rice which was deposited in the deep-bed. The dryer consisted of 8 cylinderical containers with grain holding screen at their bottoms, each of which having 30cm in diameter and 15cm in height. The containers were sacked vertically with keeping them air-tight by using paper tape during dryer operation. Two separate layers of containers were operated in the same time to have two replications. The moisture contents of grains within each bins after predetermined period of dryer operation were determined indirectly by measuring the weight of the individual containers. The air-rates were maintained at 6 levels, or 5, 8, 10, 15, 18 and 20 millimenters of static head of water. The roomair conditions during dryer operation were maintained in the range of 10-l5$^{\circ}C$ in temperature and 40-60% in relative humidity. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1. Drying characteristics of the grains in the bottom layers were approximately the same regardless of airdelivery rates, giving the average drying rate as about 0.35 percent per hour after 40-hour drying period, during which moisture content (w. b.) reduced from 24 percent to about 10 percent. 2. After about 40-hour drying period, the mean drying rates increased from 0.163 percent per hour to 0.263 percent per hour as air-flow rates increased from 5mm to 87.16mm of static head of water. In the same time, the moisture differences of grains between lower and upper layers varied from 12.7 percent at the air rate of 5mm of water head to 7.5 percent at the air-flow rate of 20mn of water head. Thus, the greater the air-flow rate was, the more overall improvement in drying performance was. Additionally, from the result of ineffectiveness of drying grain positioned at 70cm depth or above by the air rate of 5mm of static head of water it may be suggested in practical application that the height of grain deposit would be maintained adequately within the limits of air-rates that may be actually delivered. 3. Drying after layer-turning operation was continued for about 30 hours to test the effectiveness of reducing moisture differences in the thick layers. As a result of this layer-turning operation, moisture distribution through layers approached to narrow ranges, giving the moisture range as about 7 percent at air-flow rate of 5mm head of water, about 3 percent at 10mm head about 2 percent at 15mm head, and less than 1 percent at 20mm head. In addition, from the desirable results that drying rate was rapid in the lower layers and dully in the upper layers, layer-turning operation may be very effective in natural air drying with deep-layer grain deposit, especially when the forced air was kept in low rate. 4. Even though the high rate of air delivery is very desirable for deep-layer natural-air drying of rough rice, it can be happened that the required air delivery rate could not be attained because of limitation of power source available on farms. To give a guide line for the practical application, the power required to perform the drying with the specified air rate was analyzed for different sizes of drying bin and is given in Table (5). If a farmer selects a motor of which size is 1 or {{{{1 { 1} over {2 } }}}} H.P. and air-delivery rate which ranges from 8~10mm of head, the diameter of grain bin may be suggested to choose about 2.4m, also power tiller or other moderate size of prime motor may be recommended when the diameter of grain bin is about 5.0m or more for about 120cm grain deposit.
Factor analysis technique was employed to screen the principal indicators influencing soil and water qualities in the intensively cultivated areas of the Han River Basin. Soil chemical parameters were analyzed for the soil samples collected at intensive farming area in Pyungchang-Gun, and water quality monitoring data were obtained from the agricultural small catchments of Han River Basin during 1996 and 1997. Among the $11{\times}11$ cross correlation matrix, 29 correlations were significant out of 55 soil quality indicator pairs. The overall Kaiser's measure of sampling adequacy(KMS) value was acceptable with 0.60. Most indicators except iron were acceptable. Among soil indicators, the first factors showing high factor loadings were pH, Ca and Mg. The factor loading was the highest for Ca. The second factor could be characterized as phosphate and micronutrient. The third factor was organic matter and EC, and the fourth factor was potassium and Fe. Out of 190 water quality indicators, 86 correlations were significant. Overall KMS value was 0.74, but the KMS values for pH, TSS, Cd, Cu and Fe were lower than 50. The first factor of EC accounts 27.1 percents of the total variance, and showed high factor loadings with Na, Ca, $SO_4$, Mg, K, Cl, $NO_3$, and T-N. The second factor showed high loadings with Zn, Fe, Mn and Cd. The third to seventh factors could be characterized as $PO_4$, TSS, inorganic nitrogen, pH and T-P, and Cu factors, respectively. The factor score for EC was the highest in Kuri, followed by Chunchon, Dunnae and Daegwanryng. The factor score for heavy metals were the highest in the Daegwanryng. The results demonstrated that the factor analysis could be useful to select the most principal factor influencing soil and water qualities in the agricultural watershed.
The application of appropriate rehabilitation methods can improve the efficiency of clogged wells and extend their life. In this paper, we study the feasibility of well cleaning using high-voltage pulsed discharge, in which electrical energy is used to produce impulsive pressure in water, in contrast to conventional methods that employ chemical or pneumatic energy sources. This technique utilizes the compressive shock wave generated by the expansive force of hot, dense plasma that is produced during a pulsed discharge in the gap between electrodes immersed in water. Compared with conventional techniques, this method is simple, and easy to handle and control. Using a capacitive pulsed power system with an electrical energy of 200 J, an impulsive pressure of 10.7 MPa is achieved at the position 6 cm away from the discharge gap. The amplitude of the impulsive pressure was easily controlled by adjusting the charging voltage of the capacitor and was almost linearly proportional to peak discharge current. The technique achieved good results in cleaning feasibility tests with mock-up specimens similar to clogged well screens.

Red-emitting $Eu^{3+}$-activated $(Y_{0.95-x}Al_x)VO_4$ (0 < x $\leq$ 0.12) nanophosphors with the particle size of ~30 nm and the high crystallinity have been successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal reaction. In the synthetic process, deionized water as a solvent and ethylene glycol as a capping agent were used. The crystalline phase, particle morphology, and the photoluminescence properties of the excitation spectrum, emission intensity, color coordinates and decay time, of the prepared $(Y_{0.95-x}Al_x)VO_4:Eu^{3+}$ nanophosphors were compared with those of the $YVO_4:Eu^{3+}$. Under 147 nm excitation, $(Y_{0.95-x}Al_x)VO_4$ nanophosphors showed strong red luminescence due to the $^5D_0-^7F_2$ transition of $Eu^{3+}$ at 619 nm. The luminescence intensity of $YVO_4:Eu^{3+}$ enhanced with partial substitution of $Al^{3+}$ for $Y^{3+}$ and the maximum emission intensity was accomplished at the $Al^{3+}$ content of 10 mol%. By the addition of $Al^{3+}$, decay time of the $(Y,Al)VO_4:Eu^{3+}$ nanophosphor was decreased in comparison with that of the $YVO_4:Eu^{3+}$ nanophosphor. Also, the substitution of $Al^{3+}$ for $Y^{3+}$ invited the improvement of color coordinates due to the increase of R/O ratio in emission intensity. For the formation of transparent layer, the red nanophosphors were fabricated to the paste with ethyl celluloses, anhydrous terpineol, ethanol and deionized water. By screen printing method, a transparent red phosphor layer was formed onto a glass substrate from the paste. The transparent red phosphor layer exhibited the red emission at 619 nm under 147 nm excitation and the transmittance of ~80% at 600 nm.

The objective of this study was to estimate LOADEST (LOAD Estimator) coefficients for simulating pollutant loads in ungauged watersheds. Regression models of LOADEST were used to simulate pollutant loads, and the multiple linear regression (MLR) was used for coefficients estimation on watershed characteristics. The fifth and third model of LOADEST were selected to simulate T-N (Total-Nitrogen) and T-P (Total-Phosphorous) loads, respectively. The results and statistics indicated that regression models based on LOADEST simulated pollutant loads reasonably and model coefficients were reliable. However, the results also indicated that LOADEST underestimated pollutant loads and had a bias. For this reason, simulated loads were corrected the bias by a quantile mapping method in this study. Corrected loads indicated that the bias correction was effective. Using multiple regression analysis, a coefficient estimation methods according to the watershed characteristic were developed. Coefficients which calculated by MLR were used in models. The simulated result and statistics indicated that MLR estimated the model coefficients reasonably. Regression models developed in this study would help simulate pollutant loads for ungauged watersheds and be a screen model for policy decision.

In this study, mesophilic anaerobic digestion of source separated food waste was carried out by leachate recirculation system and methane gas was produced. Two systems - system A and B were fabricated and placed within water bath to maintain $36^{\circ}C$. Each system was comprised of an anaerobic bioreactor and a leachate tank. Leachate in bioreactor was separated through the screen located at 30 mm above the bottom and a pump was installed to transfer collected leachate to the leachate tank. Everyday, 2.5 L of the leachate was pumped from the bioreactor to the leachate tank for 30 min and transferred leachate was pumped back to the top of the bioreactor for 30min, sequentially. Source separated food waste used for this experiment was washed by water before transferring to the laboratory. Transferred food waste was warmed to $36^{\circ}C$ before being fed to bioreactors. System A was fed to 49.1 g VS (Volatile Solids) and System B was fed to 54.0 g VS at every two weeks, respectively. $NH_4{^+}-N$ and salinity were monitored to see the inhibition toward anaerobic bioreaction and it was found that concentrations of these materials were not high enough to affect the bioreaction. Although the food waste was fed biweekly for 112 days and 140 days at system A and B, respectively, there was no sludge withdrawal from each system. Average methane productions rates were 0.439 L $CH_4/g$ VS and 0.368 L $CH_4/g$ VS for system A and B, respectively.
This study is to keep the accuracy and stability of the output dose evaluations for linear accelerator photon beams by using the air ionization chambers (TM31010, 0.125 cc, PTW) through the Task Group 51 protocol. The absorbed dose to water calibration factor $N_{dw}{^{Co-60}}$ was delivered from the air kerma calibration factor $N_k$ which was provided from manufacture through SSDL calibration for determination of output factor. The ionization chamber of TM31010 series was reviewed the calibration factor and other parameters for reduce the uncertainty within ${\pm}2%$ discrepancy and we found the supplied $N_{dw}{^{Co-60}}$ which was derived from Nk has shown a -2.8% uncertainty compare to that of PSDL. The authors provided the program to perform the output dosimetry with TG-51 protocol as it is composed same screen of TG-51 worksheets. The evaluated dose by determination of output factor delivered to postal TLD block for comparison the output dose to that of MDACC (RPC) in postal monitoring program. The results have shown the $1.001{\pm}0.013$ for 6 MV and $0.997{\pm}0.012$ discrepancy for 15 MV X rays for 5 years followed. This study shows the evaluated outputs for linear accelerate photon beams are very close to that of international output monitor with small discrepancy of ${\pm}1.3%$ with high reliability and showing the gradually stability after 2010.
