수치 해석을 이용한 감압 회류 수조 설계 (Depressurized Circulating Water Channel Design Using CFD)

  • New high-speed depressurized circulating water channel was designed by using the CFD code. Flow in the channel has free surface and pressure in the test section can be depressed. In this study, Flow separation and bubble occurrence were considered in designing the contraction nozzle shape for better flow uniformity Tn the test section. To supplement velocity defect due to the free surface, nozzle injection system more effective in high-speed flow was installed instead of drum system. Necessary power and injection techniques were proposed. And guide vane arrangement was analyzed to reduce the flow resistance and keep quiet free surface from ´surging´. Wave absorber was devised to reduce the wave resistance and to prevent the entrainment of air to the diffuser.

  • This study was performed from July to December 1974 to investigate the rates of contamination of distilled water for injection and local anesthetics. 222 vials were sampled from 7 different places of St. Mary's Hospital The samples were cultured for isolation of microorganisms. The results were as follows; 1. Of 222 vials, 11 were Contaminated by 6 types: Staphylococcus epidermis, Bacillus subtilis, Mima polymorph a, Alcaligenes faecalis, Herellea vaginicala and pepto- streptococcus. 2. 5(9.1 %) of 55 vials from surgical wards, 2 (4.2 %) of 48 vials from surgical OPD, and 4 (12,l %) of 33 vials from pediatric wards were contaminated 3. Between rates of contamination of distilled water for injection and local anesthetics and the number of punctures, there was no significant relationship. (CR=1.42 P〉0.1) 4. There was no significant relationship (CR=1.02 P〉0.1) between the rates of contamination of vials and the duration of the first and the last punctures. 5. The ratios of contamination between 75% alcohol and 2% phenol used for disinfection of rubber lids of vials did not show significant difference.

물분무노즐의 분사각이 화재실 내부의 온도장에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Spray Angle of Water Mist Nozzle on Temperature Field of Compartment Fire)

  • The present study investigates the effect of injection angle of water mist on fire suppression characteristics by numerical simulation. In order to validate the temperature field by numerical simulation, the predicted results are compared with experimental data. It shows that the temperature difference between measurements and predictions are within $10^{\circ}C$ Numerical simulations of fire suppression are performed for 4 different injection angle($60^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, $120^{\circ}$, and $180^{\circ}$). The grobal mean temperature over the fire compartment decrease with increasing of spray angle. The result shows that the heat transfer between droplets and gas phase are enhaced with the increasing of spray angle. Near the fire source, temperature field by the wide spray angle is slightly higher than that of narrow injection angle because of direct cooling of fire source.

  • An exergy analysis is carried out for the regenerative gas turbine cycle which has a potential of enhanced thermal efficiency and specific power owing to the more possible water injection than that of inlet fogging under the ambient conditions. Using the analysis model in the view of the second law of thermodynamics, the effects of pressure ratio, water injection ratio and ambient temperature are investigated on the performance of the system such as exergetic efficiency, heat recovery ratio of recuperator, exergy destruction or loss ratios, and on the optimal conditions for maximum exergy efficiency. The results of computation for the typical cases show that the regenerative gas turbine system with afterfogging can make a notable enhancement of exergy efficiency.

  • In this stduy, we will references to provide reasonable basis for the test environments applicable to the chemical resistance test covered by KS F 4935 『Injection-type Sealing Materials for Water Leakage Crack of Adhesive and Flexible Rubber Asphalt』, analyze the problems with the current test methods in consideration of the features of materials. As a result, we assured more objective data in improved chemical resistance test methods.

디젤기관의 연소와 배출물에 관한 연구 (A study on Combustion and Exhaust Emission of Diesel Engine)

  • Combustion characteristic, concentration of NOx and exhaust smoke opacity was experimentally tested, according to fuel injection timing, mixing ratio of water and methanol for the driving condition of 2000 rpm of engine revolution and constant load(7.5kg/cm$^{2}$) using emulsified fuel of gas oil-water methanol. The result obtained was as following. Thermal efficiency indicated highly 0.4-2.7% for emulsified fuel then gas oil, and injection timing when maximum thermal efficiency, slicily risen then gas oil. For constant fuel injection timing ignition lag was increased, combustion duration decreased, maximum heat release rate indicated high, and concentration of NOx and exhaust smoke opacity is decreased, as function of water and methanol content y was higher.

전자유압식 초고압 연료분사계의 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (Computer Simulation of the Electronic Hydraulic Ultra - High Pressure Fuel Injection System)

  • A computer simulation with predict the fuel injection rates and the fuel injection pressure behaviors in diesel engine fuel injection systems would by very useful in designing or improving fuel injection systems. In this paper we developed computer program in order to predict the behaviors of the fuel injection rate and the injection pressure for Electronic Hydraulic Ultra-High Pressure Fuel Injection System. We've applied the continuity and momentum equations for the hydraulic phenomena and the dynamics of individual components of the Electronic Hydraulic Fuel Injection System. To solve all the equations numerically we've applied the Runge-kutta IV method. Water hammer equations were applied for the hydraulic pipe solution, and the method of characteristics was employed in our calculations. The simulation results were compared with the experimental results for: Accumulator pressure, Injection pressure and unjection rate. As a result, The simulation results agree very well with our experimental results. We found that a large accumulator and the high speed solenoid valve were required, and the compression volume of the fuel had to be as small as possible in order to acheive ultra-high pressure fuel injection.

창원지역 낙동강 하천수와 주변 충적층을 이용한 지하수 인공함양의 효율성 평가 (Examination for Efficiency of Groundwater Artificial Recharge in Alluvial Aquifer Near Nakdong River of Changweon Area, Korea)

  • 우리나라에는 4대강 주변에 충적 대수층이 많이 발달하고 있으며, 이러한 충적층을 활용한 인공함양 시스템 운영은 향후 우리나라 미래 수자원 확보에 있어서 중요한 수단이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이 연구는 낙동강 하천변 충적층에서 대수층 저류/이동/회수 방식의 인공함양 기법을 적용하였을 때, 하천수의 반복적인 주입이 대수층의 주입능력에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 고찰하였다. 인공함양 시스템의 주입 효율을 평가하기 위해서 2차례에 걸친 주입시험을 실시하였으며, 각 시험에서의 주입수(하천수)와 4개 관측정 내 지하수의 혼합 비율을 계산하여 주입 효율의 변화를 검토하였다. 혼합 비율 계산에서 사용된 수질 성분은 전기전도도로서, 연구지역에서의 하천수와 대상 지하수의 EC 값은 현저한 차이를 보여 혼합 결과를 확실하게 반영해 주었다. 2차례의 주입시험 결과, 일부 관측정에서는 1차에 비해 2차 시험에서 주입 효과의 발생 시점이 매우 느리게 나타났으며, 대부분의 관측정에서 주입수의 혼합 비율 상승률이 1차 시험에 비해 2차 시험에서 현저히 저하되어 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 인공함양 시스템의 운영이 시간이 흐를수록 그 효율성이 떨어지게 됨을 지시해주는 것이며, 향후 주입수의 수처리 등 사전 관리와 함께 주기적 양수시험, 휴지기 운영 등 사후 관리가 필수적으로 수반되어야 함을 말해 준다. 하천수 주입에 의한 대수층의 수질 개선 효과는 1차 1,210분 주입 시 1일 이상, 2차 14일간 주입 시 4일 혹은 6일 이상 유지됨을 보였다.
