해양심층수 산업 해외 사례 연구 -대만 사례의 분석과 시사점을 중심으로- (International case studies for deep sea water industry -Focusing on the Taiwan case-)

  • 미국, 일본, 대만 등 주요 해양심층수 개발 국가들은 각각 산업개발 여건과 비전을 토대로 산업 발전의 방향을 달리하고 있다. 이중 대만은 해양심층수 개발 국가 중 비교적 늦게 산업을 시작하였지만 산업발전이 비교적 빠르고, 활성화 되어 있는 것으로 평가받고 있다. 국내 해양심층수 산업은 오랫동안 도입기와 성장기의 과도기에 정체되어 있어 새로운 산업정책 및 전략의 수립이 절실한 시점이다. 그러나 현재까지 국내에서 이루어진 해양심층수 연구는 국내외 기술개발과 관련된 연구가 대부분으로, 국가의 산업정책 및 전략 수립을 지원할 수 있는 정책연구는 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문은 해양심층수 산업사례 연구를 중심으로 해외 심층수 산업현황과 향후 추진전망을 제시함으로써 국가의 새로운 심층수 정책 및 전략지원의 근거를 제공하고 있다. 특히, 선진 사례로 꼽히는 대만의 산업정책, 개발 현황 등에 대한 심층 분석을 통해 국내 산업에 대한 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 선행연구와 국가별 사례분석 결과, 해양심층수 산업은 해양심층수의 천연 미네랄을 활용한 의 약품 등 고부가가치 영역에 대한 개발이 지속될 것으로 전망되었다. 또한 대만 해양심층수 산업의 빠른 성장의 요인과 강점은 첫째, 국가차원의 장기적인 산업 다양화 정책과 비전, 둘째, 중앙정부 중심의 유기적인 산업운영 및 협업 체계 셋째, 기업의 고가 프리미엄 상품화 전략 및 다양한 기술개발 시도 넷째, 정부와 기업의 적극적인 재정 투입 등으로 나타났으며, 이는 현재의 국내 해양심층수 산업정책 추진에 대한 새로운 방향제시와 시사점을 제공한다.

쌀 농업에 대한 지역별 물 발자국 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study about Regional Water Footprint of Rice Production in Agriculture Industry)

  • 물 발자국(Water footprint)은 단위 제품 및 단위 서비스 생산 전과정(life cycle) 동안 직접 및 간접적으로 이용되는 물의 총량지표를 나타내는 것을 의미한다. 현재까지 산업별 및 제품에 대한 물 사용량과 관련된 자료가 잘 구축되어져 있지 않으며 특히 많은 물이 사용되어지는 농업 생산 제품에 대한 물 사용량에 대한 자료는 전무하다고 할 수 있기 때문에 각 제품에 대한 물 사용량 자료 구축은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 수자원 이용 형태 중에서 가장 큰 부분을 차지하는 산업 분야인 농업 산업에서 쌀 생산을 중심으로 8개 지자체(강원, 경기, 경북, 경남, 전남, 전북, 충북, 충남)를 범위로 하였으며, Cropwat 8.0 모델을 이용하여 물 사용량을 산정하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 쌀 제품의 간접적인 물 사용량은 경북 지역이 $1,356.68m^3/ton$으로 가장 적은 물 사용량을 가졌으며, 전남지역이 $1,669.54m^3/ton$로 가장 많은 물이 사용되는 것으로 산정되었다. 8개 지자체의 평균적인 물 사용량은 $1,487.87m^3/ton$으로 산정되었으며, 쌀 밥 한 그릇 양의 밥(130 g)을 지을 때 쓰이는 직접 물의 사용량 및 간접 물 사용량을 고려한 총 물 발자국 산정 값은 193.61L로 산정되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 농업 분야 및 전 산업 분야로 확장하여 제품별 물발자국 산정이 필요하며 데이터베이스 구축이 필요하리라 사료된다.

알로에 분말을 첨가한 생면의 제조조건 최적화 (Optimization of Manufacturing Wet Noodle Added with Aloe vera Powder)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to optimize the conditions of manufacturing the wet noodle added with Aloe powder. Methods: The I-optimal design of response surface methodology (RSM) was used for the optimization of added amount of Aloe powder, water content, and kneading time as the independent variables. The quality characteristics (color, texture, water absorption ratio, volume, turbidity) and sensory characteristics (color, flavor, taste, mouth feel, overall acceptance) were analyzed as dependent variables. Results: The lightness, redness, and yellowness of the Aloe noodle were all lowered with the addition of Aloe powder. All texture characteristics such as hardness, elasticity and chewiness of Aloe noodle showed the tendency to increase with increasing amount of Aloe added and kneading time. The water uptake and the volume expansion tended to increase with increasing aloe addition and water addition. As the kneading time increased, the dissolution of solids decreased and the turbidity tended to decrease. Aloe powder content influenced the color, flavor and taste of the noodles most among independent variables, and the mouthfeel of the noodle influenced by the water addition and the kneading time. Conclusion: Aloe noodle showed the best desirability with 3.03% of Aloe powder, 43.56% of water content and 13.06 min of kneading time by RSM analysis. Aloe noodles prepared under these optimized conditions are expected to be able to manufacture and utilize functional Aloe noodles by meeting the content of isobarbaloin, which helps the intestinal functional activity.

송천유역의 수질환경특성 및 효율적 유역관리 (Water Environment Characteristics and Efficient Basin Management of Song Stream)

  • Song stream is located in the upstream of the Namhan River. Normal times, the stream flows down to the east sea through the drainage pipe but at rainy season, it flows to the Namhan River. There are large stock farm, leisure town and cultivated land in this basin. The pollutants from these contamination source cause eutrophication at lake Doam and deterioration of water quality in namdai stream. In this case, this study was carried out to evaluate water quality and environmental capacity as well as economical efficiency of each industry. The basin shape factor of subject stream was 0.315, slope is higher than usual basin. The BOD, T-N and T-P productive contamination loading from each contamination source was 2,690, 974 and 194 kg/day, respectively, and major contamination source was stock farm and cultivated land. Annual BOD, T-N, T-P distribution(median value) of Song stream showed 1.0~2.2 mg/L, 3.16~5.85 mg/L and 0.024~0.197 mg/L Doam lake showed 1.1~1.9, 2.51~3.89 and 0.042~0.114 mg/L, respectively. Being compared of water quality at main stream between past and present, it showed that the water quality has improved since last five years. BOD improvement rate was 8~50%. Run off loading of BOD, T-N, T-P was 366, 1129, 17.2 kg/day, and run off rate was 13.6%, 86.2%, 11.3% respectively. Finally, the result of productivity survey of each industry, leisure town, cultivated land and large stock farm was 118, 46, 50 billion won, per T-P 1kg productive, and productivity portion was 100, 39, 42% respectively, and the highest economical efficiency industry was leisure facilities.

식품용수 수질자료를 이용한 지하수 오염 예측 모델 개발 및 소규모 유역에서의 검증 (Development of Prediction Model of Groundwater Pollution based on Food Available Water and Validation in Small Watersheds)

  • Groundwater is used in many areas in food industry such as food manufacturing, food processing, cooking, and liquor industry etc. in Korea. As groundwater occupies a large portion of food industry, it is necessary to predict deterioration of water quality to ensure the safety of food water since using undrinkable groundwater has a ripple effect that can cause great harm or anxiety to food users. In this study, spatiotemporal data aggregation method was used in order to obtain spatially representative data, which enable prediction of groundwater quality change in a small watershed. In addition, a highly reliable predictive model was developed to estimate long-term changes in groundwater quality by applying a non-parametric segmented regression technique. Two pilot watersheds were selected where a large number of companies use groundwater for food water, and the appropriateness of the model was assessed by comparing the model-produced values with those obtained by actual measurements. The result of this study can contribute to establishing a customized food water management system utilizing big data that respond quickly, accurately, and preemptively to changes in groundwater quality and pollution. It is also expected to contribute to the improvement of food safety management.

플라이애시 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 수밀성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Water Tightness of Fly Ash Antiwashout Underwater Concrete)

  • This paper describes the effects of fly ash replacement on the water tightness of antiwashout underwater concrete, which replaced the cement with fly ash from 0% to 30%. The experimental work was performed to find out the depth of permeation of concrete specimens cast in air and cured in 23 $^{\circ}C$ tap water using an open center pressure type of water permeation tester. The results showed that the permeation depth values of antiwashout underwater concrete were deeper than normal concrete, but that an admixture using fly ash during antiwashout underwater concrete casting in air made it more watertight than normal concrete according to the water permeation testing. SEM observations of the specimens of fly ash antiwashout underwater concrete showed that it wasmore packed with structures because of the pozzolan reaction of the fly ash and cement.

농산물 저온유통용 내수 골판지 상자의 제조(제3보) -원지의 종류와 표면처리 방법에 따른 내수 골판지 원지의 물성- (Manufacture of Water-Resistant Corrugated Board Boxes for Agricultural Products in the Cold Chain System(III) - Effects of types of base paper and surface treatments on physical properties of the base paper for water resistant corrugated board -)

  • For the purpose of developing liner board for water resistant corrugated board in the cold chain system, several types of base paper for corrugated board were purchased from the market and 6 different boards were produced in the mill by applying the chemicals, chosen in the previous studies, on the base paper. Then water-moisture resistance and physical properties of the boards were compared each other. The liner board which is dried at high temperature with pressure by Condebelt (CK paper) showed a superior performance in strength over common liner boards. Strength of the board increased by surface chemical treatment up to $60\%$ of compressive strength and $30\%$ of burst strength. Starch insolubilization with Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate and surface coating with a surface sizing agent and a moisture resistant chemical on CK paper showed the best result. Therefore this method was recommended to produce the outer liner board for water resistant corrugated board.

투습도 측정방법에 따른 스포츠웨어용 투습직물의 투습특성 (Breathability of Breathable Fabrics for Sportswear according to Measuring Method)

  • This study investigated water vapor permeability of the 73 breathable fabrics for sports-wear according to the materials, finishing methods and fabric structural parameters. The water vapor permeability by KS K 0594 method of PET breathable fabric was superior than that of nylon one, in addition, water vapor permeability of coated or laminated breathable fabrics were higher than those of hot melt or dot laminated fabrics. The water vapor permeability of breathable fabric was dependent on the thickness, weight and density, which was consistent with measuring method. However, water vapor permeability according to materials and finishing method showed different results according to measuring method. The correlation coefficient of WVP of PET breathable fabrics between ISO and KS K measuring methods was -0.83 and the correlation coefficient of WVP of coated breathable fabrics was -0.72 and -0.71 for KS K and ASTM and -0.72 for KS K and ISO in hot melt laminated breathable fabrics. According to regression analysis, WVP of PET breathable fabric by both KSK and ISO measuring methods was highly dependent upon on the density and weight. In addition, WVP of hot melt laminated breathable fabric was highly dependent upon thickness, weight and density. Therefore, relevant measuring method for WVP of breathable fabrics has to be adopted to measure precise breathability.

AA-GWR Water Retention Meter를 이용한 부동화 농도 측정법

  • The water retention of coating colors can be accurately measured by devices such as an AA-GWR water retention meter whose principle of measurement is based on pressure filtration of coatings under an externally applied air pressure over a certain period of time. It was hypothesized that such devices could be also used to determine the immobilization solids(IMS) of coating colors by determining a sudden drop in the rate of dewatering, that is, a sudden change in the drainage curves. To test this hypothesis, the immobilization solids of coating colors containing various thickeners and water retention additives at different levels were first accurately measured by a modified immobilization tester based on the well-known gloss drop method, and then their values were compared with those obtained by an AA-GWR water retention tester. They agreed very well and showed that the mean of the solids differences is 0.36% in the IMS points between both methods. This good agreement was not surprising because both test methods are based on the same end-point, that is, the immobilization solids point at which menisci begin to form at the coating surface. Theoretical considerations supporting this new method for measuring the immobilization solids of coating colors are presented and some recommendations for the test method are discussed. Also, the effect of various thickeners and water retention additives on the properties and printability of coated papers is discussed.
