Aspergillus parasiticus R-716의 aflatoxin 생성저해 물질에 관한 연구 - 효과적인 채소추출 및 그 영향 - (Studies on the inhibitor of aflatoxin production by Aspergillus parasiticus R-716 - Effective extraction of vegetables and their effects -)

  • In this study, th effective extraction of 5 vegetables, which have been shown to inhibit the growth of the aflatoxin production of Aspergillus parasiticus R-716, was investigated and their effects were examined. Radish, cabbage, garlic and zinger were effectively with water-chloroform, but crown daisy with n-hexane. Among them, water-chloroform extract of radish was remarkably effective, and garlic extract only inhibited the growth strongly. The growth and the aflatoxin production of the strain were showed 0.758g/25ml, 763ug/25ml with the addition of water-chloroform extract equivalent 15g of raw radish, and an increase in the level of radish extract resulted in a decrease both the growth and the aflatoxin production per mycerial weight.

  • 세라믹 인공치관으로 응용을 위해 생체친화적이며 용매에 용해가 잘되고 연소 후 잔류물이 남지 않는 결합제인 PVP로 수계용 알루미나 테이프를 제조하였다. 알루미나 테이프의 인장강도는 결합제(b)와 가소제(p)의 비(b/b+p))에 의해, 그리고 소결체 수축과 밀도는 알루미나(a)와 유기물(o)의 비 (a/(a+o))에 의해 영향을 받았다. 소결된 가공성 알루미나 테이프에 유리를 침투시켜 강화된 세라믹 인공치관용 복합체의 강도는 소결밀도가 증가할수록 높은 값을 보였다.

In vitro study of fracture strength of provisional crown materials

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this report was to evaluate the effect of the fabrication method and material type on the fracture strength of provisional crowns. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A master model with one crown (maxillary left second premolar) was manufactured from Cr-Co alloy. The master model was scanned, and the data set was transferred to a CAD/CAM unit (Yenamak D50, Yenadent Ltd, Istanbul, Turkey) for the Cercon Base group. For the other groups, temporary crowns were produced by direct fabrication methods (Imident, Temdent, Structur Premium, Takilon, Systemp c&b II, and Acrytemp). The specimens were subjected to water storage at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours, and then they were thermocycled (TC, $5000{\times}$, $5-55^{\circ}C$) (n=10). The maximum force at fracture (Fmax) was measured in a universal test machine at 1 mm/min. Data was analyzed by non-parametric statistics (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. Fmax values varied between 711.09-1392.1 N. In the PMMA groups, Takilon showed the lowest values (711.09 N), and Cercon Base showed the highest values (959.59 N). In the composite groups, Structur Premium showed the highest values (1392.1 N), and Acrytemp showed the lowest values (910.05 N). The composite groups showed significantly higher values than the PMMA groups (P=.01). CONCLUSION. Composite-based materials showed significantly higher fracture strengths than PMMA-based materials. The CADCAM technique offers more advantages than the direct technique.

All-ceramic Crown 용 도재의 동적 피로특성 평가 (AN EVALUATION OF DYNAMIC FATIGUE CHARACTERISTICS OF DENTAL CERAMICS FOR ALL-CERAMIC CROWN)

  • This study was peformed to evaluate the dynamic fatigue characteristics of the dental ceramics for all-ceramic crown. A feldspathic porcelain of VMK68. glass ceramic of IPS-Empress, and glass infiltrated alumina ceramic of In-Ceram were used. Disc specimens were prepared to the final dimensions of 12 mm in diameter and 1 mm in thickness. The biaxial flexure test was conducted using a ball-on-three-ball method. 240 specimens were tested in $37^{\circ}C$ water by testing 20 samples at each of four loading rates:0.05, 0.2, 1, and 5mm/min. 60 specimens were tested in a moisture-free environment by testing 20 samples at 5mm/min. The inert strength of VMK68 was 80.25MPa, and the fatigue parameters were n=29.1, ${\sigma}_{fo}=52.90MPa$. The inert strength of IPS-Empress was 104.76MPa, and the fatigue parameters were n=32.46, ${\sigma}_{fo}=67.52MPa$. The inert strength of In-Ceram was 429.33MPa, and the fatigue parameters were n=31.46, ${\sigma}_{fo}=258.36MPa$. 10-year failure stresses of VMK68, IPS-Empress, and In-Ceram were 20.3MPa, 24.8MPa, and 93.6MPa, respectively. Failure strength and fatigue life showed the highest value in In-Ceram, and then, IPS-Empress and VMK68.

  • 수리모형실험을 통해 경사식 호안 배후면 포장체 상부면에 작용하는 월파력과 하부면에 작용하는 양압력을 계측하고 설계에 활용 가능한 경험식을 제안하였다. 상부구조물의 파라펫, 수심, 상대여유고 및 소파블록 피복두께 조건을 다르게 실험을 수행하여 경사식 호안 상부구조물 및 배후 포장체에 작용하는 파력을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 월파에 의한 파력과 양압력에 영향을 미치는 주요 상관변수를 식별하고, 포장체에 작용하는 파력을 산정할 수 있는 경험식을 제안하였다.

  • This study aims to evaluate the behavior of poorly-compacted raised reservoir levee with water level raising by using centrifugal model test. From the test results, it seems that the hydraulic fracturing at the core of the raised reservoir levee with low degree of compaction possibly occurs due to the drastical increase of pore water pressure by water level raising. Additionally, the continuous infiltration may induce crack and/or sinkhole on the surface of the poorly-compacted raised reservoir levee owing to the increase of the subsidences at the crown and the front side of that. Therefore, reasonable construction management for the compaction of the raised reservoir levee is needed.

터널시공 중 붕락발생 원인과 최신 보강기술 (Major causes of failure and recent measurements of tunnel construction)

  • During the tunnel construction the major failure mode can be categorized as: tunnel failure just after the tunnel excavation without support, failure after application of shotcrete and finally failure after setting the concrete lining. The failure mode just after the tunnel excavation without support, can be further classified as : bench failure, crown failure, face failure, full face failure, failure due to weak strata and failure due to overburden. Moreover the failure after application of shotcrete is classified as heading face failure, settlement of shotcrete support, local failure of shotcrete lining and invert shotcrete. To find out the major causes of tunnel collapse, the investigation was done in case of the second phase of Seoul subway construction. The investigation results depicted that the major causes of tunnel collapse were due to the weak layer of rock/fault and sudden influx of ground water from the tunnel crown. While the investigation results of the mountain road tunnels construction have shown that the major causes of tunnel failure were inadequate analysis of tunnel face mapping results, intersection of faults and limestone cavities. In this paper some recent measurement in order to mitigate such tunnel collapse are presented

  • 본 연구는 도시 우수관망 설계 시 주어진 설계유량을 효율적이고 경제적인 단면 구성과 관망에 따른 우수배제 능력을 극대화시키기 위해 최적화 기법인 동적계획법(Dynamic Programming : DP)의 특수한 방법인 이산미분형 동적계획법(Discrete Differential Dynamic programming DDDP)를 이용해 최적화된 설계조건을 구할 수 있도록 하였다. 이산미분형 동적계획법의 기법은 설계유량과 맨홀의 위치가 결정되면 그에 따른 최적 우수시스템이 될 수 있는 관의 용량, 경사, 수위, 수심, 위험도, 회수비용 등을 결정할 수 있는 방법으로 이는 공사비용에 따를 최소비용을 목적함수로 위험도 분석을 통하여 최적화된 조건을 찾는 방법으로 모형개발을 하였다. 개발된 모형을 실제 단지계획의 합리식으로 설계된 우수관망 계획과 비교 검증하여 보다 경제적이고 효율적인 우수관망 시스템을 구축하는 모형을 제시하였다.

시효처리와 thermal cycling이 치관전장용 복합레진의 2축굽힘강도에 미치는 영향 (EFFECTS OF AGING AND THERMAL CYCLING ON THE BIAXIAL FLEXURE STRENGTH OF VENEERING RESIN COMPOSITES FOR CROWN)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of aging and thermal cycling on the biaxial flexure strength of low commercially available veneering resin composites for crown(Dentacolor : DC, Artglass : AG, Esternia : ET and Targis : TG). Disc specimens were fabricated in a teflon mold giving 12mm in diameter and 1mm in thickness. All samples were divided into 4 groups. Group 1 was dried in a dessicator at $25^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 2 was immersed in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 3 was immersed in distilled water at $65^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Group 4 was subjected to 10,000 thermal cycles between $5^{\circ}C\;and\;55^{\circ}C$, and the immersion time in each bath was 15 seconds per cycle. Biaxial flexure test was conducted using the ball-on-three-ball method at the cross head speed of 0.5mm/min and fracture surfaces were observed with scanning electoron microscope. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. Weibull modulus values, except for the AG group, decreased after thermal cycling treatment. 2. Biaxial flexure strength values of aging group at $37^{\circ}C$ were the lowest in all sample groups. Except for the DC group, strength values were significantly decreased for the drying group. 3. After thermal cycling test, the highest value of biaxial flexure strength of 188.8 MPa was observed in the ET group and the lowest value of 73.2 MPa was observed in the DC group. The strength values showed the significant differences in each group (p<0.05). 4. Observation of surfaces after thermal cycling test revealed the ditching in the part of surrounding large fillers.

Phytophthora nicotianae에 의한 서향 역병 (Phytophthora Blight on Daphne odora Caused by Phytophthora nicotianae)

  • 2002년에서 2003년까지 경상남도 사천시 와룡산 기슭의 서향 재배포장에서 Phytophthora nicotianae에 의한 서향 역병이 발생하였다. 병징은 잎이 황화되면서 떨어지고 줄기 및 지제부워가 암갈색의 수침상으로 갈변되어 썩으면서 시들어 말라 죽는다. PDA 배지 상에서 균총은 전형적인 장미꽃 또는 거미집 형태를 나타내었고 균사생육은 느렸다. 유주자낭은 구형 또는 난형이며 많은 양의 후막포자를 형성하였으며, 크기는 23~$56{\times}21$~$34\mu\textrm{m}$ 이었다. 유성생식형은 자웅이주이며, 후막포자는 구형이며 크기는 16~$32\mu\textrm{m}$이었다. 난포자는 비충만형으로 크기는 18~$26\mu\textrm{m}$ 이다. 장정기는 저착이며 구형이었다. 균사 생육적온은 25~$30^{\circ}C$ 였다.
