사출성형 CAE를 이용한 세탁기용 Base 성형용 금형의 유동 시스템 최적화 (Optimization of feed system of base mold for washing machine using CAE)

  • The position of the gate is one of the important factors for optimal injection molding. This is because inappropriate gate positions cannot fill the cavity uniformly, which can lead to defects such as contraction. In this study, CAE was performed on hot runner injection molding of the washing machine base and plasticity was compared by changing gate position from existing gate position. A total of two alternatives have been applied to compare the plasticity of the washing machine base according to its optimal gate position. The gate position of the improved molds and the gate position of the current mold is analyzed by injection molding analysis. The results of the fill time, the pressure at V/P switchover, clamping force, and deflection were compared. In washing machine base injection molding, the deflection was reduced by about 3.76% in the improved mold 2. In improved mold 1, the fill time during injection molding was reduced by 3.32% to enable uniform charging, and the clamping force was reduced by 31.24%. We have confirmed that the position of the gate can change the charging pressure and the clamping force and affect the quality and cost savings of the molded product.

  • The vibration of the dehydration process in a washing machine is important problem that affects the performance of products. In this paper, the upper structure of a washing machine is modeled as rigid body suspension system and, by numerical analysis, the amplitude of a spin basket and the transfer moment at a base plate are calculated. To examine the vibrational characteristics according to design variable change, the friction coefficient in anubber, the radius of curvature, the stiffness coefficient, initial length and locations of support springs are considered in the analysis. Experimental results are compared with those of analysis.

  • 이 논문은 세탁기의 진동제어를 위한 MR 댐퍼의 설계과정을 제시한다. 이 연구에서는 MR 댐퍼의 작은 크기와 함께 높은 댐핑력과 저전력을 소비하도록 설계되었다. MR 댐퍼는 전단모드를 사용하도록 제안되었고 빙햄모델을 이용하여 최설설계를 진행하였다. 이 과정에서 멀티코일이 댐핑력을 높이기 위해 적용되었고 최적화된 구조를 찾아내기 위하여 APDL을 이용하여 최적설계가 수행되었다. 이 후 최적의 수치 값들을 통해 제작하여 실험을 수행하였다. 이 때 슬라이딩모드 제어기를 적용하여 시뮬레이션과 제어실험을 모두 수행하였다. 실험의 결과로부터 MR 댐퍼가 세탁기의 진동제어를 위한 요구 댐핑력을 만족시켜줌을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 세탁통 및 감속장치가 스너버(Snubber)와 지지 스프링에 의 해서 지지되는 하부지지형 세탁기를 모델로 선택하였으며, 시스템의 동특성 해석을 위하여 세탁기를 회전체를 갖는 강체 현가 시스템으로 모델링하고 운동방정식을 구하여 수치 해법을 적용하여 진동 특성을 계산하였다. 세탁기 의 진동 형태를 예측하기 위해서 밑판의 마찰 계수, 스터버의 곡률 반경, 지지 스프링 계수 및 위치 등을 진동량에 영향을 미치는 설계 변수로 선정하여 결과를 구하였으며, 이 자료들을 설계 변경시에 이용할 수 있게 하였다.

박판 알루미늄 도금강판의 플라즈마 용접성에 미치는 용접조건 및 롤러의 영향 (Effect of Welding Condition and Roller on Weldability of Al Coated Steel Sheet using Plasma Arc Welding)

  • Al-coated steel sheets with excellent heat and corrosion resistance are widely used in various applications. In welding of thin plate, some defects such as unmelted zone and metal-through occur easily in the beginning and ending of welding line. In the study, the welding defects in Al-coated steel sheets were investigated with respect to plasma arc current, height between Cu block and base metals, and using a roller to align the height of the base metal. Full penetration and voids free welds were obtained with a plasma arc current 52A and weld speed 2.3m/min. An unmelted zone increased and Ericshen rate decreased as the height between Cu block and base metal increased from 0 to 0.6mm. Using a roller moving ahead of the plasma arc, the length of unmelted zone decreased from 1.7mm to 0.5mm.
